Chapter 22
B: Right then and there, my life became an entire dumpster fire! I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening hours...ugh...scrubbing and cleaning toilets and gym floors!
C: Wow...talk about adding insult to injury.
B: And speaking of that...
And so, Bonnie, now in a janitor's jumpsuit, was forced to mop the gym foor while the storm raged outside. Kim was sipping on lemonade, taking in her victory over the former cheer captain.
"I think you missed a spot, B!" Kim smirked, pointing to the middle of the floor and taking another sip of the lemonade.
"This isn't over, K! I WILL have my revenge on you! Sweet...humiliating...revenge!" Bonnie growled, slopping the mop of wet water on the hardwood floors.
"You know, B, that floor isn't going to clean itself..."
All of a sudden, Ron entered in with his new pet, Rufus! Not only that, but he was holding a bag containing items from Bueno Nacho in it. His shoes were also tracking mud from outside. The BN bag began to drip with cheese and Diablo sauce onto the hardwood floors. Bonnie's jaw dropped and her right eye began to twitch.
"Hey, KP! Look at what I brought! Chimmeritos for me and a side salad just for you!"
"Ron. why is the bag leaking cheese?" Kim asked about the dripping bag.
"I think I may have overloaded on the cheese! I know that your salad is in some plastic container..." Ron said while taking out the plastic container that held Kim's salad. "Ah, here it is, KP!"
"Aww...thanks, Ron!" Kim grinned as she too the salad container. She brushed off the extra cheese with a napkin. Luckily for her, it didn't seep into the salad and alternate the nutritional content.
Ron, meanwhile, took out his Chimmerito and gave some of it to Rufus. He then took a bite of his own as well.
"Yummy!" the young mole rat squeaked.
Bonnie was still in disbelief over the mess that Ron made on the gym floor.
She said nothing but collapsed on the ground and began to cry. This day was not going well at all.
Kim and Ron shrugged it off and continued eating their food.
(5 hours later)
Bonnie, with rain still pouring down on her, finally made it to the Rockwaller house. Her hair and clothes were sopping wet and she was smelly from all the toilets she had to clean at the locker room with flies buzzing around her. She didn't want to know what was there in those toilets, anyways.
Frustrated by an extremely awful day, she shooed the flies away.
"Ugh! Get out my hair!" the brunette complained, brushing away the flies. She knocked three times on the door. Veronica opened the door up, complete with a stern look on her face. Two other girls were there, eating what's left of their dinner.
"Bon-Bon, it's about time you got home! I hope you learned your lesson about making fun of your fellow classmates!" Veronica huffed.
"But it's no FAIR! Kim was the one who ruined what was supposed to be my perfect day!" Bonnie complained to her mom, but she wasn't listening.
"I don't want to hear it, Bonnie! Now you march up to your room...right before this news segment!" Veronica countered before sitting down on the sofa to watch the news. "Ooooh, this is my favorite part of the news...the baby picture segment!"
Bonnie rolled her eyes and said "At least I still have a shred of dignity left..." She was about to head
"Oooooooh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" Veronica exclaimed.
"What is it, Mom?" Bonnie sighed.
"You look soooooo cute!" Veronica shouted, repeatedly pointing to the TV.
Bonnie looked around and gasped in horror. It was her baby photos being featured on the local news!
"Wha...how...why..." Bonnie stuttered. She was speechless of how those condemning photos of her with spaghetti sauce all over her mouth got featured on the news.
"How did THEY even get there?!"
Then the snorts of giggling and chuckling proved the answer to her question. They were from the two young women eating their leftover dinner of...spaghetti.
"It was you two loser sisters all along!" Bonnie screamed at them.
Connie and Lonnie Rockwaller were entering into their senior year of Middleton High at that time. They usually get a lot of pleasure tormenting and torturing their younger sister.
"Hey...it wasn't our fault that your photos were on the ground at MHS." Connie said in-between snorts.
"It was...as the old saying goes...finders keepers, losers weepers!" Lonnie giggled.
"This is cruel and unjust! I'm going to be laughed at by my classmates!" Bonnie whined.
However, Connie and Lonnie didn't give any sympathy to Bonnie. The vile pair of sisters then began to throw spaghetti noodles at the young brunette. Tears began to flow from Bonnie's eyes from all that had been heaped upon her in the past two days as she ran to her room.
