Day 7: Pyramid rose with the sun and looked at the girl beside him, she was barely holding onto life. At the weakest he had been since the fall he pushed to his feet and grabbed his knife in one hand, carefully he lifted the girl into his other arm and began to carry her towards the pharmacy not far from there. It took what felt like hours but was mere minutes to arrive. With one swing he cut the door off the hinges and went to the counter where he sat her down. Alessa had told him the medicine ingredients when he had first been ordered to heal her so he now knew them by habit before adding a pinch of green herb. Using his weak fluid movement he made three droughts of the liquid concoction, one he slid his tongue around and consumed glass and all. The other two he began to force down the dying human's throat. Slowly she began to stabilize and heal at an abnormal rate when he was satisfied he sat in a chair nearby. Now that the seal on him had been broken he begun to feel just slightly, at first momentary worry for his ward, and now disgust at the feelings.

He knew what was coming and he wasn't anywhere near ready for it. A sound of glass made him turn, there in the shattered doorway stood a being dressed in brown robes with stitches across his face.

"Ishmael." The man spoke in a soft tone. Pyramid shakily stood and walked to stand in front of the man.

"..Abdi..el…Bro…ther." The man embraced Pyramid who just let it happen numbly.

"You….here…" Abdiel nodded knowing what Pyramid was trying to say. He had dwelled here often with his brother observing, watching and waiting. Now that moment Pyramid had sworn would never come had. He chose this form hoping it might offer some comfort but he knew Pyramid wasn't feeling anything, maybe annoyance but nothing. Abdiel sidestepped and waited for Pyramid to proceed outside first once he was they both stood at the intersection and waited. That's when the sky began to part.

Shlinda groan as she felt someone shaking her gently, she was finally comfortable and warm she didn't want to wake just yet. As she grew closer to waking she noticed the hand was small like that of a child. Opening her eyes she looked to see Alessa waking her and easily the wounded girl sat up. All Alessa did was point outside. Shlinda looked to see Pyramid a distance away with someone beside him, as she turned back she saw Alessa had vanished.

"Ok…I'll play." Shlinda with a slight ache stood and dragged her numb body to the doorway. She stopped noticing she wasn't that far from the two and looked up to see what they were witnessing. Her eyes widened as the sky began to split apart and the air seemed to lighten impossibly, small stones and other debris began to float. Gasping and in shock she looked back up to see a bright blinding light descending downwards. As it made contact with the ground the light began to melt and soak into the asphalt slowly revealing a gorgeous black haired woman in red. As the light faded the asphalt it had melted into was now covered in dense greenery. Shlinda felt many things looking at the woman but was unable to only feel one way about all of it. Two inhumanly handsome men with wings descended on either side of her as if they were her guard. When she spoke Shlinda felt a comforting warmth flood her body.

"Ishmael…It has been years since our last meeting." Pyramid nodded almost as if he was afraid for her to hear his torn and wretched voice. He felt a deep sadness and longing flood him, the first emotions he had truly felt since his banishment. The goddess moved towards him each step of hers forming more greenery before her foot could touch the street. She stopped and observed him closely, with a wave of her hand Abdiel went to stand with her guards behind her. Shlinda watched the woman and her proximity to Pyramid and felt…rather odd. Her heart raced as the woman touched the tip of Pyramids helm and made it dissolve into sparks. From behind Shlinda had to cover her mouth at the patches of black hair and gashed, rotted holes that adorned his head, she had to forcibly stop herself at imaging his face. The goddess looked on him with almost sadness… and slowly raised her hand to cup his cheek. As was the grass and her feet, the portion of his face she went to touch healed and repaired before she made contact, once she did his hair regrew down to his shoulders and the holes healed and vanished. Even his body fully repaired and cleaned it's self.

"You are as handsome as ever." The goddess commented. Ishmael looked at her through dark red eyes remembering she could see pass the ugliness of a creature and see how it truly was. He subconsciously leaned into her tough slightly, the angelic compulsion of being near his lord strong as the day he fell.

"My lady." Ishmael spoke in a deep baritone sending shivers down Shlinda's spine. He sounded so godly…but why was her heart racing and eyes filling with unshed tears at the intimacy the two seemed to share? The goddess removed her hand as she continued to look onto him.

"You know why I am here." Ishmael knew. He had broken their deal to save the girl, now Silent Hill and Alessa would be eviscerated along with him. He had sworn to never use his angelic gifts for another and in a fit of rage he had.

"You never did have a good temper." He looked away to his right, the goddess just looking at him filled him with emotion as memories of their time together flooded him. Their moments shared in private, the blood he had shed for her, everything came full circle to his mind. He remembered his fall and looked back to lock eyes with her.

"Neither did you my lady." The goddess chuckled, emotions showing in her once again.

"Ever the defiant one." Pyramid gave a macabre smile before remembering the girl behind him. He had felt her the moment she had stepped in the doorway and now was reminded of her. She was still in his protection and he refused to disobey another order, he would not fail Alessa in this at least besides the girl was innocent.

"My lady, I am ready for the end…but the girl." The goddess tilted her head slightly and looked passed Pyramid head to see who he mentioned, instantly she knew who she was. She looked back to Pyramid.

"You know I cannot spare her." Shlinda's eyes grew big as Ishmael's narrowed uncomfortably.

"What do you mean?...She is innocent!" Ishmael declared in confusion and anger. The goddess stared into his eyes searchingly before finally speaking.

"I can feel your touch upon her, if she is innocent why do I sense this?"

