Alright guys, we are at the final chapter! Finally, I never imagined I would spent 1 year writing this and I am quite happy. There is still an Epilogue coming very soon, stay tuned!

Final Chapter: Victory
With the destruction of Qliphoth, the crew of Ratatoskr and Yggdrasil rejoice. With the loss of Westcott and Ellen, DEM wizards are leaderless, and swiftly killed by the Hunters and the demons.
The battle between the human forces and the demons suddenly stopped. With the chants of demon and Hunters send chills to everyone. Yuki senses a strong evil presence from the direction of the downed ship.
"ALL HAIL LORD AMON!"
With that sense and the chant, she eyes widely in disbelief as she deduced Arashi has been possessed by Amon.
"Amon? Arashi... No!"
The demons fight fiercer with the wizards. The ghosts even have a harder time taking down the demons as their powers increase.
"What is this? They are even stronger now!"
The ghosts' weapons completely phases through demons without doing damage like the attempts before.
"It's useless, humans! We don't know what rise all of you, but it won't matter as our lord now have the power to destroy your world!"
Seeing this, the young man with the bright wings commanded.
"Focus on the fighting! You'll need to focus to strike them down!"
Origami heard that and facing a demon in front of her with her blade drawn. The demon only look at her, totally unthreatened. She focuses her strength onto the laser blade.
"Is useless you dead human, haven't you just tried?"
However, the demon is immediately killed as her laser blade hacks through the demon's head. Shocking all demons at the scene and the other ghosts as well.
"It… It works…"
Origami is surprised as she never expect the events. The appearance of the invisible angelic young man, bestowing powers to kill demons to protect Shido, only forcing her to ask the young man again.
"Just what the hell are you?"
The man just look at her looking irritated. Though his hood shadows his face, but his tone is a clear giveaway.
"...A dead man, believe it, or stop asking!"
Origami stops bugging the man, and starts to fight the demons. However, as the power increases in the demons, the wizards that are still alive are getting pushed, be it from SSS or AST, even Yggdrasil soldiers and wizards are struggling to keep demons at bay away from the Spirits.
"I… I can't intervene their fight yet… I am bound by fate!" the man muttered.
"Spirit signature detected... It's... No... His signature... Alert, Assailant has been possessed!"
The dark realm dispels, revealing the Lord of Wrath's avatar. With all demons all sent to combat wizards. Amon appears before the group.
"Finally... I have waited this for so long... 30 years, all of High Heaven's obstacles are cleared."
"Arashi! Wake up!"
"It's useless! His soul has been consumed along with Azrael. The powers that Nanaya so treasured, the power of Psychic, are finally mine! Behold, my new powers!"
Darkness engulfs Amon, Yuki can sense the souls within him and his powers. Knowing it will be tough to get her brother back.
"Come forth, my minions!"
Demons are summoned by the will of Lord of Wrath, which they engage the remaining wizards and forcing Ratatoskr ships to focus their attention on the demons. At the same time, Arashi wakes up in darkness, able to see what is going on, but he can't move.
"AZRAEL!"
The Angel of Death can hear his avatar's calling, and responds.
"Arashi! I can't move!"
"Neither can I! ARRRRRRGGGHHH!"
Arashi is in pain as the Lord of Wrath draws his darkness power. Through his blurred vision, he can see that Amon is about to attack the Spirits.
"RUN! LEAVE ME ALONE!"
His cries are useless, no one can hear his cries. Slowly he passes out.
"Is okay that my minions can't reach all of you, but all it matters is that I kill all Spirits. And the Hell will be victorious!"
Without warning, the Fallen Spirit immediately swings his swords, conjuring multiple dark waves towards the Spirits. They force both Spirits and Shido to break up.
"Zafkiel! Zayin!"
Kurumi immediately fires the bullet at Amon, but he conjures a shadow blade and intercepts the bullet which the bullet causes the blade to be frozen in place by time. Seizing this chance, Amon snaps his fingers. Kurumi knows what is going on and immediately runs, but it is too late as the blast of hellfire combine with Arashi's shadows are powerful enough that it consumes Kurumi's left hand, burning away the soul of the hand as well.
