At Fablehaven

Seth was in his room thinking about the last two hours. Kendra had come home talking about a necklace in Los Angeles but for some reason Seth felt unbelievably jealous and while he knew he shouldn't feel that way a voice in his head was talking to him. Kendra always got to go on the adventures. She always got the attention. She always had cool powers. If only he could...If only. When Seth blinked his eyes he was in a dark hall made of black stone bricks. The hall seemed to go on forever and had dark oak doors on either side of it.

"What the?" Seth said.

Seth turned around and saw a mirror. He was wearing a black cloak with a red cape and he had red eyes and tattoos all over his body from his head to his toes.

"Hello?" Seth called. "Is anybody here?"

Seth went down the hall and saw a door open. Inside was a three-dimensional shadow that looked like. Kendra.

Villain's Perspective

Senkrad looked in her mirror and marveled at her work. She couldn't get to the fairykind girl but she could interfere with her family.

"Step into it." Senkrad whispered into the glass. The boy did as she said and he became a part of the shadow.

"Mistress." Yada hissed.

The huge, black, cat that had three eyes and two mouths with serpent tongues strode over to her.

"Yes mabis." Senkrad said petting the beast.

"You are smart. You are cunning. You are sneaky." Yada purred

"And you just want to be fed. Get out!"

"Please Mistress. You have not fed me in months."

"I said get out or I'll feed you to then krackens!"

The cat went outside with a sad sound.

"Show me the Fablehaven preserve" Senkrad said.

The mirror went cloudy then showed the main house at Fablehaven.

"I want the boys room." Senkrad said.

The scene changed and it showed the attic at Fablehaven. A shadow was dancing on the wall.

"Dinistrio!" Senkrad yelled causing the entire attic to collapse on itself.

The picture faded and went back to a normal mirror that showed Senkrad's reflection.

"That should cause some fear." Senkrad said.

In Los Angeles, more like west of LA and Santa Clarita

Kendra, Bila, Golau, Yazo, Hedera, Kurus, Jorgo, Elmas Dŵr, Soguk, Melody and the Fairy Queen were at the foot of the Echo Cliffs.

"Where are we going exactly?" Bila asked.

"To the top." Golau said growing her wings.

Bila grew a pair of wings that looked like sparks shooting out of her back. Elmas grew a pair of glass wings. Jorgo turned into unicorn form. Kurus opened her beetle wings. Yazo grew a pair of wide, pointy, clear wings. Kendra grew a pair of silver, glasswing butterfly wings. Dŵr grew a pair of sea robin wings. Soguk turned into a breeze of snowy wind. Melody's gray, feather gown turned into a pair of angel wings.

"I just got something." Bila said. "The hellhound is in the city of angels."

"Ironic." Hedera said throwing a leaf to the ground that turned into a huge tulip.

Everybody either flew or did something else to get to the top of the mountain where a cave was seen. They walked inside and saw a hall made of rocks and about a mile down they found a huge cavern with piles of gold, jewels and all kinds of other treasures all over.

"Do you like my treasures?" A voice rumbled. A Xoloitzcuintli dog with three heads lumbered in.

"Greetings, Zebani." the Fairy Queen said.

"I know what you're here for." Zebani said. "The answer is no."

"Zebani please." the Fairy Queen said.

"I said no. Leave before I kill all of you."

"I thought hellhounds were merciless. That sounds like mercy to me." Soguk said. "Well, I guess all of them can't live up to the expectations of the species."

"What did you say!" Zebani roared.

"You heard me."

"Enough of this." Melody said walking to Zebani. "Give us the necklace. Will you, darling?"

"Sorry but you can't cekicilik tartisma me, darling." Zebani said. "I will make a deal with you. Whichever one of you I choose will duel my son and if you win you can have the stupid necklace. If you don't, you'll be made his wife."

"Deal." Everyone said.

"I choose...the maiden."

"It's on." Bila said.

"Not you! Her." Zebani said pointing at Kendra.

Bila made a sound of disappointment like she was hoping she'd have to risk being forced to marry a dog.

Zebani's left head picked Kendra up with his left head and led everybody to an arena down the cave. Inside was a handsome teenager that wore clothes like the prince in Cinderella.

"That's your son!" Bila exclaimed. "It can't be! He looks like he stepped out of a tumblr boy photo and dressed up like he's from the fourteenth century or something."

"For your sake, I hope that's a compliment." Zebani said.

Kendra was thrown into the arena and black runes appeared in a circle around her.

"Tur, show no mercy." Zebani said.

"Ni fyddaf yn siomi, tad" Tur said.

"Wait!" Zebani said.

The runes dimmed and Zebani ran over to Kendra. He growled and Seth sprung out of Kendra's shadow.

"I'm changing the pact." Zebani said with as close to a smile as a dog could get. "The boy fights. If he loses, he dies."

"What?" Kendra said.

"You can't ch-" the Fairy Queen started.

"I'll do whatever I want!" Zebani boomed.

"Seth, how did you get here?" Kendra asked.

"I don't know." Seth said.

"Well you need to get ou-"

"If he leaves i'll swallow the necklace." Zebani said. "Kill him, Tur.''

"Never." Tur said.

"What did you say to me, boy!" Zebani thundered.

Tur turned back into his avatar and ran through a door, well more of an opening,.

"You better not be going where I think you are!" Zebani said rushing after him.

Tur ran back in, back in dog form, with an amulet in his fangs, set it down near the group and ran through a random entrance. Zebani came in after him and stopped for a moment to decide whether he would go after his treasure or his prey and picked prey.

"Run!" Bila said picking up the pendant.

They all ran out of the cave and in a flash of light Kendra and Seth were back at Fablehaven. The house was in ruins and the dead bodies of her family members were everywhere.
