Kendra spent the next two weeks either telling her parents that going to the Fairy Realm was her choice to make or wondering what it would be like when she went. After two weeks finally passed she packed a bag and went to the pond while everyone was at breakfast.

"One more hour." Kendra said lying on the grass. "Then nobody will be in danger because of me anymore."

"Kendra." someone said.

Kendra turned around and was so surprised to see Seth she almost rolled down a small hill.

"Seth what are you doing here?" Kendra asked.

"More importantly what are you doing here without saying goodbye or even leaving a note to your family." Seth said.

"I didn't want anyone trying to convince me not to do this." Kendra said looking towards the shrine.

"Kendra." Seth said.

"What?" she asked still looking at the island in the middle of the pond.

"You haven't looked me in the eyes for two weeks."

Kendra was saved from having to create an excuse when a white light came from the shrine and Bracken stepped into a waiting boat.

"I have to go." Kendra said.

"No." Seth said. "You have to come home."

"Seth I can't handle saying goodbye to them so can you please just leave me alone." Kendra said.

"I won't." Seth said stubbornly.

Kendra started glowing.

"K-Kendra." Seth said.

"Can you please get away from me Seth." Kendra begged.

Seth hesitated but left.

"Kendra what happened?" Bracken asked.

"Can we go now?" Kendra asked.

"Why?"

"I can't wait to leave anymore."

"Don't you want to tell your family a final farewell."

"No!" she said quickly.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes." Kendra said standing up.

"Okay. I really don't think you should just leave yet."

"I want to."

"Whatever you say."

Bracken led her into a boat and across the pond to the shrine.

"Are you sure you want to go?" Bracken asked.

"Yes." Kendra said.

Bracken pointed his second horn at the small wooden fairy making it stand up, raise its arms and summon a circular beam of energy with pictures of huge snowy mountains with giant blue women walking around, Hissiae running in meadows and memaids swimming in coral reefs singing songs about flounder and turtles.

"Are you completely sur-" Bracken started.

"Yes I am!" Kendra snapped. "Sorry."

"I understand." Bracken said. "Just step inside."

Kendra took a deep breath and stepped into the glowing light.