"Arrrrrggggghhh!"
"Abaddon! Abyssal Reverse!"
Yuki's sword pulsates with dark energies and blast at Kurumi, which swiftly regenerates her hand and her soul. Realising this, Amon now targets Yuki, he swings his sword at Yuki from a distance. Yuki knows what's coming for her, the shadow of his blade is extending towards her. She does the same with Abaddon's shadow. With both shadow extends and clashes, locking both of them in place.
"You can save others, but like all Nanaya, you can't save yourself, let alone your brother!"
"Zafkiel! Aleph!"
Kurumi now fires the bullet at Yuki, she immediately knows what it does and runs. The initial speed caught Amon in surprise as his host's body cannot sprint as long as the target in Aleph does. Judging the direction she is sprinting to, Amon disappears and reappear in a puff of black smoke.
"Gabriel, RONDO!"
Before Amon can do anything, he is blasted away by a sonic barrier.
"Ugh!"
When the Spirits work together, they are hard to stop.
"RAPHAEL-ELL KANAPH!"
Kaguya and Yuzuru launches the gigantic arrow at Amon. The wind turns violent and rendering him unable to destroy it.
"Tsch..."
Amon relocates himself in a black smoke, dodging the arrow with ease. He resummons El-Diablo, only to see Tohka using Halvanhelev attempting to cut him down. However, Amon with the Eyes of Death traces the redline invisible to everyone just as the blade reaches him. The sword pierces Halvanhelev, and runs right through it like a hot knife on butter. Severing the gigantic sword.
"What?"
Seizing the chance, Amon sprints towards the back of Tohka, preparing to stab her at the back. Seeing this, Shido immediately shouted in fear.
"TOHKA!"
She immediately look back, everything in her vision slow down, her eyes are wide open as she is in fear. All she sees is the cold smile of the killer that uses Arashi as the scapegoat for all the destruction caused. The very same devil that almost killed her and Shido.
"SWAP!"
A dark wave reaches Amon and he is immediately relocated by Yuki. His attack has now missed.
"What in the?"
Only to realize that his position has been swapped by Yuki. Tohka just had another close shave with death. Just as he is about to retaliate, he can't move, he can feel chills around him, only to see his his legs being frozen by Yoshino, to make matters worse Kurumi is shooting at him.
"ZAFKIEL! ZAYIN!"
The bullet with the power to stop a target now fires at Amon. Knowing its power, he immediately conjures a few shadow blades.
"Oh no you don't!"
Tohka summons and swings Sandalphon, resulting a large purple wave of energy that shatters all shadow blade. With his host's instincts, he throws El-Diablo at the bullet. The bullet connects, freezing El-Diablo right at its place in air. Amon draws out the sword and the switchblade that his host is carrying. With his quick aim and swiftly pokes the ice, the ice shatters instantly, freeing Lord of Wrath once again.
With Amon dodging and failing to attack Spirits again and again, he had enough.
"I have to say, all of you are strong, unlike those during the first war, but now, behold my full power!"
Black wings shrouds Amon with a vortex of fire covers him. The searing heat forces everyone to look away, Yuki can sense the strong hellish mana within the core. The core erupts, revealing a shadow fiend. The fiend takes the humanoid torso of Nevermore, his skeletal chest burns brightly with fire, with the arms that are tipped with claw like fingers along with blade horns at the arms and shoulders. His head now have a triangular pattern of horns, his jaws now splits into half. The fire burning within him is so bright that it makes the battlefield even brighter with the bright moonlight.
"Now all that you cherished, will now be perished! Not even death can save you all!"
The demons starts to become more powerful as their lord assumes his demon form. The mysterious being has sensed that.
"Intervention is near..." He muttered.
The sight terrorizes the Spirits.
"He is impervious to damages in this state, unless we wear down his mana, or we have the eyes..."
