When I saw all your reviews, I was so happy. I was laughing (and crying, too, for some reason), and practically bouncing up and down in excitement. My happiness was spilling over. And when I'm happy, I'm hyper, which makes it a good time to get a lot of writing done. You know, putting my extraordinary amount of energy into my writing. Unfortunately, it was already 10 p.m., so I couldn't get on the computer. Which means my energy kept building until I felt like I had a deluxe package of Weasleys' Wildfire Whiz-Bangs flying around in my head.

Anyway, I will now be doing my best to update every single day-and I hope you guys keep your promises as well.

On another note, here's that Frazel chapter I promised you. Like I've already said, it's not that good. I'd even go so far to say that it sucks. But I already rewrote this chapter four different times, and this was the end result. It has a little bit of Percabeth and Jasper as well, but just a little. It's also got a bit of Percy and Jason bro bonding. And it's also extremely long, so much so, in fact, that I had to cut myself off and will continue this scene next Argo chapter. I was going to just do an extra long chapter to celebrate all you beautiful wonderful readers and our new pact, but it got a bit out of hand. I hope you enjoy it, particularly its length! :)

Also: Just a brief response to several reviews that were nice and considerate, and told me that they understand I have a life, and that I can update whenever I want: Thank you for your consideration, I love you, but understand this: I have no life. None. All I do after school every day is get on the computer and write. Or read. Or write in my journal, or the notebook I keep for notes on this fanfiction. So, to rephrase: This fanfiction pretty much is my life right now. But I'll let you know if that changes.

Chapter XLIII

Hazel

Hazel watches in amusement as Annabeth drags Leo into the room. The blonde girl obviously hadn't missed the way Leo was edging slowly away, back towards the engine room. She follows right behind them, not wanting to miss a single thing. She hasn't laughed in a while; it'll feel good to have something to smile about.

Annabeth stops just inside the doorway, shuffling to the side to leave room for Leo and Hazel. She looks over to where Percy is talking animatedly with Jason and crosses her arms.

Hazel makes a beeline for her chair, right next to Frank. She scoots her chair closer to him, so that their shoulders are touching.

"What'd I miss?" She whispers in his ear.

"Not much." He whispers back. "They're still going strong." His breath tickles Hazel's ear, sending warm tingles through her entire body.

Hazel looks back at where Percy is standing, looking down at Jason, who's seated in his chair with his right arm around Piper's shoulders.

"Dude, I would totally beat you in a fight." He was saying.

"Not a chance, man." Jason retorts.

"How can you even keep a straight face when you say that? 'Cuz you have to be joking." Percy answers.

"My dad's king of the gods." Jason reminds Percy.

"And my dad's lord of the ocean. Your point is?" Percy shoots back.

"My dad's more powerful than yours, so that makes me more powerful than you." Jason explains.

"In what universe is that true? My dad could definitely take yours!" Percy argues.

"As if! Besides, if your dad could beat mine, why isn't he king of the gods?"

"He's not melodramatic enough for the job."

Hazel watches as the argument intensifies. "I wish I had popcorn." She whispers to Frank.

He grins and grabs one of the plates from the dining table. Soon, Hazel's holding a huge bucket of buttery popcorn, absentmindedly eating handfuls of it as she continues watching the antics of the two demigods.

"Air disasters are way better than sea disasters!"

"No way! Thunderstorms and tornados are just a bit of wind and rain. My dad creates hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes-how can you beat that?"

"Want some?" Hazel asks, tilting the popcorn bucket towards Frank. He grabs a handful, and they start sharing it.

Hazel loves how, no matter how rude their insults are, or how angry their voices sound, both boys stay relaxed, calm. They're even smiling. Well, a little. Neither of them is actually getting angry with each other. It's all just friendly banter.

"Boys!" Annabeth finally shouts, interrupting Percy in the middle of a sentence.

Percy looks up and grins broadly. "Annabeth!" He exlaims, as if he hasn't seen her in days. He jumps over the table and hugs her tightly, picking her up off the floor and crushing her arms to her sides. Hazel's recently broken ribs twinge in sympathy.

"Percy," Annabeth groans, "put me down."

"Nice of you to join us, Wise Girl." He says cheerfully, after setting her back down on the floor.

Annabeth glares at him. "Percy," she says sternly, "you know as well as I do that I've been here for several minutes." But a smile is tugging at the corners of her lips, and Percy can obviously tell, because he just grins wider.

