Hello everyone, I have finally finished Chapter 8. I've written it during my own exam period which cause my result to be GGWP-ed (^^)V. Also, I have finalized the story line of this fanfic and also the sequel. And there are two news I have to announce.

Firstly, I'm proud to announce that my upcoming sequel will be some sort of collab with The coming of BlackWhite one by Asharoth. Big shoutout to Asharoth for featuring my OCs in the fanfic.

Second, the next chapter of this fanfic will probably take sometime as with nearly all the chapters. The development cycle for the chapter is usually every month as I have to work and study at the same time.

Now, for the sequel it will something very different. It will be more wizard centric, I hope you guys will still support my story when it gets started.

Chapter 9: The Movement

1 day before the assault: London, Wizard's hospital

Wescott was away from London when Ellen was grievously hurt by Arashi. He cares for her well being as she is his right-hand woman and also the world's strongest wizard. Her defeat is not a little surprise but also reveals a shocking news, the identity of both Reverser and Assailant.

"Hello Mr Wescott, visiting Ms Marthers today?"

"Yeah."

"Well, this way please."

Wescott is being brought to Ellen's ward. He can't help to recall the last message Ellen sent to him.

"Nanaya still exists…"

"...Nanaya... The terrorists who assassinated the head of offices worldwide, and the presidents, ministers of defence globally… So we have been fighting the lasts Nanaya for years now? Interesting…"

Wescott enters the ward and sees the beautiful girl sitting on her bed. She seems to be delighted to see Wescott, but at the same time she feel a sense of guilt.

"Isaac… I've failed, I'm sorry." she apologized.

"It's okay… How are you doing?"

"Fine, they still hurt a bit though."

As soon as he knows she is fine, he immediately asks Ellen about Nanaya.

"Now, I need to know how did he ended up in this state. If you have not heard about it, he single handedly killed almost every wizards of AST, and leveled Osaka into a flat-piece of wasteland."

"...Reverser chanted something, at first she was telling Itsuka Shido that she is Nanaya, but I didn't believe it. Until she chanted at Assailant, at an instant, his spirit powers increased, he then revealed himself as a clan member of Nanaya. I'm pretty sure he is, just like what they were 15 years ago, territory is practically useless against him. He possesses the same power like his clan members."

"I see…"

"And also, Isaac, do you still remember the last time we encountered a male Spirit?" she added.

"Yes, only 3 out of the 30 years when they appeared. The first was ripped apart before we even got there, his crystal is missing as well. And the second, he committed suicide."

"I can still remember his laughter, he was smiling at us while pointing a knife at his chest and impaled himself. The next thing we knew was a manifestation of a devil. First in the Spirits' case, it was they who cleaned up and a kid just killed the male Spirit in just 1 strike. And now, the third, Assailant himself, who had inverted many times into a devil."

Piecing the pieces up together, Wescott realizes the common thing about the male Spirits.

"I guess it is a male Spirit's nature to manifest a devil..."

"It seems so..."she agreed.

"Oh Ellen, I'm sorry to disappoint you that Assailant is officially dead."

"What do you mean Isaac?"

She is puzzled by what her boss means, as she remembers her adversary is still alive and kicking.

"From the last recorded messages from the dead AST wizards, he declared himself as the Ripper. His behavior is a total 180 degree turn. And so, the Assailant we knew is dead, he is now the real manifestation of Jack the Ripper. Not to mention that killing Reverser has driven him to the brink to inversion, he inverted in Osaka and probably killed the Spirits as well."

"So, just like one of his aliases… The next time we meet I'll kill him."

"Ease yourself Ellen, you're not recovered yet. Not to mention he is a Nanaya, not even Adeptus Zero's team stood a chance against the assassins.

"But…"

"Now… my sweetie, just rest well okay?"

"Fine…"

"I got to go now, see you."

"See you."

DEM Industry Office Meeting Hall

Within the large complex of DEM Industry Office is the big meeting hall where all the directors gather to meet. Today their topic is about Wescott who had caused the mass destruction of Osaka.

"Just what the hell were you thinking, Wescott? Adeptus 1 killed Reverser, but resulting Assailant. Erm sorry, Ripper to invert and destroyed Osaka. And also, our wizards were there dispatched under your command! Now, Assailant is revealed to be Nanaya!"