Shido is also worried as he has witness the fiend form of Arashi. But this time with Amon being in control, things have turned very bad for them.
"Bring it on, Spirits! Don't you want to save your friend?"
"Wear down his mana, huh? CAMAEL, MEGIDDO!"
Kotori's halberd changes to a cannon, aiming at Amon. Amon only sneers at Kotori's attempt.
"Avatar of Camael, Spirit of Fire... Behold the fires of the seven hells! HELLS INFINIUM!"
Seven pentagram of different colors form in front of Amon, there are red, blue, green, silver, purple, yellow and orange pentagrams. Kotori fires Megiddo, while Amon fires from the pentagrams.
The pentagrams are a small gateway to hell, each Sin Lord channels the flames of their realm and unleashes at the group.
Kotori's fire from Megiddo is being consumed, leaving her shocked. Yoshino quickly conjures a large barrier of ice, shielding everyone. The ice although resistant to the fire, but still being held strongly by Yoshino's mana, which is slowly wearing down by the fires from hell. Seeing this, Yamai twins conjures strong torrents of wind blowing the hellfire in midair, relieving the strain on Yoshino by a bit.
"Shocked. There is no end to his fires!"
"We can't keep up!"
The wind is also struggling to stop the fire, Yuki also help out by raising up a barrier.
"APHOTIC BARRIER!"
The barrier blocks out the inferno. The fire lights up the battlefield for a moment, the Wizards can tell that the young man has turned into devil. But they can't do anything as they have to keep the demons from reaching their lord.
After a minute, the fire waves disappear, leaving Yoshino, Kaguya, Yuzuru and Yuki exhausted due to the extensive use of , everyone notices that Amon's movements are erratic.
"Run away! NOW!"
The Lord of Wrath now tells them to run away, puzzling everyone. Suddenly, Amon's raises his hands aiming at Kaguya and Yuzuru in the air. Without warning, a hose of red lightning comes out of his hands. The aim is off as it misses their body, only to blast away their wing.
The twins enter a state of free fall, Yuki immediate conjures a wave of shadows that grabs the twin and put them down safely.
"RUN AWAY OR KILL ME NOW! ARRRRGGGHH..."
The demon regain his composure and speaks again.
"IT IS USELESS TO RESIST!"
The group then realise that it was Arashi telling them to run. The poor young man is trying his best to wrestle the control of Lord of Wrath with all his remaining strength.
"ARASHI!" Yuki shouted in worry.
"SHUT UP!"
Amon raises his arms into the air, just as a large red pentagram forms underneath them, Yuki immediately blasts everyone away and swiftly teleports. The pentagrams explodes unleashing hellfire with the darkness, mimicking Arashi's attacks.
"IT'S USELESS! NOW DIE!"
Amon immediately raises his arms again targeting with the explosion blasting Yuki away!
"Ahhhh!"
She screams as the searing heat of the hellfire hurts her. Before anyone can react, Amon swiftly hurls two fireballs at Yoshino. Yoshino defends herself by having Zadkiel to conjure a thick block of ice. However, being weakened by the attack before. The block of ice shatters into pieces while manage to block one of the fireballs. But the remaining connects onto Zadkiel, it explodes into a large wave of fire. Zadkiel disappears into million particles of light sending Yoshino flying and screaming.
"YOSHINO!"
Shido shouted in worry as Amon begins his counterattack. Kurumi immediately shoots at Amon.
"Zafkiel, Het!"
Kurumi intends to form a clone of Amon, having someone identical of strength in hope of defeating him. Lord of Wrath can sense the bullet and knows what it does. He conjures a shadow blade and hurls it towards the trajectory of the bullet. Upon impact, the shadow blades is replicated. However, to Kurumi's horror, she can't control the other blade.
The swords are being hurled by Amon towards Kurumi swiftly, targeting the flintlock pistol and musket, the swords pierces the point of death with surgical precision, shattering Zafkiel into million particles of light.
"KURUMI, BEHIND YOU!"