"It was a small offence, not one deserving of death." The goddess lifted her eyebrows in response to Pyramid's unusual show of compassion. Why was he acting this way and towards a mere mortal woman. The goddess's green eyes began to turn yellow and the air slightly thickened but her tone remained the same.

"What is this Shlinda to you?" Pyramid had a momentary look of confusion before realizing that was the girl's name.

"You would never care for a mortal like this, Alessa was somewhat understandable she was a child, a full innocent. But women like Shlinda were never exempt from punishment not even death from merely looking upon you wrongly." Pyramid froze, fear coursed through him at the goddess's obvious anger but remained firm in his objections.

"It was an order from Alessa that I protect her."

"And was it not an order from me…" The grass beneath her feet began to wither and the sky to darken.

"Your lord, your god…your lover…to condemn Alessa?" Pyramid fell to his knees in agony as heat burned into him the goddesses now bright yellow eyes focused on him intensely. Shlinda raced forward crying out pyramids name but stopped as the goddess snapped her eyes up to her, before she could blink Abdiel had her suspended in the air levitating. The goddess looked back down to Ishmael torturing him a moment longer before her eyes faded back to green. As he lay on the ground breathing through his clenched teeth she stepped over and passed him coming to stand before Shlinda. She looked at the girl a moment and sensed fear, worry and a fait trace of jealousy.

"You continue to disappoint me Ishmael." Pyramid stood to his feet and looked up to see Alessa watching from a distance clutching something in her hand. Never taking his eyes from Alessa he responded.

"My lady…your expectations of me are far to high." Silence stretched and quicker than possible Alessa tossed the object to him, upon catching it he sprouted his wings and barbwire once more. The goddess turned to watch as her guard assaulted him only to be both ripped in two by his hands. He turned and began to walk towards her. The goddess stepped forward and her eyes turned yellow. She frowned as he advanced unfazed by her. He stopped face to face with his once lord and lover.

"I only wanted to serve you…I was made to punish." The goddess in her bewilderment watched as his red eyes glowed. Unable to sense his thoughts and motives due to her own impenetrable block on him she felt for the first time…nervous.

"And you…are guilty." The goddess went to raise her hand and Pyramid spun. The bones and barb butchered the goddess slaughtering her with each turn, Pyramid and her locked eyes as it all seemed to slow, for the first time he witnessed her fear…and he loved it. And then her eyes were shredded and gone. Pyramid stopped and stood bathed in golden blood, Abdiel stared in shock as Shlinda fell to her butt. The sky thundered and fused back together and the earth rumbled eerily as the goddesses blood soaked away into nothingness.

"What have you done? How?" Abdiel whispered. Pyramid lifted his hand and was clutching a strange symbol in his hand. The only thing that could kill the goddess.

"Metatron…"Abdiel whispered. He shared one last look with his brother and vanished back to the queenless kingdom. Pyramid reached down and pulled Shlinda to her feet in one movement. Her heart raced at his beauty his unearthly eyes drowning her. Pyramid feeling her heart and blood racing quickly felt a tightness in his groin.

"You're free now." Pyramid turned to face Alessa with Shlinda beside him.

"Free?" He asked slowly. Alessa laughed a childish girly laugh.

"Can't you feel it? Silent Hill is slowly dissolving, going back to how it was before everything happened. I no longer need a guardian nor a punisher, not where I'm bound free from the goddess." Alessa walked forward and hugged Pyramid's leg.

"Thank you." Pyramid bent down and embraced the girl after separating she continued.

"This world is yours to explore now. Stay with Shlinda, protect her is all I have left to say." Pyramid nodded while Shlinda seemed to blush by the statement. Slowly Alessa began to fade. her form disappearing with the fog surrounding the town. Sunlight lit the empty town illuminating the true age of Silent Hill, the cracked streets and rotting buildings no longer looked ominous. Shlinda turned back to Pyramid to see his wings and barbs turn to ash and fall away, the golden blood fading into him as well. Shlinda looked at the new man beside her.

"Ishmael…"

"That is no longer my name…Pyramid is fine." She rubbed her feet together nervously, his words sounding

"What now?" She whispered, her words seeming to echo in the emptiness of the town. Pyramid looked at the ground trying to control the feeling and emotions he had been devoid of for so long.

"I protect you, as Alessa said. No longer a weapon but as a shield." He stated matter of factly.

"I'm nothing as good as a goddess." Shlinda whispered darkly as her heart raced at his words. The thoughts of the goddesses words still echoing in her head. Pyramid stared at her his eyes focusing on her calmly.

"No, you're not. But I take my orders seriously." He stated holding out his hand to her, reluctantly she took it. And together they went off in search of her brother, in search of a new life. For a reason beyond understanding she felt emotions towards him she hadn't before, but then again she felt still that of a monster but also that of a man who had lost reason but was now on a path again. As they walked her heart continued to race at the contact of their hands.

"Pyramid…" He stopped walking and turned towards her, he felt normal basically mortal but her emotions and feelings still read easily; more than likely an angelic talent he'd never be rid of. Reaching up with the hand he'd been holding hers with; feeling slight disappointment from her at loss of contact; he forcibly cupped the back of her head and shoved her lips against his. Her heart thundered in her chest as he separated them.

"Let's find your brother." He whispered huskily. She inwardly moaned at his tone and he let himself feel smug he could seduce again, he planned to let himself feel many things from now on; for his goddess, for Alessa, and for Shlinda.

OK it's DONE! No more! I hope everyones ok with the ending this is based on what I had originally planned. For the ending song I listened to while writing; the Tokyo Ghoul anime opening. Hope everyone enjoyed Shlinda and Ishmael's journey!