The word 'Nanaya' sends ripples among the board of directors as they know very well when their first encounter with the clan, a total massacre of all DEM wizards.

"I was just trying to get the situation under control."

"Under control? Or you're just experimenting his capabilities at the expense of your people and even Adeptus 1, your right-hand woman?"

Wescott is now driven to a corner. He is very unpopular to begin with, it will be a very different story if Ellen is with him now. With just a quick twist of mind, he came up with an answer.

"Well everyone, Assailant can be dealt with as he is the only Nanaya left. I know how to and I know about Nanaya's enemies, we can enlist their help."

Though the boards are reluctant to let him go off, but Wescott's answer is somewhat convincing enough.

"Alright... Wescott, you better handle this properly. Or else we will vote to get you out of the company."

"Rest assured, everyone."

After everyone got out to the meeting hall

*sigh*

Wescott gives a sigh as things are now against his odds. He wants to harness Arashi's natural form, but the odds of himself surviving from the young man is slim. He only knows about the clan's fate of massacre. Who did it and why is unknown to him. Just as he brainstorms his ways, a staff approaches him.

"Mr Wescott, someone wants me to pass you this letter."

"Thank you."

Wescott returns to his office and opens up the letter, to his surprise, his bluff has turned out to be a bluff that works.

The Letter:

Hello Mr Wescott,

I know what you are up against and your difficulties. We share the common goal aren't we? I know that your goal is not to protect the world, and just like us.

That Nanaya is our common enemy, I know his weakness. Meet me at the Ivory Bar at 10pm , one of the board of directors is my man. When you see him, just say the passphrase: Ebony Sunder. And from that on, we will meet.

If you are really coming, I would like that your right-hand woman and some of your most elite wizards to come with their CR-Unit. I possess the info on how to defeat him in combat, and I can show you my organization's capabilities.

Head of Seven Daylight

"Now this is interesting…"

He immediately calls the hospital.

"Hello, Mr Wescott. How can I help you?"

"I would like to speak with Ellen, is it possible?"

"Sure, please wait."

Within a short while, Ellen picks up the phone.

"Isaac?"

"Ellen, I might have to pull you off from your rest. I got a very valuable information on the Ripper. The source of intel wants to see you and some of our most elite wizards. Is it possible?"

Without a second thought, Ellen agreed.

"Sure Isaac, I'll pack my stuffs straight away."

"Are you sure? I don't necessary need you to come though."

"I don't need more rests as I want to kill the Ripper!"

"Alright. I'll pick you up later."

After the phone call ended, Wescott smiles silently.

"You're finished, Nanaya…"

10pm: Ivory Bar

Wescott comes out of his car along with Ellen and 4 other wizards and enter the bar. It was so dimly lit that Isaac can barely identify any of the directors.

"Are you sure this is not a prank letter?"

"We can't let go any of the info you know?..."

With a few more scans, Wescott finally finds the director. He looks young to be a director, almost as young as Wescott himself. His short and ash blonde hair and a pair of green eyes reveals his identity.

"Jays Gray?"

He leads the ladies towards Jays. At the same time Jays is looking at them.

"Hello Mr Wescott, come for a drink?"

"Mr Gray... Ebony Sunder..."

Once he hears that, he immediately drops his act.

"Follow me..."

Gray leads everyone to the back of the bar and they enter a door. Behind it is a descending gray hallway. It is dim and the silence in the hallway causes the wizards to tense up.

At the end of hallway, there is another door. As Gray opens the door and they enter it, the room is a big hall.

The hall has people whose faces are covered with black gaiters and they are wearing a black hood with an image of sun etched onto the back. There are weapon racks with wooden weapons. It seems that it is a large dojo, albeit without the wooden floors or walls.

"Hail Lord Nanoka."

As Gray kneels down, Wescott and the ladies look at where he was facing. He is facing the dim side of the hall. From it, emerged more people with black hood and gaiter. There is a person remains in shadow, they can see his silhouette, and he speaks.

"You've done well, Gray. Please stand."

"Thank you."

As Gray stands back up, the person in shadow speaks again.

