Casey gave a low whistle upon pulling into the driveway of the house Jon had bought. He was leaning against the garage in jeans and a tshirt, typical Jon fashion, and he looked pretty proud of himself.
"There's my girl!" He cheered as Casey stepped out of the car and she grinned when he pulled her into a hug them proceeded to spin them in a small circle. "I've missed you, Casey."
"I've missed you, too." She whispered before he kissed her softly, setting off every firework in her body. Kissing him would never get old. "JJ slept the whole drive from the airport."
"So did the dogs, I see." Jon observed, looking to see Carter curled up in the passenger's seat and Parker laying in the backseat, his head resting on the soft padded of JJ's car seat. As soon as the back door opened, the golden retriever was on his feet, tail wagging with excitement as soon as he saw Jon. In record time, the dog had gotten out of the car and Jon was kneeling in front of him, scratching behind his ears and pressing kisses to his muzzle while Casey got JJ out of the car.
"Come on, Carter." Casey encouraged the pug, who only stared at her from where he stood on his back paws, the center console providing a place for him to balance with his front paws.
"Prince Carter isn't going to jump like that." Jon teased, opening the drivers side door for the pug to get out while Casey soothed JJ back to sleep.
"He has somewhere to lay down, right?" Casey asked and her husband nodded as he wrapped his arm around her waist and whistled for the dogs to follow behind.
Casey took one look around from where she stood in the entryway. There was a large formal room space and she could see the dining room from the door. The kitchen looked huge and do did the backyard.
"So?"
"I love what I can see. The backyard pleases me."
"Thought it would. The dogs will have good a time back there and you won't have to worry about juggling the both of them and JJ. I think about these things."
Casey loved watching Jon play with JJ. She didn't like the way he tossed their son into the air, but she'd started to overlook that. He always looked so happy with JJ, like nothing else mattered to him in that moment but their son. She loved that. She had seen him unhappy on so many different occasions, all she ever wanted was to see him smile. Especially since he always goes through a bunch of trouble to make her happy.
The doorbell ringing snapped her from her thoughts and she grabbed his wallet off of the counter to get the money to pay for dinner. She sorted through the various bills, just looking for two twenties, when she stumbled upon a condom package. She merely pocketed it and proceeded to pay for their dinner with a fake smile before heading into the kitchen.
"Case, what's wrong?" Jon asked once he set JJ in his high chair and Casey only shook her head.
"Nothing's wrong, Jon."
"There is, though. You have that face that tells me that you're pissed but you're not going to tell me what's wrong."
"I'm not going to have this conversation in front of JJ." Casey stated firmly and Jon looked to where their son was watching them with interest.
"Da!"
"Yeah, bud?" Jon asked, smiling over at the ten month old.
"O!"
"He wants Cheerios." Casey sighed and he was quick to get what his son wanted. He wished that he understood what had happened to cause such a quick mood swing with Casey, since she was usually in a good mood.
Casey was furious with her husband. Why the hell would he have a conform in his wallet? They were married, why would he have one for her? Obviously he was screwing around while he was on the road and didn't want to take chances. Just the thought pissed off the former Diva's Champion, and devastated her at the same time. He promised to never hurt her, and it killed her that he would after everything they had been through together. She wasn't even hungry anymore, so she went upstairs to call a friend.
Jon made his way up the stairs ten minutes after laying JJ down in his playpen. He had to talk to Casey about what was bothering her and he hoped it wasn't bad. He wasn't expecting her to be sitting in the middle of what was going to be their bedroom and on the phone. Rather than alerting her to his presence, he put his back to the wall beside the doorframe and listened in.
"...I don't know what to think... I know and I love him too, which is why if it's what I think it is I'm going to be in a tough spot... I can't go running to you every time there's an issue with Jon, Adam... I did read the letter, and I appreciate the offer... If and only I'd that turns out to be the case... I know... Bye." Once he heard her aggravated sigh, he stepped into the room.
"Casey? What's wrong, kitten?" Jon asked and Casey stared up at him before standing up.
"What's wrong? You have a fucking condom your wallet and you want to ask what's wrong?" She flung the condom at him and he caught it effortlessly, turning it over in his hands.
"Case, let me-"
"You have two minutes."
"I'm not cheating on you. That's been in my wallet since god knows when. It's probably expired, Case. You know that I never clean out my wallet. But damn it, I'm cleaning it out tonight." Casey only stared at him as he stepped closer and he cupped her face in his hands. "I'm yours, Casey Mae. My heart, my dick, everything that makes up my body is yours."
"I let my temper get the best of me again. How do you deal with me?" Casey asked with a small smile and Jon shrugged.
"The makeup sex definitely makes up for these moments." Jon joked and Casey smiled. "But you've got to remember that my heart beats for you, Casey. You and you only."
"What about your dick?"
"Strangely, I'll get hard watching stuff on the Network, and then I realize that I'm watching one of your matches when you were with the Shield and your ass in those pants... I think I'm getting hard just thinking about it."
"So it only works for me?" Casey asked with a giggle as Jon lifted her up and her legs wrapped around his waist.
"Only for you." Jon confirmed before kissing her softly, enjoying the feel of her fingers running through his hair.
"Can I get a demo?"
