The blaring sound of Elise's alarm causes her to groan and reach out from under her covers to shut of the annoying clock. Once the alarm is turned off, Elise yawns and removes the covers to expose her sweaty and oily face. Her hand rubs over her eyes, the other further removing the blanket.

"God," Elise groans under her hand.

She hunches over at the edge of her bed, her hands covering the majority of her face. Elise almost falls asleep, but a knock brings her back.

"Hello?" Elise shouts as she reaches for her mask, putting it on backwards. "Ah, shit."

No answer.

"Hello?!" Elise says louder.

Still no answer.

As soon as she gets her mask on properly, she gets up and glances back at the clock, the blurry red numbers displaying the time. With squinted eyes, Elise reads 5:00 am.

With a sigh she opens the door. Nobody is there. She peeks her head out and looks both ways. Still nothing. She takes a couple steps out of the doorway and calls out once again.

"Hello?"

No response, other than the echo of her voice.

"Very funny Scout!" Elise yells as she goes back into her room, slamming the door shut. "What a dumbass."

Suddenly, Elise feels a draft on her left. She stops her movements, and pats her pockets, searching for her weapons. Nothing. They're on the nightstand. Elise turns her head slightly to the left, looking for a figure.

"Who's there?" Elise whispers.

Then, darkness. A small potato sack is wrapped around her head.

"Hey! Take this off, right now!" Elise demands. She struggles in the grip of the enemy, and tries to get a grip of its hands. "Don't make me hurt you!"

With as much strength as she can muster, Elise elbows the person behind her. She hears a grunt and a curse; a French curse.

"Spy! I know it's you! Stop right now!"

Something blunt hits her head, and she's knocked out easily.

"Wake up," a faint voice says in the distance. "Wake up, Spy."

Elise mumbles something, but doesn't wake up.

"Wake up, you bitch," Spy says. He takes out his gun and shoots at the floor right beside Elise's foot.

She jolts out of sleep and screams. Elise can't see anything; a blindfold on her eyes.

"What is this?!" Elise panics as she tries to escape. But she's trapped. Bound to a chair by her hands and feet. She struggles to move. "Spy! Get me out of this!"

"You're new, that's for sure." Spy growls.

Something cold glides across Elise's neck. She starts to tremble, but holds it in. His breath his hot against her ear, his voice sounding like silk.

"What are you going to do?"

The knife changes route and starts to trail down her front. Stopping between her cleavage. Thankfully, she is still fully clothed, and especially, her face is covered.

"Do you want me to stop?" Spy whispers in her ear.

"Stop." Elise says between clenched teeth.

She can hear him smirk from behind her. The knife travels back up to her neck, curves around her chin, then up the bridge of her nose. It goes under her blindfold, cutting it off. She's blinded by the light, although it's not that bright. Footsteps come from behind her, then in front of her. But the Spy she sees, is not the one she knows. This one is in blue, not red. Elise is in the same training room, but the man in front of her is different.

Elise's heart stops. She thought this was all a game, but it's actually real and serious.

"You thought I was your Spy?" the Spy in blue says. "Would he treat you like that?"

"Get me out of this. My team is going to find you, and kill you!" Elise cries out in anger. She skillfully hides her fear. "You're a wimp. Tying me up like this and not putting up a fight!"

The Spy smiles and walks behind Elise again, putting the sharp blade against her neck. He laughs evilly, not noticing Elise's sobs. He keeps the blade at her neck and walks in front of Elise. Her head is down. With the knife, the Spy forces her head up, exposing her red and teary eyes.

"Oh," he says. "Okay, okay, stop. No more," he says as he flips the knife closed. He takes out a cigarette case and presses a button. After a couple of seconds and a small cloud of red smoke, the RED Spy appears in front of her. He jogs over to the back of the chair, untying the ropes from Elise's hands and legs.

As soon as she feels the tension loosen she drops to her knees, curls into a ball, and starts crying. A strong framed body wraps around her, and a voice trying to calm her.

"No, no, no, please stop. I'm sorry, it's me. It's Spy."

Elise starts to bawl, curling into the Spy's chest. She secretly takes the knife from Spy's coat and opens it, placing it right on his neck. He falls onto his back, his hands up, and Elise on top of him. Her face is red and wet from the tears, but her expression is changed. Anger.

"What's wrong with you?!" Elise cries out as she pushes the knife further into his masked skin. "You just want to see me suffer don't you?!"

"Spy, stop!" Spy commands as he pushes Elise's arms off of his neck. "It was a test!"

"Fuck you! You're crazy!" Elise throws the knife at his chest. "I'm done with you."

Elise stomps off to the door, opening it forcefully and leaving Spy on the ground.

"Such an asshole," Elise mumbles to herself. "Who the hell does he think he is? Kidnapping me and scaring the living hell out of me?"

"Uh, Spy?" Sniper speaks up.

Elise looks at him, on a chair at the kitchen table with a coffee. He takes his glasses off and puts them at the top of his hat.

"You alright?"

Without evening knowing where she was going, Elise ended up in the war room.

