Chapter 10

"What are you thinking of, Bonnie?" Kim sneered, aghast that her rival now has pictures of Kim as a platypus.

"Oh, nothing!" Bonnie smirked, "I'm just taking in the fact that you are going to be humiliated in front of the entire school body! Now, if you don't mind, me and Monique are going to help Candace...upgrade her wardrobe a little bit with the help of Club Banana. And, by the way, the mall doesn't accept platypuses...or is it platypii...or platy-people, whatever! You'll miss out on the summer fashions. Have a fun time doing nothing at all, K!"

Bonnie cackled as she left the room.

Monique sighed and she and Candace were about to leave the room with the two other girls for Candace's wardrobe problem.

"Wait, Monique!" Kim exclaimed, pleading on her knees "Don't go with Bonnie!" She then utilized her most potential weapon of emotion in her arsenal, a Puppy Dog Pout.

Looking into the sad green eyes and quivering lips of Kim, even as a platypus, was enough to convince Monique.

"Okay, girl. I'll stay here and help you out." Monique smiled, lifting Kim up onto the bed.

Candace looked at the time, which was now 12:30, and said to Monique, "Looks like I'd better feed Perry before I leave with Bonnie to go shopping."

Kim's newfound platypus tummy then began to growl.

"...and Kim too..."

"Great..." Kim complained, "...now I have to live the life of a platypus!"

Downstairs, Candace came down with Perry and Kim in her arms and headed on over into the kitchen. Ron and Monique were behind her.

"Ron..." Kim muttered.

"Yeah, KP the Platypus?" Ron joked a little.

"Ha...ha..." Kim sarcastically replied, "...very funny, Ron! Can you get Wade on the Kimmunicator so that I can find my way out of this sitch?"

"Um...where is the Kimmunicator?" Ron asked, scratching his head in a confused state of mind.

Kim let out a sharp groan and said, "Ron, I put the Kimmunicator in Candace's room, shortly I became...this! Now hurry and get Wade online so that I can transform back into a human again in time for my date with Josh!"

Ron quickly went upstairs to search for the Kimmunicator in Candace's room.

Candace looked around the kitchen and asked to herself "Now where did Mom put the platypus food...?"

Bonnie was sitting on a chair at the table, reading the catalogue for Club Banana.

"Hey, Candace, do you think these designer jeans would work for you for your date with your hottie?" Bonnie asked, pointing to a pair of $70 low-rise jeans from CB.

Candace began to look through the cabinets for Perry's food but heard about what Bonnie found on the calculator. She got to the table and observed the jeans that the brunette point to with her hand.

"I think those jeans will put a lot of glam on your date, plus this cute pink croptop." Monique agreed, pointing to the jeans and then to the $40 pink croptop above it. She and Bonnie agreed on this, since fashion was one of the very few things both girls have in common.

Bonnie, however, then looked at Candace's Mary Janes, "However, I don't think those jeans would go with...those things...!"

"Huh? My Mary Janes fit me perfectly, thank you very much!" Candace countered.

"Whatever you say..." Bonnie replied, "Still, IMO, these clothes don't match the shoes."

Candace gave her own opinion about her sense of fashion, "As long as I don't get platypus food on them, they'll be the shoes that I'll wear to the dance, thank you very much, Bonnie!"

She turned her back to the kitchen and studied the cabinets until she remembered where Linda had put the platypus food.

"Now I remember!" Candace exclaimed as she went to the end cabinet. She opened the cabinet door and spotted two cans of wet platypus food.

"Ah, here we go! Bonnie, can you feed Kim?"

Kim gasped, "WHAT?! Are you crazy ?!"

Bonnie squealed with delight, "Oh, of course, Candace! I would be more than happy to feed Kimmy the Platypus!"

Kim couldn't believe what was happening to her! Not only was she transformed into a platypus but now her long-time rival was going to feed her some gosh-knows-what in that platypus food.

Candace opened the two cans with the electrical can opener.

"Bonnie and Monique, I'd suggest to hold your noses a little." she said to them.

Monique and Bonnie held their nostrils with their fingers as Candace opened the cans of platypus food.

The awful stench of the platypus food reached Kim's unplugged nostrils.

"Ewwwwww! I think that's what happens when the foul stench of Wade's patened Kissy-kiss lip gloss meets the mystery meat at Middleton High and have a baby!"

Candace opened up a second cabinet for Perry's dish, and a backup one just in case if it was lost. She put the dishes on the floor and turned Perry's can upside down. Bonnie, meanwhile, got up from the table and grabbed the other can and also turned it upside down. Slowly, the food plopped onto both their dishes. Perry came up to the food and began to eat it without hesitation.

Kim gasped at the fact that she was going to be forced to eat what seemed like slop to her. The cafeteria food at Middleton High would be a much, much, MUCH better option that that.

"I don't wanna eat that stuff!" she complained.

But then her stomach began to growl again.

"If you don't wanna eat, K, then you'll grow hungry!" Bonnie taunted, "Now...eat!"

Kim gulped hard with a lump in her throat and then began to eat the food. She took small bites of the platypus food from her dish.

"Mmm...not bad! Candace..." she said in between bites, "...what's in this stuff?"

Candace picked up the empty can and began to read the ingredient list.

"Hmm...let's see! We have severed earthworm bodies, squished roaches, and dead stinkbugs to lead the list, followed by..."

Upon hearing the contents in the food, Kim gagged loudly! Quickly, she ran to Candace.

"Hey? What's going on...?"

The next sound she head was the puking and barfing of vomit from Kim's mouth onto her shoes. Insect guts and disgusting digested food were all over the tops of her Mary Janes.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!"

Monique fainted at the disgusting things that were occuring before her while Bonnie could not stop laughing at Kim, her mouth now covered with half-digested platypus food.

"Candace, it looks like Kim gave her opinion of wearing Mary Janes out on a date with boys."

"Ughhhh!" Candace replied with disgust, looking at her ruined shoes, "Definitely add some onyx Club Banana boots to the list, Bonnie! In the meantime, I gotta put Kim in Perry's kennel!"

"No way!" Kim bitterly complained, "I wanted to wear those boots!"

"So sorry, Kim!" Bonnie grinned, taking another humiliating photo of Kim, her mouth covered in half-digested platypus food.

"Looks like you're going to be in the doghouse for a while!"