"Whatever you say, Wise Girl." He teases, leaning forward and planting a kiss on her lips. Hazel leans on the door frame, arms crossed, waiting.

Percy pulls back first, grinning. Annabeth glowers up at him, but she doesn't protest when he wraps his arm around her waist and pulls her close to his side.

"So, Wise Girl, what was with the untimely interruption?" He asks.

"So, Seaweed Brain, what was with your argument with Jason?" She shoots back.

His brows quirk up in confusion. "What argument?"

Annabeth glares at him. "You two were fighting over which of you is more powerful."

"Oh, that?" Percy waves his hand airily, dismissing it. "That wasn't arguing."

"Yeah, Annabeth, we were just talking." Jason interjects, a sly grin splitting his features.

"You guys are hopeless." Annabeth sighs, giving up.

"Then how'd we get such beautiful girlfriends?" Percy asks, grinning goofily and pulling Annabeth even closer. Jason grins too, and turns to Piper, pulling her close and kissing her hard on the lips.

Hazel looks away, fanning her face with her hand, and when she looks back, Piper has pulled away, although her face is completely red.

"Smooth, Seaweed Brain, really smooth." Annabeth comments, crossing her arms again.

"Ah, come on, Wise Girl, you know you love me." Percy says, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close. She resists at first, but finally surrenders and hugs him back. Percy kisses her, and she leans into it.

Hazel clears her throat. Apparently she's going to have to be the mature one.

Speaking of mature...she hides the popcorn bucket under the table, out of sight.

"So, Percy, what did you call us here for?" She asks.

"Huh?" He asks, confused. "Oh, yeah." He looks down at Annabeth. "Come along, girlfriend, time to tell everyone why we asked them here."

"You asked them here, not me. And you wouldn't even tell me why." Annabeth replies, shooting him an irritated glare.

"Uh huh, sure." Percy says, dragging her to her seat. Obviously, he has no idea what she said.

"So," Percy starts loudly, startling everybody. "Roseus says that there's a particularly large nest of sea serpents just ahead of us."

Everyone's quiet, waiting for him to continue.

"Now, I, for one, was all for swimming down and saying hi. But Roseus feels like it might be wise if we avoided said sea monster nest, considering that there are currently dozens of half-grown hungry monsters that would like nothing better than to eat us."

"Okay, so we just go around them." Leo says from his corner. Percy wags a finger at him, which is just weird.

"Nope. Can't. Sea monsters have a freakishly good sense of smell. If we went around, it'd end up taking us miles out of our way. Roseus wants us to activate our whole flying ship thing-which he thinks is really weird, by the way, since the ship doesn't have wings-and go directly over the nest. You know, just up in the air where they can't reach us."

"Fine by me." Leo shrugs.

"Which means," Percy continues as if Leo never said anything, "that it's your turn, Sparky." He grins at the blonde boy next to him.

Jason leans away from him a little, obviously freaked out by his strange enthusiasm. "Uh, okay. Can you stop staring at me now?"

Percy laughs, for some reason. "Whatever you say, Sparky. Anyway, now that that's settled..." He turns back to Annabeth with a troublemaker look in his eyes, "I have other things to do."

He suddenly swoops down and picks up Annabeth, slinging her over his shoulder. She shrieks in protest, but it's too late for her to be able to do anything about it.

"Perseus Jackson! You put me down right now or else!" She yells at him, pounding her fist against his back. He winces briefly, and she obviously feels it, because she doesn't do it again.

"Or else what?" He teases.

Hazel starts eating her popcorn again.

Annabeth's silent for a few beats, thinking, but then she glances slyly at Leo and answers. "If you don't put me down right now, I won't kiss you for a week!"

"Uh huh. Sure, Wise Girl. As if you could resist me for that long." He replies, rolling his eyes.

She kicks her legs, trying to connect with some part of him, but he pins her legs against his chest and stops her.

"Geez, Annabeth. If I didn't know any better, I'd think you wanted me to put you down." He tells her.

Hazel has to stifle a giggle, and her shoulders shake with the effort of holding it in. Frank looks over at her with a grin and grabs another fistful of popcorn.

"Best entertainment ever, right?" He whispers.

She just nods, unable to speak.

Annabeth struggles helplessly against Percy's grip, but he's unyielding. Finally, she gives up, and looks over at everyone else, exasperated.

"Aren't any of you going to help me?" She asks.

