While Arthur was on his way back to Banderas with the response letter from Sarah, the young Royal was busy kissing Maria as the two made love in the forest in their attempts to have children and they constantly swapped places in being on top or the bottom with Banderas, currently, on top of Maria.
The two royals are deeply in love with each other as they continued to share kisses while knowing that this affair has brought them together and they didn't want to be separated from each other as they knew that it would break their hearts in doing so as they kept on showing their love to each other.
Eventually they stopped and they settled with cuddling each other as they enjoyed the warmth of each other's bodies in the bright morning sun as they knew that they have a chance to be themselves without others giving them looks of disbelief and anger, something that they are glad to be away from.
"You know, Banderas" said Maria as she looked into Banderas's eyes. "I always dreamed of these moments".
"Same here, Maria" said Banderas as he kissed Maria's neck. "You know, I always had a crush on you".
"Oh, that's so sweet" said Maria as she smiled at Banderas. "I didn't know, that you are such a flatter".
"Well, that's me for you" said Banderas as he returned the smile. "I will always love you, Maria".
Maria smiled again as she kissed Banderas on the beak which the latter, happily, returned as they continued to show their love to each other as they began the long waiting process for any chance of having children of their own while in hiding from Haredi and his men.
They had just fallen asleep when Banderas heard the sound of hooves coming and he went to see if it's Arthur that was coming back, before quickly finding out that it was indeed Arthur, who has returned from his travels to Queen Sarah's kingdom and Banderas is happy to see the young boy again.
He, gently and silently, got out of Maria's grasp before walking over to Arthur as the young boy got down from his horse and handed him the response letter from Banderas's mother, Queen Sarah, as the two knew that she is bound to respond to her son's letter.
After being given the letter, Banderas told Arthur to look after Maria and the young boy nodded in understanding, though, he was a bit surprised that Maria was in the forest with Banderas as he began to walk away while Banderas opened up the letter and he began to read it.
To my wonderful son
I am worried about you having this affair with Maria and I hope that things go well as it is clear, what you said, that Albert will feel betrayed if he finds this out which will, most definitely, lead to the end of your friendship with him, something that will bring pain to the both of you.
Marrying Maria, especially in secret, is going to be a slap in the face to Albert and having children with Maria will only make it worse as it will bring more turmoil to their kingdom, but, if this is what you really want, then, although I am reluctant, I will support your relationship with Maria.
I have heard the news of Haredi's invasion and I am scared for you, my son, because I don't know if you are going to survive this or not as your death will bring me pain, especially with the knowledge that your brother will have to become King if you do end up dying, that suggestion haunts me.
I forgive you, my son, though I hope that you will learn from this experience and that the experience will make you a better person as you will need to try to understand what other people are going through as well as being able to relate to them, they will look to you for help and guidence.

Banderas felt tears forming in his eyes and those tears are a mixture of happiness as well as sadness with happiness at the fact that his mother accepts his relationship with Maria while sadness at the fact that he had risked his friendship with Albert for his love with Maria and he knew that he only has himself to blame.
He decided to deal with his sorrow by writing a book and he was just halfway through in terms of writing the book when he began to continue to write the book as he added in new details and he wrote for a few minutes before he had another break as he went back to Maria and he snuggled with her as he went back to sleep.
Arthur, himself, was feeling down as he knew that Albert isn't going to like the affair that Banderas is having with Maria, though it was clear that Arthur didn't feel confident enough to even considered telling Albert as he has heard about Albert's temper, especially when it reached breaking point.