"Hello, Mr Wescott, Ms Marthers. Welcome."

Ellen seems to be unconvinced and started to ask Gray.

"Mr Gray, I hope you are not bringing us to see some people dressed up to be like a ninja."

Upon hearing that, the man in shadow speaks again.

"Relax Ms Marthers. I know who defeated you, and I know how to defeat him."

"You…"

Before Ellen can counter, Wescott stops her.

"I'm sorry about that. Now, I'm interested in your organization. Nanoka, the seven daylights… I suppose you're a Japanese and your organization is the opposite of Nanaya, the seven nights. And you're a high schooler…"

The man in shadow claps and started to talk.

"Impressive, Mr Wescott…"

"I hope this is not a prank…"

"This is not, I don't go to school, they don't teach what I learn, that is to kill."

Wescott seems to be intrigued, but Ellen is tensed as she is disturbed by the young man.

"Why should we trust you? You are just a kid."

"Just a kid you say? I have killed many wizards before… My clan called me and my partner Jack the Rippers."

"Your clan? You mean..."

The word Ripper is piecing up everything in Ellen's mind. She can't believe that the person is that she is talking to belongs to the clan.

"Yes… I was a Nanaya. Now I am Nanoka."

"One of the last Nanaya… I guess this is no prank at all eh?"

"Mr Wescott, I know you are finalizing a new CR-Unit for Ms Marthers. And the direction you are heading is correct. Making the diamond dusts capable of operating outside of the territory is very crucial."

Both of them are intrigued that the young man seems to really know what he is talking about.

"When fighting a Nanaya, never ever let them get close at all…"

It makes sense to them as they have carefully analyzed both Arashi and Yuki's combat data. Now Wescott questions the young man.

"I wonder what does your organization do? And why are you helping us?"

"We are Spirit hunters. Unlike Nanaya, who are Spirit guardians."

To further clarify their doubt, Ellen asks the young man again.

"Then the crystals?"

"We use them to amplify our powers."

"Power?"

"Let me show you…"

The men in hood summons their swords from air, it is covered in undecipherable wordings. The sighting disturbs everyone.

"What!?"

Ellen and the rests of the girls transformed into their CR-Unit after they see it. From what they see, it is Spirit's powers.

"Relax ladies. We're no Spirits."

At a snap of his fingers, the shadow gathers and bursts into a hellish blast on a ground. Leaving Ellen stunned as she recognize the attack.

"As you may have thought, I have the same power as my partner."

Wescott claps his hands as he gets to see something that is spectacular to him.

"Good… Good… What a magnificent organization you have here. Mr Nanoka…"

"You too, Mr Wescott… Now, regarding that Nanaya, he'll be going to the site where the first spacequake struck 30 years ago."

"Hmmm?"

"He aims to stop you, and upcoming event in next week will allow him to do so. Not only you will lose your life, the Spirits will be not able to invert if he succeed."

"Any idea on how will he do it?"

"He will kill himself, sacrificing his own abilities to bring back the lives of all Nanaya to this world. By then, Nanaya will be back in full strength with their powers. Not only my organization will be at risk, everyone in DEM will be killed without any mercy. We have to work together to kill him. "

After a moment of pausing, Wescott answered.

"I get it now, and I would love to have your help. But killing him is a waste, I want to harness his power."

"It is possible… But since we are in business, I want my men to be equipped with your mass produced CR-Unit. Preferably those that are light and very agile, training will not be a concern as all we need is a defense territory and they don't have to be flight capable."

Without a second thought, Wescott agreed.

"Alright, it is a deal then."

"Good… Happy doing business with you, Mr Wescott. Now, I would like to have my men to demonstrate on Nanaya's combat skills to your wizards."

Wescott looks at Ellen, and she knows she has the call.

"Alright, bring it on."

5 man walk towards them, it is a one on one.

"Guys, no using of power, weapons, grapple or throws. Wooden weapons are allowed, when your weapon physically touch your opponent's neck or chest, or you managed to push them to the ground, you win. As for the wizards, you can use your lethal weapons. My men whom I have trained personally deserve to die if they can't defeat you."

The men draws their wooden sword and they shouted in unison.

"YES! MY LORD!"