Amon appears from behind, blasting another hose of red lightning at Kurumi. The lightning yet again missed as Arashi fights for control from within. The blast sent Kurumi flying and renders her unconscious. In the mean time, Arashi is being shocked by Amon afterwards to assume control again.
Only Tohka, Kotori and Miku are now left to deal with the Fallen Spirit.
"Gabriel, March!"
The song of Gabriel enhances the strength of Tohka and Kotori. Without hesitation, both charges at Lord of Wrath one last time.
"Halvanhelev!"
Tohka resummons the gigantic sword, swinging it at Amon. Seeing both Spirits charging at him, Amon channels the souls of his and Arashi's victims.
"Hell's Nova!" (Shadow's Requiem, its counterpart)
The souls gather into Amon and it erupts into a large field of hellfire consist of all the maddened souls ready to tear through everything in their path while screaming. The "fire" consumes both Camael and Halvanhelev and blasts both Tohka and Kotori back.
"Ugh…"
"TOHKA! KOTORI!"
Both Spirits are close to being unconscious as they are out of mana.
"Mmmmrah!"
Another hose of lightning now blasts from Amon's hand towards Miku.
"GABRIEL, RONDO!"
The barrier blocks the lightning, only to shatter afterwards, render Miku unconscious as well.
"MIKU!"
Amon now appears in front of Shido. The fiend now towers Shido, he now raises the dark sword that Arashi gave him.
"Look around you… Who's next?"
Shido knows he can't run, not from the devil that has Arashi's eyes and body.
"You… The catalyst that allow all Spirits to invert, you are a Psychic like him and her, but the light in you is too great for me… Let alone not knowing what is your power!"
Amon hurls a fireball at Shido, it lands close to his feet as Arashi yet again, managed to assume some control. The blast however sends Shido flying.
"WAAAAHHHH!"
"Please… Run… Sorry, I can't…" Arashi muttered.
Arashi finally loses his conscious, unable to fight back to protect them anymore. Azrael is now worried as he senses that his host is dying from exhaustion and the energies of Amon.
"ARASHI! WAKE UP! DON'T DIE!"
Shido gets back up and raises the sword again. The blast does its damage as Shido's wiring suit has been tattered by a bit. He can feel the energies within the sword is increasing and it points at Amon, it seems that the sword is sentient.
"You want to save him, isn't it? Don't worry, I'll try, even if I don't know how…" Shido mumbled.
"Finally, he is dying. You can forget about saving him, better to save yourself!"
Upon hearing that, Shido decides to swing the sword at Amon. The sword unleashes a wave of dark energies at Amon, the wave connects onto the devil, but he doesn't even flinch. The look of Shido immediately turns to despair as he sees this.
"Your powers are increasing. But not enough, now die!"
Amon charges both arms with red lightning and unleashes the deadly hose of red lightning at Shido. Everything in his vision slows down as the arc of lightning reaching out for him. He closes his eyes in fear.
"Open your eyes, Itsuka Shido…"
Shido opens his eyes, to his surprise, the time has stopped. In front of him is the enigmatic young man that bestowed powers to the dead Wizards. His white hood along with the black leathery armor and the bright white wings.
Shido can't see his face clearly, only his jaw as his eyes are shadowed by the hood.
"Who are you? An angel?" Shido asks.
"Do you really want to save him?"
The man ignores his question, only to ask Shido back.
"Of course I want to! He has suffered enough, being forced to kill, being threatened of losing his loved ones. And he lost them, his soul and Yuki's soul have already broken enough and I will fix it along with Yuki!"
The man smiled and speaks again.
"I can help you to save him, but you must vow for something."
The man now erks Shido as he thought the man is Phantom.
"Are you Phantom?"
"I am not, I am someone that died many years ago, trapped between life and death. Listen, if you want to save him. Tell no one about this encounter."
"Alright."
"Now look into my eyes…"
Shido look at the man, the man looks into Shido's eyes as well. Shido can see his face, his eyes are glowing in blue. The young man disappears and Shido can feel that his body has been possessed.
