Chapter 15

The tube that had sucked up the platypus-ized Kim spat her out to the ground.

Kim stood up and rubbed her rear, "Ow...I guess getting sucked up by a tube wouldn't be the weirdest thing that happened to me today, aside from the fact that two brothers of mine are going to get the ultimate grounding of their lives!"

She took in her new surroundings, a platypus-sized lair, but she hid behind one of the control panels.

"Whoa...this totally borders on the weird. A platypus-sized suit? A platypus-sized hoverjet?"

And then Kim took in an unusual sight: a platypus with a fedora talking with a white-mustached man with an olive-drab green uniform with the initials 'MM' on them.

"Okay...this just crossed over into the overloading of odd!"

Kim, unfortunately, spoke those words loud enough for the Major and Agent P to hear her.

"Ah...and here comes Miss Possible now!" Monogram said on-screen and turned his head around for Kim.

"Um, Miss Possible...can you please come out?"

Kim slowly came from behind the control panel that she hid in, in all of her platypus glory.

Monogram looked at her curiously, "Are you actually Miss Kim Possible, the secret agent girl that can do anything! I thought you would be well...you know...human."

"Truth be told, whoever you are, I was a human before two evil human beings transformed me into...this!"

"Mad scientists bent on taking over the world?" Monogram inquired.

"No, my brothers! This is exactly what happens to me when a rocket scientist and a brain surgeon bring twins onto Planet Earth!" Kim groaned, "And now I only have less than six hours before a date with my crush! He just has the sweetest eyes and his blonde hair is so...spikey! So if you have some experts around here that can help my tech friend Wade to reverse the effects, that'd be spankin'!"

"Well..." Monogram said, "..we do have Carl, our unpaid intern..."

"Sir, I can be of assistance! What's happening?" Carl said, coming on-screen.

"Carl, we have a teenaged girl trapped inside the body of a platypus!" Monogram explained the situation at hand to the late-teenaged intern.

Carl, however, was more attracted to the first part of Monogram's sentence.

"There's a teenaged girl?!" the intern excitedly shouted, and then got on his knee in a dramatic pose "Shall I help you in your time of need, O Fragile Damsel-In-Distress so that I can take you to the Summer Rocks concert?"

This peeved Kim a little, "First of all, I am not a fragile damsel in distress. I assume that you didn't read the info off of my site that I can do 16 types of kung-fu! And secondly is that I am already have a date to the concert! So sorry, Carl, but no dice for you!"

Carl sighed deeply in frustration. "Drat...I wanted to go out with a girl..."

"I apologize, Miss Possible." Monogram admitted, "Carl can get pretty hyped up whenever a beautiful female is around."

"So I see." Kim said, observing Carl's behavior.

Monogram continued as he made his introduction to the redheaded platypus. "Anyways, Miss Possible, it seems that I haven't formally introduced myself! My name is Major Monogram! I am the divisional leader of a top-secret government agency dedicated to defending the world from evil mad scientists!"

"Well nice to meet you, Major..." Kim replied as her eyes turned to Agent P, "And who's this?"

"Oh yes, this is one of our best agents in the entirety of OWCA's history. Miss Kim Possible, I would like to give you the honor of meeting Agent P!"

Agent P got off his seat and shook hands with Kim.

"Today is our annual 5th Team-Up-With-An-Outside-Agent Day, Miss Possible!" Monogram said, "For one day, we usually gather agents from OWCA and team them up with other agents, secret or non-secret, and put them out in the field. Usually, we do only teamups with other non-OWCA agents if the mission proves to be too big for our organization!"

"Um, hold a minute there, Major!" Kim exclaimed, "What the heck does OWCA even mean?"

"We are the Organization Without A Cool Acronym! As part of our mission, it is our sworn duty to save the world from evil mad scientists!" Monogram explained, as it was a part of OWCA's mission statement. "Agent P, Miss Possible, is our very best agent in the field! And it would be, in your own words, 'spakin', to see you two in action!"

Kim rolled her eyes and corrected Monogram, "It's 'spankin', Major."

"Understood, Miss Possible!" Monogram replied, acknowledging his spelling error.

"Let's see...let's see...what did I forget?" he then added, resting his fingers on his chin.

"Sir, the mission?" Carl asked offscreen.

"Huh? Oh right, I almost forgot! The mission!" Monogram said, realizing what he was supposed to do after introducing Kim to Agent P.

"Well, going on a world-saving mission with a platypus in a fedora would beat being humiliated by my cheerleading rival any time of the day!" Kim admitted before looking up at the screen of Monogram proclaiming the briefing.

Monogram cleared his throat and began, "We've received word that Doofenshmirtz is up to no good again! For reasons completely foreign to us, he has purchased the following items from the internet: 100 five-pound bags of sugar, about 20 tubes of hardening denture paste, and, most shocking of all, scrap metal parts from the junkyard of both his past devices and from that of Miss Possible's nemesis, Dr Drew P. Lipsky..."

"Drakken's past inventions? Man, whoever this Doofenshmirtz guy is, he could be considered either a genius or totally absent-minded. But why does he purchase them over the Internet?" Kim asked. "Isn't that like against the villain code?"

"It is still a mystery to us, Miss Possible, but still, when he combines those things together, trouble can't be far behind! So we need both you and Agent P to get to Doofenshmirtz's place to thwart his evil plan!"

"It's no big, Major! I'll make sure that whatever evil plan this Doofenshmirtz person will be stopped!" Kim proclaimed.

"Oh and one other thing, Miss Possible. Your tech friend has sent you a care package as well built for this mission!" Monogram continued as he pressed a button. A blue present began to arise from the floor of the lair. The present was about as big as her.

Kim looked at it curiously.

"Now why would Wade send me a present? It couldn't be my birthday today...unless..."

She opened up the top of the present and it revealed to be a platypus-sized version of her normal mission uniform. On the left of it was a more condensed-sized version of both her Kimmunicator and her hairdryer grappling gun, the two most vital tools of her trade. In addition, on the right of the mission uniform, stood a OWCA-issued fedora, the hat that all the agents normally wore. The only difference was that the brim was colored green to indicate a non-OWCA agent.

"Spankin'! I like what Wade did with the uniform!" Kim grinned, observing her new threads, "Especially the croptop!"

Turning to Agent P, she asked, "Agent P, do you have a changing room?"

Agent P chattered and pointed to the northern part of his lair, where the changing rooms were at.

"Oh, thanks, Agent P!" Kim smiled as she took the fedora and modified version of her normal mission outfit to the changing room.

(5 minutes later)

Kim changed into the new uniform, complete with the fedora.

"Alright...now to take care of this Doofenshmirtz fellow with Agent P!" Kim said.

No one was going to escape her determination, even when trapped in the body of a semi-aquatic mammal.