They all look at each other.

"No." They answer simultaneously.

"Why not?" She says, irritated.

"Percy is a scary dude." Leo replies, without looking up from whatever new mechanical device he's working on.

"Plus the fact that he demonstrated just the other day how easy it is for him to beat us." Jason adds.

"And it's also really entertaining to watch." Frank finishes.

"Sorry, Annabeth." Hazel and Piper chorus.

"Well, looks like you're stuck, Wise Girl." Percy tells her.

She glares at his back. "You'll have to put me down eventually. And when you do, I'm going to strangle you."

"Whatever you say, Annabeth." He says. He starts walking down the hall. "See you guys later!" He calls back from the hallway.

He heads out the door, Annabeth in tow. The rest of the Seven sit in silence for a few seconds.

"What was that all about?" Leo finally asks.

"No idea." Hazel answers.

"Should we follow them? I feel like we should follow them." Frank says.

They all look at each other. Then they simultaneously start for the doorway, scrambling to be first.

Hazel, somehow, is the first one out and up the stairs. She regrets that when she reaches the top of the stairs and instantly gets a faceful of water.

"Percy!" she hears Annabeth scold her boyfriend. Hazel wipes the water from her eyes and squints to see what's going on.

Percy is rolling on the deck, laughing hysterically. Tears are streaming from the corners of his eyes. Annabeth is standing over him, hands on her hips.

Frank comes up behind her. "I think you need a towel."

"You think?" She replies sarcastically. She's completely soaked from head to toe. Jason, Piper, and Leo crowd on the staircase behind her.

"Why is Percy having a seizure?" Leo asks.

"I told you, he's hyper. He just ate way too much sugar, especially since he's already ADHD." She looks apologetically at Hazel. "Sorry, Hazel."

Hazel waves it away. "It's just a little water, I'll be fine. And it wasn't your fault." She glares at Percy, who's now laughing so hard that it's silent. His entire face is red with lack of oxygen.

Annabeth looks back down at him. "Breathe, Percy." She tells him. He sucks in a big breath and promptly starts laughing again. Annabeth sighs.

"Should we be worried?" Jason asks.

"Probably." Piper replies.

Finally, Percy calms down enough to stand, but it's obvious that every time he looks at Hazel he has to hold in more laughter.

"I decided," he says, "that I'm going to have fun today."

"How is that any different from any other day?" Leo wonders.

"It's not. Except that this time I'm actually trying to have fun. Get it?" Percy answers.

"Not really." Leo says. Percy shrugs and turns to Annabeth.

"Wanna climb the rigging again?" He asks. She looks at him warily.

"Right now, I don't really trust you." She tells him. He clasps his hands in front of him, looking down at her with puppy-dog eyes.

"Please?" He begs.

"Fine." Annabeth huffs. He grins and grabs her wrist, sprinting over to the mast.

He starts climbing, pulling Annabeth up behind him.

"Okay, now I'm really concerned." Jason says, watching them climb.

"How do you think I felt yesterday when they jumped?" Leo mutters.

Percy reaches the crosspiece of the mast and makes sure Annabeth is seated comfortably before sitting down himself.

Then he lets himself slide backwards until he's hanging upside down by his knees. He grins widely, so that they can tell he's smiling even all the way down on the deck.

"Come on, guys! It's fun!" He calls down.

Leo looks up at them, looks back down, and shakes his head in exasperation and resignation. Hazel thinks he's about to tell them they're crazy, but then he looks back up, squinting in the sun, and shrugs. He walks over to the controls, hits a few buttons, and the ship starts to rise into the air, which doesn't even faze Percy. Then he starts climbing up after them.

Piper, Jason, Hazel, and Frank all look at each other. Then Jason grins, and turns towards Piper.

"Race you." He says. Piper gets a mischevious glint in her eyes and smiles back slyly.

"You're on." She replies. Then they both run towards the base of the mast and start climbing as fast as they can side by side.

Frank looks at Hazel. She shrugs.

"What the heck?" She says, and runs to start climbing too, with Frank following close behind, always ready to catch her if she falls.

That ending isn't up to my usual standards, I know. But I still think it's pretty decent for having to cut myself off.

As one of my lovely twists, we are going to get back to Nico and Reyna before you get to know how this scene ends. *mischevious smirk* Don't you love me?

Smileyfaces to everyone! :) :D :-) ;) ;D :-D