"What? What are you doing?"
"Help you of course… Now call Zadkiel!"
Shido trusts the man's words and calls Zadkiel.
"ZADKIEL!"
He can feel that his left hand turns cold as he remembers using it to protect Miku from inverted Tohka a month back. The time resumes with Shido casting a barrier of ice that shields him from the lightning. This time, the ice does not shatter, surprising Amon.
"What? How?"
The ice disappears instantaneously as he turns the ice into water vapour instantly.
"Now… Focus and call Azrael!"
Shido heightens his focus and calls it out loud.
"COME FORTH AZRAEL!"
Deep within the dark realm, a light shines upon Azrael. Who is surprised to see it and even hears Shido's voice that calls him.
"Itsuka Shido… But how?"
"Azrael… It is time for salvation."
The mysterious young man now appears before Azrael. Who is surprised to see the young man as he recognizes him.
"What? You are…"
Before Azrael can finish, the young man cuts him off.
"Not now Azrael, Arashi is dying and I need your power. I am now bound by fate and it is my only chance to redeem both of our sins."
Azrael can see the powers within the young man recognizes that he is an avatar for an angel, unlike the other Spirits, he is special.
"Avatar of Ithereal, the Angel of Fate now joining to defend it too?"
"Yes, our fates are not written at this time, we can end it once and for all!"
The young man reaches out his hand, and Azrael grabs it. Both beings disappears from the dark realm. Bright light engulfs both of Shido's hands, he can immediately feel the strain on his body as the angel now manifests in the form of twin gray swords known as Harvester. Unlike Arashi's, Shido actually summoned a physical blade.
"Harvester? But it looks different…"
"It is because his powers, he dwelled in the dark while you are in the light. It is normal for you to summon it like that."
Amon now look surprised to see Harvester being used by Shido as he never expect Shido is able to call out Azrael despite not sealing the powers within himself.
"Impossible, Azrael able to respond to your call rather than his avatar's…"
What troubles the devil is the fact that Harvester does not have any point or lines of death, as Azrael is the death itself. The young man now speaks again.
"I will have to take control of your body for a while… You can still speak though."
"What?"
"Now… Welcome to the world that Yuki, Arashi and I see…"
Unknown to Shido, his eyes changed to bright blue and to his surprise, he can see many red lines on all objects. He then figures out that the young man is a member of Nanaya clan, and he is seeing with the Eyes of Death.
"It's been quite sometime since I use the eyes, can't wait to test it out…"
Without warning Shido sprints towards Amon with insane speed. What shocks Shido is that he has never sprinted so fast before. The speed also shocks Amon who immediately summons El-Diablo to parry the attack. However, before the parry can happen, El-Diablo is shattered by a pierce on the blade with Harvester.
"IMPOSSIBLE!"
Amon now relocates a distance away in a puff of a black smoke and looks puzzled. It doesn't take long before he realizes that Azrael can give his host the eyes as long as they are using Harvester.
"Ouch…"
Shido muttered as he presses his legs. The young man then realizes that his host's body can't keep up with his abilities when he was alive.
"You seriously need to train up if you really want to protect Spirits…" The young man reprimands Shido.
"I know that…"
Now he switches tactics, he knows that as long as he can kill Arashi from within before they can break him out, it's a win. The life force of Arashi is fading away even further.
Shido now reappears from the back of Amon, forcing the devil to resummon El-Diablo to parry the attack. This time, he managed to parry the hit by placing El-Diablo to avoid its lines being traced. This time, locking both of them in place.
"How? For you to have such skills in just seconds?"
A spectral image of the young man now forms on Shido, shocking the devil even further as he recognizes him as well.
"You!? Impossible, you are already dead years ago!"
"Not now…"
Shido under the possession of the mysterious young man, strikes repeatedly with crazy speeds. Eventually, El-Diablo got destroyed again, forcing Amon to back off. As other Spirits gets their conscious back, they are surprised to see Shido fighting Amon with Azrael.
"Harvester? Shido… You're amazing…" Yuki muttered.