"No, I'm not alright." Elise pulls out a chair and sits down in front of Sniper. "What is wrong with Spy? Why is he so messed up?"

"Uh-oh, what happened?" Sniper looks genuinely concerned and crosses his arms on the table. "Are you alright? You looked like you were crying."

"Is there somewhere we can go that's more private?" Elise gets up and waits for Sniper.

Picking up his coffee, he leads the way out of the war room. With his long legs, he strides easily in front of Elise. Her feet strain from trying to keep up. They wind through the halls and end up at double doors. Elise stops

"Are you coming?" Sniper asks as he opens the door.

"A door," Elise's mouth gapes. "To the outside?"

"No, to another dimension." Sniper grins. "C'mon."

Elise takes baby steps when she sees the sun seep through the open door. With bright rays that she hasn't seen for a couple days, the sun blinds Elise. But she doesn't care. She loves it!

"Wow, I haven't been outside for a long time."

"Well, today's your lucky day. Let's go, my van's just around the corner," Sniper says.

Just as he said, Sniper's van is there. Elise looks up at his face, which is red.

"It's not much..." he trails off. "Laugh all you want, Spy. Your male counterpart does it all the time." Sniper grunts and heads straight for his van.

"Why would I laugh?" Elise asks as she watches Snipers butt move as he climbs the ladder on the side of his camper. "I think it's pretty cool."

"Whatever, here," Sniper gives her his hand. "Climb up."

As soon as she's up, she looks into the view of the dusty landscape. Red sanded mountains appear small in the distance, and the sky is blue and bright. Heat waves surround Elise and Sniper.

"It's hot." Elise point out.

"Of course it is. We're in the middle of a desert."

"Great." Elise sits down on the hot metal roof. "Ow," Elise hisses.

"Here," Sniper gets off his faded garden chair and offers it to Elise. Once Elise is seated, Sniper crouches and then sits down cross legged. "So, you were saying something about Spy?"

Then, anger washes over Elise again. "Yes, the Spy is a dumb ass! You know what he did this morning? He kidnapped me from my own room, dressed up as an enemy, and threatened to kill me!" Elise's arms flail around, adding emphasis to her story. "He took his knife and almost slit my throat!"

The chair flies back as Elise gets up, and starts to pace. "I mean, what kind of trainer would pretend to kill you? Yeah, sure, it's a test, but don't actually sell it like that! I was genuinely scared!"

Elise flings her arms back and ends up losing balance. Sniper drops his coffee and gets up, but not in time. Elise loses her footing and falls off the edge of the van. "Sniper!"

Arms catch Elise before she falls to the loose and sandy ground. She opens her eyes and sees Spy with a serious expression on his face.

"You could've got hurt," Spy says.

"I know. You would've wanted that to happen, wouldn't you?" Elise says as she jumps out of Spy's arms and walks into the building, escaping the sun and heat.

Spy looks up at Sniper who just stares back. He takes his aviators off his hat and places it on his face, unfolding the chair and sitting down, facing away from Spy.

With one last sigh, Spy goes after Elise.

"Spy!" Spy calls out. He can see Elise, but she's a good thirty feet away from him. "Please, let me explain."

She rounds the corner and is gone.

"Spy!"

"Spy," Medic addresses before Spy can break into a full sprint. "Are you alright?"

"Yes, doctor. Please, I must get going."

"Where?"

"To train Elise," Spy responds with a frown. "What else?"

"Why must you run? You've got the whole day to train her."

"Medic, please, do not criticize how I want to train her."

"I don't understand how running after her is going to help her train," Medic says with a smug look.

"Stay out of this." Spy dismisses and starts to run.

Medic narrows his eyes and follows; walking, not running.

Spy waits on the other side of the training room door. He can hear Elise grunt and shoot her gun. He can hear the thumps of her footsteps and the metal clashing from her knife. Finally, he opens the door, and Elise is gone.

"Spy, I know you're in here. Do not attack me." Spy says calmly.

Elise uncloaks behind Spy and tackles him down. Spy falls with a low grunt, belly down. Elise cocks her gun and aims it at Spy's head.

"Spy, please," Spy begs with no emotion. He flips his position, back now on the ground. Elise straddles him and pushes his head hard to the floor with the barrel of the gun.

"Do you want me to kill you? Huh? You just want me to kill you if you're coming back for me," Elise grits her teeth.

Spy tries to smack the gun away from Elise, but she's smarter than that.

"You still think I'm a rookie? I know all your moves by now you bastard."

Spy picks Elise up from her waist and slams her down to the ground, her head making contact with the cold cement. "Ow!" she exclaims and releases the gun. Spy kicks it away and holds her neck.

"I could kill you right now," he says with a smirk.

Now Spy is on top of Elise, knees on both sides of her hips. Elise lifts her knee, but Spy knows this move. He puts a hand under his crotch and protects his manhood.

"Nice try, darling."