This is an outright underestimation from Nanoka. It enrages the wizards as they know that they are among the best wizards from all over the world.

"What? Are you underestimating us?"

Wescott immediately eases the situation.

"Calm down ladies. Mr Nanoka, I advise you to rethink your decision."

"Nope, you can kill them."

Ellen draws her laser blade and points at Nanoka.

"I would like to face you, if you claim to be a Nanaya, then you must have been very strong."

"Well… I guess I'll have to please the lady then…"

As the he tries to walk out of the shadow, his man passes him a gaiter.

"My lord, your mask."

But he rejects it by pushing it away.

"I don't need it."

He emerges from the shadow, revealing his face. He looks like a high school student, with a some what muscular body, his hair is in black at it is being brushed down, parted with bangs in front of his left eye and with a pair of sapphire blue eyes. He is attractive, but Ellen could feel the dangerous aura behind his smile. His man passes him the wooden knife and retreats.

"So Ms Marthers, is there anything else?"

"You may continue."

"Alright… Are you ready?"

Everyone raises their weapon and prepare for the clash.

"GO!"

The hunters' eyes glow in blood red and dive low into the wizards' blindspot. The wizards immediately form up and checks each other's blind spots.

"They're fast!" Ellen exclaimed.

"Incoming!"

A hunter sprints towards a wizard, she raises her laser blade trying to hack down the hunter. But to her surprise. The hunter suddenly sprints so fast that he immediately disarms the wizard's both of her laser blades and with a press between the ear and the end of the jawline, the wizard is forced to the ground as the excruciating pain from the pressure point is unbearable. Not even having enough time to use her territory.

"...!"

"You shouldn't be distracted..."

Nanoka swings this weapon at Ellen, prompting her to swing her sword, trying to cut him off. But the very moment she swings it, Nanoka disappeared.

Ellen looks around as her wizards lose to the hunters being disarmed or pushed to the ground. Nanoka appears again.

"It is only us now... It is a pleasure to face the world's strongest wizard..."

"Your welcome..."

Nanoka smiled and he throws his wooden blade at Ellen. Recognizing that it is the same attack from Arashi, she swings her blade upwards to anticipate the attack. But the voice from the young man shocks her.

"It's over now..."

She realizes that the wooden blade is touching her neck. She is stunned to know that he is at her back.

"You have to check your blind spots. Both he and me had ripped off many people's head because of that."

"You..."

It is a total defeat of the wizards. The hunters finished them in just less than 1 minute. They break off and form up.

"Thank you for your time!"

The hunters bow at the wizards, which shocks them.

"It is a good fight."

Nanoka reaches out his hand to Ellen, she is reluctant to do the same as she refuses to admit defeat. But out of the respect of the cooperation. She reaches her hand out and they shake each other's hand.

Wescott claps his hands, and addresses to the wizards.

"You have done well ladies."

"Sorry Mr Wescott."

"It is okay..."

The wizards transform back to their normal clothing with a guilty look. Wescott now talks to Nanoka

"Now Mr Nanoka, I look forward to have you in our operation."

"I look forward to it as well. When the time comes, I will contact you again."

The two shake hands again. Now Nanoka sends the group away out to the bar. Wescott's chauffeur is ready and drives them away from the bar. With that, the young man returns to the hall. The hunters along with Gray stand firmly as he returns.

"Lord Nanoka, what are your plans." Gray asks.

"Everyone, if we can take them by surprise, we will rule the world. After Nanaya, wizards are the world's largest defence force... They can't kill Arashi, with him possessing the eyes and the fact that Lord Amon is inside him."

"So what are we suppose to do?" one them asks.

"My men, you have to aid the wizards should they clash with Arashi. And when hell invades, kill them at my signal. And now Gray, should the Spirits appear and Yuki managed to pull out his soulstone, you have to insert the soulstone into yourself."

"My lord, what about you?" Gray asks again.

"I have to tend to my own lord. You can go now."

As the hunters go, Nanoka receives a telepathic message.

"My lord, Lord Nobuhiko has been killed by Nanaya Arashi. Satsujinki was unleashed to kill him."

Receiving this news, he seems to be delighted rather than saddened.