"Let us end this once and for all!"
Amon conjures a large wave of fire at Shido and the Spirits. A ghastly blade is conjured by Shido and being hurled towards the flames. The blade pierces the point in midair, killing the air in the area. It turns the area into a vacuum, extinguishing the fire before it can reach them. Shocking everyone is that Shido actually sprints and appears before Amon right at the exact moment when the flame extinguishes.
"IT'S OVER!" Shido roared.
Shido under the control of the young man now pierces the point of death on the fiendish form of Amon, who was unable to react just in time. The fiends of shadow disappears violently, revealing the young man that it transformed from. Amon now staggers as the sudden destruction of his fiend form is unexpected.
Shido then cuts open the chest of Amon's host by not fully tracing the line on Arashi's chest. The blood smears onto Shido as he cuts it, big enough to see the red soulstone that is radiating a blood red light.
"NO!"
Amon tries to fight back, but ghastly swords of Azrael are summoned and all pins Amon in place by piercing the limbs.
"NOW! GRAB THE SOULSTONE!"
With the sword now disappears, Shido inserts his hand into the chest, grabbing the soulstone and attempts to pull it out. His heart is racing as it is a very crucial move to save Arashi, it is now or never. But there is an invisible force that is holding the stone in place.
"ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!"
Arashi's eyes are glowing in red as Lord of Wrath is trying to anchor itself into him. Upon seeing this, Yuki rushes to help as well.
"GET OFF MY BROTHER'S BODY, AMON!"
Both of them uses their strength to pull the stone out, but still with no avail. The attempt of removal however has been sensed by a Hunter who managed to slip behind the defence line of wizards.
"Lord Amon… Lord Nanoka, it is my time now."
The Hunter turns out to be Jays Gray, who was told to be the vessel if the soulstone is being pulled out.
"Sorry, Arashi… JUST BEAR WITH IT!"
Yuki kicks Arashi in the abdomen and the stone is being pulled out as he is sent flying by the darkness enhanced kick. The soulstone leaves Shido's hand because he fell backwards. The stone also emits a trail of red energy. The cut on Arashi's body now lights up in black flame, healing it completely as Shido undo the death.
The group now rushes towards Arashi's unconscious body, leaving Shido behind. The demons become weak as their lord is now gone, the Wizards and the ghosts takes the advantage and kills a number of them along with the Hunters.
"I shall take my leave here…"
The young man now appears before Shido, puzzling him.
"Where are you going?" Shido asked.
"…I don't know… When the time is right, we will meet again, Itsuka Shido."
The young man then suddenly disappeared without a trace. Shido then approaches Arashi, who is being healed by Yuki.
"Uhhh…"
Arashi opens his eyes seeing Yuki and the rest at his side. He can't feel the pain in his head anymore, neither he can sense the aura of Amon within him.
"You all… I'm saved… But how?"
"Phantom told us to remove the soulstone within you, you are now freed."
"I see… UGHH!"
Arashi gets up and coughs out blood, Shido is worried by the sight.
"Hey, are you alright?" he asked.
"Yeah… I'm fine, where's the soulstone?"
"There."
Shido points at the stone that is shining in blood red. Arashi gets up, and draws his switchblade, walks towards the soulstone.
"I shall end this once and for all."
Nanoka is watching from a distance, visibly furious by the fact that Arashi has been saved.
"NOW! GRAY!" he commanded with his mind.
"Yes, my lord!"
The soulstone then levitates surprising the group.
"NO!"
Arashi then conjures a shadow blade and hurls it towards the soulstone. However, the sword missed as the stone moves very quickly. Arashi gives chase and sees Jays Gray controlling the stone. He grabs the stone and impales it into himself.
"ARRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!"
His scream turns into a demonic cry as Amon possesses his body. It shocks everyone, with Arashi and Yuki's eyes, the Hunter's soul has been consumed by Amon completely.