With loss in leverage, Elise takes Spy's elbow and bends it, making him lean to one side. She lifts her leg and pushes him behind her head. Elise rolls onto her stomach and gets up, jumping when Spy tries to take out her footing. Spy also gets up and prepares himself for Elise's attack. She throws a jab, blocked by Spy, but then punches him in the chest with her other hand. Spy tenses and absorbs the punch, but it still injures him. Elise takes this chance and tackles Spy. He falls onto his back and covers his face when Elise starts to throw punches.

"I only wanted to test you!" Spy says from under his hands.

When Elise pauses, he grabs onto her wrists, switching their positions.

"I told you to control your emotions too! So I assumed that you would've used that when I brought you here!"

Elise punches his stomach and rolls over; Spy once again on the bottom.

"Screw you Spy! You don't know what I had to deal with before this! What you did was a trigger, and I couldn't help to become emotional!"

Elise clasps her hands around his thick neck and squeezes her fingers tightly. He starts to make gargling sounds as Spy claws at her hands. Spy kicks his legs up for momentum and rolls both of them backwards. With her hands still around his neck, Spy is now on top, gripping at Elise's hands, squeezing hard and cutting off the circulation.

Not being able to take the pain in her wrists anymore, Elise lets go. Spy puts both of her hands far at her sides, putting all his weight on her wrists. Elise holds in her scream of pain, and glares at Spy.

"I'm sorry," Spy growls. "I didn't mean to trigger anything."

Elise thinks about kneeing Spy again, but as if he can read her mind, he puts his legs on hers. With a sigh of frustration, Elise gives up and just lays there.

"I'm sorry." Spy repeats.

Elise doesn't respond. Spy sighs.

"Spy, please. I'm sorry for what I did. I thought that you were ready for it," Spy looks into Elise's eyes.

Elise's eyes go soft. She breaks the contact and looks to her right and starts to laugh.

"I fucking hate you Spy," she says. "You know, you can get off me now if we're done here. But I swear, if you try to do something like that again," Elise looks back up at Spy, who looks at her with a soft expression. "I'll kill you. And this time, I mean-"

Spy leans down and roughly places his lips on Elise. Her eyes go wide and her legs start to have a spasm. She closes her eyes tightly as she tries to free any limb. But Spy's too strong.

He turns his head and kisses Elise more roughly. He licks her bottom lip. Elise shakes her head, attempting to unlock their lips. Spy stops, pulling back and clenching his jaw.

"Spy, get off!" Elise screams.

He doesn't. He presses down harder onto her wrists, the pain too great. Spy goes down again, kissing her neck.

"I said..." Elise moans as Spy bites down on her sensitive spot. "Stop... Spy!"

He won't listen. He keeps going. Spy smiles when he hears Elise's breath start to speed up, and her pulse starts to quicken. He goes over her pulse, grazing it with his teeth. He bites down.

"Spy!" Elise moans. "No! Get off!" she begs.

"Shut up," Spy demands as he locks their lips again. He expertly kisses Elise, with force, not tenderness.

Elise whines in his mouth, but he doesn't care. He glides his slick tongue across her bottom lip again, and when she doesn't open up to him, he bites down on her lip, pulling it open and exploring the inside depths of her mouth. He plays with her tongue, dancing to a fast paced tango.

Suddenly Spy is lifted up from Elise, and without anyone knowing, she's secretly upset. But when she sees Spy being pushed away by Medic, she starts to get worried.

"What do you think you're doing?" Medic questions as he holds Spy by the lapels. "I thought you followed by the rules!"

Spy doesn't answer, he just glares at the Medic.

"You're going to get yourself in trouble! The Administrator was probably watching you the whole time!" Medic informs as he gets close to Spy's face.

After hearing what Medic said, Elise looks around the room, looking for cameras.

"Oh and you're not afraid of getting in trouble?" Spy counters.

"What are you talking about?!" Medic defends.

Spy pushes Medic away, and straightens out his suit. "I know what you two have." Spy points a finger between Elise and Medic.

"Y-you are mistaken," Medic says pathetically.

"Oh, don't act so innocent!" Spy shouts. "I've seen the way you two look at each other."

"Spy, drop it." Elise gets up; face flushed and lips chapped.

"No, Spy, I won't. Look at what you're doing to this team, you're breaking it apart." Spy points at her. "Look what's happening."

"Spy, stop. She has nothing to do about this," Medic interferes. He goes in front of Elise to protect her from Spy. "I'm the one at fault. I shouldn't have kissed her, I know."

"Whatever," Spy rolls his eyes and pinches the bridge of his nose, sighing in frustration. "So, now what? What is to be done?"

Both Medic and Spy turn to Elise, who's just as confused as they are.

"What?" Elise says. "Me? Breaking up the team? No, it's only you two. I have nothing to do with this," Elise stutters.

"Spy," Medic says to the male. "Let's just all pretend nothing happened."

With a deep breath, Spy says, "Fine. I apologize Elise, I shouldn't have done that." He shakes his head and heads for the door.

"Wait, no training?" Elise says.

"Training is over. That fight was more than enough," Spy says as he leaves the room.

Elise is still standing, looking at the door. A large hand grips onto her shoulder, she shrugs it off and leaves as well. Medic just stays there with a worried look, and after several moments of silence, he leaves as well.