"...His sacrifice will not be at vain. Tell your men that they are now under my command..."

"Yes, my lord."

He doesn't show any sadness of the loss of his ally as he stealthily smiled.

"Arashi. That side of you still exists... Nobuhiko, this is the price you have to pay for what you have done to us..."

1 hour after the assault: In the dark world

"Huh..."

Arashi opens his eyes, all he can see is darkness.

"Am I dead?..."

"Not yet!"

He hears another voice, a voice that is similar to his own. He gets up immediately and sees a young man who looks exactly like himself. Albeit his astral suit is streaked in red.

"So, still alive and kicking..."

He is Satsujinki, Arashi's alternate persona.

"Where am I?" Arashi asks.

"Between life... and death..." Satsujinki answered.

"What?... Kaguya... Itsuka..."

"I really wonder, why do you hate me so much?"

Satsujinki asks playfully, enraging Arashi who answers the question with what he always believed.

"You take so many innocent lives... Torture people to death, you forced me to listen to their voices... And also you are why I got targeted in the first place!"

"Then the lives of those cultists? Admit it, from the day you witnessed a Spirit's death, you started using me. You called your actions just, but at the same time you enjoyed taking lives..."

"Shut up! We already have so much power, the moment I use Harvester, you keep crying for power!"

"Oh is it? Then let's summon our angel!"

"There's no point... Nevermore is my fallen angel and he is Azrael's transformation!"

"You really believe that lie? Try summon your angel without calling his name!"

The two young men close their eyes and summons their angels. At a moment, they can feel their angel at their hand. They open up their eyes, the sighting shocks Arashi as the ethereal blade is in his hand.

"What? Why?"

Their angel also manifests on top of them. With the fiendish fallen angel on Satsujinki and the spectral angel of death on Arashi.

"You were born with both the power of darkness and death, just like how Azreal is now! And yet you reject it even after you use it to protect your loved ones."

"I… You were crying for souls even after I killed so many of them!"

Dark tendril wings start to appear from Satsujinki's back and it shrouds him into a burning core. It erupts into Nevermore the Shadow Fiend.

"I wanted more power… because you have been using it to protect Mum, Dad and Yuki! Azrael's soul combines with your power to form Nevermore. You are rejecting the fact that he needs more souls to be powerful. This is the same for you, you wanted power, but at the same time denying the way to get it. Because of that, Amon is consuming me. All will die because of your own decision! Which is why you can never unleash Harvester."

Arashi is shocked by the revelations. He starts to have doubts on his own knowledge of his dark self.

"...Just what are you?..."

"I am neither an angel nor a devil. I am your inverse, your power... Which is why I can use Nevermore fully as I am the darkness!"

"...!"

Arashi is surprised that he is combating his own powers from the beginning

"Azrael and I are now one, but you are the one that is breaking us apart. Without the souls, we can't fight, we don't have the power. It is your own fault that Amon is consuming us! Now... think carefully... being condemned by a Spirit is hard, especially she is our love..."

He is rendered speechless as he cannot accept the fact.

"I..."

"Admit it... No matter how hard you resist it, you still like to kill... Accept you inner evil..."

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

The dark fiend now vanishes away from the dark world, leaving Arashi alone. Arashi's vision now fades into darkness suddenly as a sharp pain enters his head.

"AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Surgical Theater on Fraxinus

With the young man's top naked body on the bed. The doctor and his team are busy working on Arashi, trying to save him.

"The blood clotting agent isn't working! Even under the realizer, his wounds won't heal or even stop bleeding."

"Doc, this is the fifth bag of blood."

"Proceed the transfusion!"

Outside of surgical theater, Shido, Kaguya and Kotori are watching.

"Kotori, his spirit waves…"

On the screen, it shows the spirit waves is increasing in strength, but at the same time. His mana is disappearing very quickly. Kotori recognise this pattern and alerted the medical team.

"Everyone look out! His spirit waves is now in red alert. What is his status now doc?"

"Not good. His wound isn't clotting at all, his pulses are weak. If this continues, he might die."

The words are grim to Kaguya as her love one is now at the brink of death.

"NO! DOC! PLEASE SAVE HIM!"

"We'll do our best."