"What in the, ARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH…"
Dark energies escapes from Arashi's body violently as the Hunter is transforming. Yuki can sense the dark mana of Nevermore being pulled out. Afterwards, Amon reappears with the same fiendish form when he possessed Arashi.
"How does it feel, Nanaya Arashi? Your precious Psychic power is gone."
"What!?"
Arashi tries to summon the shadow blade, only to be able to summon a ghastly ethereal sword that cannot damage physical objects.
"You can kill me, but your Nevermore will be gone as well."
Arashi is now at a difficult spot, the powers that he uses to protect his loved ones is now working against him. He knows that he can't let the devil to get their hands onto this power.
"This is hard… Azrael, Harvester!"
The two ethereal blades are now at his hands, Arashi unsheathes the short sword from his back and bites it with his mouth, employing a 3 swords fighting style.
"This power… I have been using it for many years, sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it… But it did what it does, that is to protect, even if it has to be destroyed to protect this world. I'm not alone anymore, I have allies, I have friends and I have NO REGRETS!"
Arashi's eyes brightens up as rage builds up. With his vision full of red lines, he then sprints towards Amon. The devil then summons many shadow blade and hurls it towards Arashi. Arashi does the same with the summoned swords as well. Both blades clashes with each other non-stop. Amon then raises his arms in the air and summons the pentagram on the ground.
The skills difference is visible here as Arashi is able to evade the attacks, being the user of the attacks for many years. Amon is unable to land a single hit onto Arashi. Arashi then appears before Amon, the devil's arms are instantly burned as Harvester burns the soul of whichever parts it "severs". The attack staggers him, Arashi then takes this chance to joints up Harvester, takes the sword from his mouth and hurls it at the point of death of Amon, destroying the devil form of Amon, reverting him back to his host's normal body.
Amon then tries to summon El-Diablo, however to his horror, Arashi traces the line of his host's arms with the sword and switchblade, severing the arms with blood spewing out. Then, the young man uses his switchblade to swiftly cuts open the chest, revealing the soulstone.
"BE BANISH BACK TO THE BLACK ABYSS, AMON!"
Fear can be seen on the face as Arashi says the line. Arashi then impales his short sword into the point on the soulstone, impaling the host's chest as well. The young man then seals the fate of both the host and the devil by impaling the switchblade onto the point of the host's body as well.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Red energies erupt from the body engulfing the battlefield, consuming everyone. Then, the group is with Arashi in a realm that is engulf in light. 3 angels then appear before the group, one being Azrael, the other one is in robes and holding a scroll.
"Azrael…"
"Well done everyone, the war did not end disastrously. The world is safe from this one, Hunters are dead."
Azrael's words send a relief among the group as they embraces each other, afterall, it is one hell of a fight.
"Unfortunately, when Azrael was within you, your actions has caused countless people died before their times are up."
The other angel speaks, Yuki recognizes the angel being the Angel of Fate.
"Itherael, the Angel of Fate…" she muttered.
"Wait, he did so because he was trying to protect us, himself and he was under the possession of Amon!"
Shido tries to defend Arashi's actions, however, the angel does not listen to him.
"Itsuka Shido… Many live's fate are not up, and the council has decided that Azrael to take action against him."
Azrael is reluctant to do so as he chose Arashi as his avatar just like how Itherael chose that enigmatic young man as well.
"This is unfair to him! He is a victim!"
Kotori joins in as well, Arashi then gestured them to stop, shocking the two.
"Itherael, Azrael, you two did revived nearly the entire world back at the first war. I beg you two to take the souls in me and revive them. Revive all those whose time are not up that I have killed."
The angels seem to heed Arashi's request, but the Angel of Fate speaks again.
"There is a price to everything Arashi, unlike back in the first war."
"What is it?" Arashi asked.
"Your eyes, the Eyes of Death."
The price shocks everyone, they know Arashi just lost his power to control darkness, and now losing the eyes.
"What? Then how for the clan to continue to defend this world?"
Azrael attempts to defend Arashi as he is unwilling to take this action against Arashi.
