Chapter 28

(2:25pm)

Candace, Stacy, and Bonnie all entered into the Club Banana of the Googolplex Mall. Bonnie wasn't surprised that the well-known store would be stocked with the latest fashions of summer. Candace and Stacy, on the other hand, were awestruck by the many different varieties of clothes that Club Banana has to offer.

"Wow...I...I don't know where to begin!" Candace said, almost letting her jaw drop.

"They just put all my other outfits to shame!" Stacy added. She was almost as surprised as her best friend was.

"Oh, Candy girl, we'll start on the left side of the store and go clockwise until we get the perfect outfits for you two!" Bonnie suggested, "And one other strong suggestion."

"What would that be, Bonnie?" Candace asked.

"Don't ever get cargo pants! That's more of the style of Possible. I definitely didn't look good in them when the wannabe's threads came on the fashion market!" Bonnie replied. She wanted the girls to look their best without looking like her archrival.

The brunette got out the shopping list she made earlier and all three girls dived into the splash of summer sales that awaited them.

At the antiques convention, around the same time, Linda and Lawrence were observing a brass coin that had been used during the 1910s.

"This coin rather looks fancy with Teddy Roosevelt's face on it." Lawrence replied, "And it's the only one ever minted! I feel so happy today!"

"Me too as well!" Linda agreed, while getting out her phone, "So far, I haven't heard even a single call from Candace about busting the boys today!"

"Perhaps we can go for ice cream!" Lawrence said.

"Yeah, I think we can both do that!" Linda said, grinning. "The concession stand's in the front of the convention center and I have a 5!" She wave a $5 bill in the air.

Lawrence took the bill and said, "I'll pay for the both of us!"

Ron, Rufus, Isabella, the Fireside Girls, and Baljeet made their way towards Slushy Burger. As Isabella had mentioned, an 18-wheeler truck carrying boxes upon boxes of sugar was parked in the lot.

"I still don't think we're gonna get that sugar." Ron said, still doubting. "He's not, like, going to give it away for free!"

Rufus squeaked, "Me too."

"Watch and learn, Ron!" Isabella smiled.

Isabella and the Fireside Girls knocked on the door and Joe, the drive of the truck, came out. He was a man in his mid 30s and had brown hair and had assisted Phineas and Ferb on previous projects.

"Hey, Isabella!"

"Hey, Joe! Got the sugar ready?"

"Oh yes! I have one truckload of sugar for Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher." Joe replied, taking out his clipboard. Isabella took the pen and signed the document.

"Excuse me..." Ron asked, "...but aren't those kids a little young to be receiving all that sugar?"

"Yes, yes they are." Joe replied before asking Isabella, "Is he new to the town?"

"Nope, he and Kim Possible are babysitting the Flynn-Fletchers for today." Isabella replied, squealing while speaking of Kim.

"Ah yes, Miss Possible's name does ring a bell. She rescued my puppy from a tree just last week back in Middleton!" Joe recalled before stepping back into the truck. "I should be at Phineas' house in just ten minutes!"

"We should be on schedule then!" Isabella proclaimed. "Okay, Fireside Girls, let's get back to Phineas' house and do our part with the cotton candy! Ron and Baljeet, follow us!"

Ron and Baljeet replied, "Yes, Isabella." and followed the Fireside Girls back to the Flynn-Fletcer place.