Suddenly, one of the staffs alerted them.

"Doc! Come here, there is a ruby like stone within his chest."

"What!?" everyone gasped.

The doctor relay the scene to Kotori, other than the bloody mess of Arashi's body, a long ruby like gemstone is indeed within his chest, piercing his beating heart.

"Is that a sephira crystal?" Shido asks.

Kotori's screen now display an X-Ray image of a person's chest, other than a few broken ribs, the center of the chest is also punctured by an unknown object. Comparing the X-Ray to Arashi's X-Ray taken before the surgery, Kotori now deduces correctly on how he died.

"Found it. The same thing that killed him 3 years ago."

"Huh?"

His autopsy report says that he was killed by a sharp object through his chest." Kotori explains to them.

Just as she is done talking, the doctor asks them.

"Did you guys hear that?" the doctor asks.

"Huh?"

"Something is speaking to us." the other staff says.

It surprises the three of them as none of them can hear anything, sensing something is not right, Kotori asks the team.

"What is it saying?"

"..."

There is a moment of silence in the theater, until the doctor says something.

"It is telling us to use the surgical knife to cut the stone."

"What?" Kotori asks in disbelief.

The medical team has seemingly enter into a state of trance. They continue to talk to Kotori.

"It is telling us to cut it, so that he can be saved."

Although it may seems to be an obvious lie to everyone, but with a life at stake, Kotori didn't think about much more to give the green light.

"Cut it."

"Yes."

The team now focus on cutting the stone out from his chest. Everyone is sweating very badly due to nervousness, as they attempt at seemingly the only way to save the young man. As the surgical knives are cleaned and a new bag of blood ready for transfusion. The doctor now aims his knife at the gemstone, his heart is beating very fast as it is at the heart. One wrong move will result in the death of Arashi.

Outside the theatre

Without warning, Shiizaki rushes in and reports to Kotori.

"Commander! Reverser's body is now missing!"

"WHAT!?" the two of them are stunned.

"The ice is still intact, she simply just vanished!"Shiizaki added.

Inside the theatre

In the mean time, the doctor cuts the gemstone, to his surprise, the gemstone is very soft as he effortlessly insert the knife into the gemstone. But this seems to be a bad mistake as the gemstone suddenly glows very brightly.

Outside the theater, the spirits waves indicator immediate got blown off by Arashi's spirit waves. Realizing that it is a big mistake, Kotori shouted.

"WATCH OUT!"

Arashi's arms are immediately covered in curse marks and his eyes are open glowing in blood red.

"ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH….."

Arashi seems to be in such a pain that even with anesthesia, it won't numb it. His shout suddenly shifts into a demonic cry. At the same time, seizures now rampant in Arashi's body.

"Seizure! Pin him down!" the doctor shouted.

But before they can, Arashi's body gets up with his hand armed with a surgical knife. The pain of his wound is seemingly numbed by him even with it bleeding. Seeing that, everyone in the theatre are backed into one corner as they face the dangerously armed man.

"UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"

With a roar, Arashi pounces at them. But suddenly, he is knocked back by an invisible being in midair. He gets back up, and he is standing looking at the staffs. But in his vision, he can see something else. In a puff of a black smoke, a girl with shoulder length black hair appears. Her eyes are in bright blue, she is armed with a black rapier and in a blue dress streak in grey-white and with knight's helm on her shoulders and long gloves. She is Nanaya Yuki, Arashi's sister.

"Yu….Yuki!?" Shido exclaimed as he believes she was dead.

"ABADDON!"

Arashi roared again and now pounces at Yuki. But without even faltering, she shouted.

"AZRAEL!"

In mid air, Arashi loses momentum immediately as another seizure strikes, he starts to speak with a demonic voice.

"Abaddon! Azrael! It is too late for you two to even protect them. Thanks to you, Nanaya Yuki, if only you had killed him back then, this wouldn't even happen!"

What he said shocks everyone, Yuki's eyes start to flood with tears as she hears it. Suddenly, Arashi's right eye now turns back into bright blue and he speaks again, but this time with a ghost like voice.

"Yuki! Now! Undo the death before his soul dies out!"

Yuki's sword pulsates with dark energy and blasts at Arashi.