"The clan is already dead. It is a test, Azrael… His test is not over yet, when the time comes, he'll learn. And you will need something to answer for later on."
"Do it!"
Arashi's agreement surprises Itherael who is expecting some negotiation.
"I have allies now, I don't have to rely on the eyes, I'll use my remaining power, that is the power to control soul."
The Angel of Fate then channel energies into the scroll.
"The trade is accepted. Azrael…"
"…Alright…"
Azrael reluctantly, reaches out his hand and covers Arashi's eyes, blue energies come out from the palm, afterwards his palm left Arashi's eyes. Arashi opens up his eyes, only able to activate the eyes to see soul, just like how Yuki is able to now.
"Oh the scroll of fate… Revive… Revive those that died for this war… May mercy shine upon their souls…"
Souls exit Arashi's bodies and leaving the realm. And then, Westcott and Ellen appears in the realm.
"Their time are not up too, they have tests to complete as well, they fail, they die. Relax, they can't see us." Itherael spoked.
"What!?"
Arashi and Shido are obviously furious by the fact that Westcott and Ellen are to be revived.
"Ease your anger, Arashi. We'll need them to protect the world. Their equipment and their wizards have proven to be a powerful force should another war breaks out." Azrael commented.
"Tsch…"
"The Hunter's leader is still at large, if I'm right, they'll probably after him. And perhaps you would like to talk to them?"
Itherael wakes both Westcott and Ellen up, the two are surprised to see that they are intact, and before them is their killer. Arashi then speaks to them.
"The gods decided that you two are to live as your time are not up yet. But listen, if you dare to touch them, the next time we meet, I'll be the one to end your time!"
Westcott and Ellen are irritated, by they can't do anything.
"I'll be aftering the one that set me up instead of you, it won't be long before we'll meet again…"
The two then disappears from the realm. Azrael then speaks again.
"All of you, I wish you all to stay by both Yuki and Arashi's side."
"That is a definite yes."
"Thank you for your sacrifices, we are now leaving. Please continue to protect the Spirits, Ratatoskr…"
"Arashi… Will you be my avatar again when the time comes?"
"I definitely will, Azrael."
"Very well, goodbye. I hope you will find peace in your life."
The group then gets teleported to the gravesite where Arashi was at.
"Where are we?" Tohka asked.
"I was here… The graveyard for those that died 30 years ago…"
The group then teleports back onto Fraxinus.
"It's all over now at least."
Yuki and Arashi embraces each other, finally losing the shackles, Arashi is freed at last. The tormentor of Arashi is gone for good, relieving Yuki's stress as well.
It is a heart-warming sight as the others knows that Arashi will not die. Shido then reaches out his hand.
"Welcome to the family, Yuki, Arashi."
The two shakes his hand. Suddenly, Arashi's astral suit combusts. Knowing what is about to happen, the Spirits look away while Kannazuki hands him over a new set of clothes. As Arashi puts on the new clothes, he know that he is not sealed, but instead, he lost his status as a Spirit and more than half of his powers as a Psychic.
The Wizards are sent back to their home base. Those that are killed are revived, even those AST Wizards that are killed before the war are revived as well. All of them talked about being revived by gods, neither anyone of them knows about the angel or the mysterious young man.
The sun also rises just in time back at the battlefield, crumbling all demon remains into mere dusts. It is a new dawn to everyone, even to the Hunters...
Back at the cliff
"Plan A failed, but Plan B worked… There is no one that possesses the eyes now, I still have to say, you did a pretty good job even though you failed…"
A voice pierces Nanoka's mind as he leaves the cliff.
"I'm sorry, Lord Lucifer, I am ready to be your vessel now."
"We'll do it once you get back and clear out all evidence… The Majestics are my strongest people, I don't need anymore Hunters. He is also part of Majestics, you need to kill him before recruiting someone else."
Knowing that he will have to take out Arashi himself, the young man replied.
"Yes, my lord…"
And that's all, a little spoilers, Majestics will be one of the faction to appear in the sequel. The next fallen will be Nanoka himself, but with a twist.