"GET BACK TO THE SOULSTONE, AMON!"

"ARGH!"

The blast which is channeled by Yuki with nearly all of her mana seemingly knocks both the devil and the younger brother unconscious. With that, Yuki immediately rushes up to the downed Arashi.

"Hang in there, Abyssal-Reverse!"

With a shout, Arashi is now being shrouded in blue aura, his profusely bleeding wound now start to heal him. A dark aura dissipates from the wound, seeing this sign, Yuki proceeds the next step.

"Shadow Wave!"

The theatre's atmosphere has become freezing as Yuki now projects dark energies from the shadows towards Arashi. His wound starts to heal even faster and his pale look has now turn back into normal. With a short time, Arashi is completely healed, but he is still unconscious.

"Finally… I'm so sorry Arashi, I'm the one who land you into this state…"

She whispered while she cries, and she gets back up and looks at everyone.

"Everyone… I'm not a ghost. Please take Arashi to a proper place to rest, I'll explain later."

Everybody is stunned as the girl is supposed to be dead is now standing in front of them. Kotori addresses the team calmly.

"You heard her. Bring him to the box room."

"I'm following my brother!" Yuki requested

"Alright, we have many questions for you as well." Kotori replied.

"We're not dreaming, right?" Shido asks.

"Kaguya, head back to the room and get some rests. Arashi will be fine, we'll let you know when you can visit him."

Kaguya returns to her room reluctantly as she really want to be at Arashi's side. The team carries Arashi and leads Yuki to the box room, where a "quarantine" is usually takes place which allows the crew to monitor them. They put Arashi onto the bed and let Yuki to sit on a chair, with Shido and Kotori in front of her, ready to ask questions.

"I'm Itsuka Kotori, Shido's sister. Nice to meet you, Nanaya Yuki-san." she introduced herself.

"Go ahead with the questions, I'll answer for my brother."

"How did you leave that block of ice?"

"I control shadows, and I can teleport myself out of it."

"Then how you get back alive?"

"Thanks to Azrael, I managed to transfer my soul into Azrael himself. Our powers are greatly heightened during eclipse, my soul can leave and enter my body at will or controls others, while Arashi's allows him to realize the death on everything within his vision, but not on living things though. Just now was eclipse right before he was injured, if he used it he could have just destroyed the field and allow everyone to escape safely."

With the questions for her being answered, now they asks about Arashi.

"And Arashi back there, just what had happened to him? Also, who is Kyo?"

"...Let me tell you guys something… Arashi and me, we are not human since birth."

"What?"

"We are what they called psychics, a hybrid of human and spirits. I believe Arashi has told you about Nanaya, they wield spirit powers, which are the eyes. Our mother was a spirit, her angel was Abaddon and she controls darkness as well. The end result is us, who wield powers since birth, the power of shadows and the power of death. As for Kyo, he is our cousin, or adoptive brother I would say…"

"Adoptive brother?"

"Actually, my mum is a twin spirit."

The revelation shocks the two of them.

"Twin spirit? Like Kaguya and Yuzuru?"

"Yes. The other twin also controls shadow and she married to my uncle. But at the night of his birth, shortly after he is give the name Kyo, Nanoka attacked their house and killed his parents. My father managed to save him out, and thus my mother took care of him while conceiving us, treating him like their own child. He is a brother figure for both of us. We often played and trained together, displaying our mastery of powers behind close doors. Those are the good times indeed, but being Psychics, the price to pay is heavy for both of them.

Puzzled by what she said, Kotori asks her.

"The price to pay?"

"The other uncles who are slowly losing their eyes, they wanted to eliminate Nanoka and AST. With clan members worldwide slowly hunted down by Nanoka, the uncles wanted to use us. And this is when I come into play."

"They threatened Arashi and Kyo that they'll murder our parents and me if the two do not go with them. Or kill Arashi and take me away. Arashi made his choice to go with them to protect us."

"And he turned into that?"

"The thing is that to fight with those cultists, the whole clan has to do all those immoral things. They trained both Kyo and him to use their powers to kill, and imprisoned them in a jail made of mirror with them being hypnotized. The end result is that they have created a demon within Arashi and Kyo. The morally twisted personalities of both of them. If the personalities assumes both of them completely, they'll be killed by the uncles who have the eyes. They'll have to kill that personality to live a normal life. While they are trained by the uncles, I was trained by my parents. We never thought that the impact would be so big on both of them until I saw them taking the oath after a few years.

Their first mission was to protect a spirit when she manifests. But the result is that DEM captured both of them. When my family decided to rescue them out, we were shocked when we arrive the scene…

"What happened?"

"There are still wizards in the base, despite their pleas, Arashi ripped them into pieces. The two of them wasn't scared, that is when I realize they are not the same brothers I know of. They were laughing there are no sense of remorse within them. Until the two them woke up from it, it is then they learn to suppress that side of them."

It is shocking for them to learn the dark secret of Nanaya.

"Both of them have always dislike the clan, they were being seen nothing but tools. Our parents taught them on suppressing it. Kyo suppressed it the fastest but lost his eyes, and followed by Arashi. Eventually, the only one remaining person with the eyes is Arashi. However, when Kyo was marked with a marking dagger by Nobuhiko, the dark side resurfaced and become strong enough to consume Kyo completely. He managed to hide his inversion until the night of massacre which he marked Arashi and he got killed by Arashi as well. But the damage has been done, Satsujinki re-emerge and tried to consume Arashi. Sealing his memory will only save him and prevent the eyes from being used. And so we went into hiding…"

"And then they hunted you guys down 3 years ago…"

"Yes… This time, they used soulstone on Arashi, the Sin Lords wanted the eyes. But… I was told to kill him by Phantom… However, I can't do it… He sacrificed so much to protect our safety and I yet have to kill him, is just… And now… because I didn't kill him back then, the hell is going to invade our world. It is just cruel… I lost a brother, and my parents. I don't want to lose my only brother. If only I stronger, this won't even happened. Amon is right, I'm just too weak to keep everything intact."

With that, tears roll of her eyes as she laments on her inability. Shido saw that and begins to comfort her.

"Listen, you cannot trusts a devil's words."

"I am to be blamed for everything!" she added.

"Arashi never blamed you! He cares and loves you as you are also his only kin left. There is must be a way to save him from the devil."

"I don't know about it... From what I know, there isn't. All chosen vessels' fate is death, by committing suicide for those who are unwilling to become the vessel or to be killed by Nanaya for those volunteered. But when Phantom told us about someone who has multiple divine soul to save him. We kept looking for that person for 3 years and finally I saw your soul. I don't know how, but now it is only you can save him, you are his only friend." she told Shido.

"I don't know how..."

With question being asked and answered, Kotori decides it is time to leave the room.

"Alright, thank you for your cooperation. We'll be back. And these are his possessions."

Kotori puts a bag consists of his wallet, his ring necklace, and the razor sharp tanto like switchblade on the table.

"I'm very sorry for all the trouble that my brother has caused." she apologized.

"It's okay… Just be with him."

Just as Shido is about to leave, Yuki called him.

"Shido-san!"

As Shido looks at her, she started talking again.

"That blue-hair girl... I know how to save her."

What she said shocks Kotori who then asks her.

"You know how?"

"Yes. Please let us meet so that I can save her."

With that, Kotori is also delighted.

"Alright! Thank you."

After they leave, Yuki tends to Arashi while Kotori and Shido walk together. And Kaguya is waiting for them.

"Kotori, Shido, how is he?"

"He's fine now, you can visit him."

When she hears that, a smile forms into her face and she rushes in. Shido and Kotori continues to walk down the walkway to the bridge.

"You should be at Tohka's side. She should be awaken anytime soon."

"Okay, I'll catch ya later."

With that, Shido separates with Kotori and heads to Tohka's.

Arashi has 3 forms, normal, inverse and devil. Satsujinki is his inverse as he is created by Nanaya's training on Arashi. My theory of inverse is that they are manifestation of a Spirit's power with some sort of evil intent. This maybe wrong in the case of Tohka as she inverted because she was in despair of seeing Shido dying.

His devil form is the possession of Amon, the Lord of Wrath. In this form, the devil has almost absolute control over Arashi's body, which is why he attempted to kill the Spirits.
