Hello everyone! This is the first real chapter of this fic. I tweaked some stuff, but it's mostly the same. The scene at the beginning is the only new addition.
First of all, I'm not accepting any OCs. I will use the ones who are already present in the old version tho. One of them is Noah Drake, the OC sent by Tamer of The Zero Unit. For more info about his appearance in this chapter, check A Quest For a Friend.
Enjoy!
(Opening Song: Der größte Träumer by Digimon Tamers)
File 1.
Welcome to the Hackers
He was sitting in his office, looking at the monitor. He rose his head as he noticed a woman walking in, along with a Black PawnChesmon.
''Sir, everything is ready for the newcomers,'' the woman said.
''Good. What about… our special DigiEggs?'' he asked.
''They're secure and ready to be given away to the newcomers,'' the woman replied. He grinned.
''Excellent. All we have to do is bring our two new team members. The other two have already arrived, right?''
The woman nodded.
''Good. You can leave now,'' he told her. The Black PawnChesmon saluted and left along with his partner. He looked at the monitor, showing him the images of two young girls.
''So, these are the ones who are capable of taming our two special Digimon?'' he muttered. Behind him, a Keramon rose, cackling and holding two D-Powers.
''Ah, yes. We should get going,'' he said.

"And Impmon Digivolves to Beelzemon, who deletes your Okuwamon and absorbs him! Bada-Boom! Thanks for the data!'' a girl exclaimed, slamming the card down.
''Aw, nuts. Not again.'' Her opponent, a boy about her age, sighed. His partner, Shoutmon, placed a paw on his shoulder.
''Well, you can't always win.'' He shrugged.
''I know, but this is the fifth time I lost,'' the boy replied, looking back at the girl who was grinning.
''Well, what can I say? I'm unbeatable!'' the girl replied. ''Cheer up, at least you can still compete at the Digimon Rumble Arena Tournament, while I can't.''
''You still have no partner?'' the boy asked her.
''No.'' The girl shook her head. ''My parents are afraid I'll get killed or something like that if I go to the DigiWorld alone.''
''Nevermind. You'll sure get a partner one day,'' the boy replied.
''Hope so.'' She smiled. ''And then we'll have a real battle.''
''I can't wait for that!'' Shoutmon twirled his microphone, taking a battle-pose.
The girl was Bunya Arisa, a 13-year old with brown hair tied in two low pigtails with black ribbons. She also had brown eyes. She wore a black top, a white miniskirt and black tights which reached her knees, black gloves with the fingers cut, black-white sneakers and a white scarf.
The boy was known as Akiyama Taito, who was Arisa's friend. He was a 13-year old boy with black hair and brown eyes. He had a white-red baseball cap, turned backwards and wore a red-white T-shirt and brown trousers. Different than Arisa, he was a Digimon Tamer, with Shoutmon as his partner and had a white D-Power with a dark red strap, buttons and ring. He often played the Digimon TCG with Arisa as she had no partner.
Currently, they were in the park in DigiCity, Japan. DigiCity was located near Tokyo, a town built by the goverment after the war between humans and Digimon ended.
''So, wanna a rematch?'' Arisa asked, grinning smugly. There was no way Taito could beat her, not with her special combo, which involved the above mentioned Beelzemon card.
''Nah, I have to go home now. I still have some homework to catch up,'' Taito replied, collecting his cards.
''In other words, he's afraid he'll get beaten again,'' Shoutmon said, chuckling.
''Shoutmon!'' Taito yelled at his partner.
''Whatever. Anyways, thanks for the Yukidarumon card,'' Arisa waved with it. ''It'll be useful.''
''Just don't enjoy your victory for too long. Next time, you're done,'' Taito told her. ''And I'm serious about the homework. Yukimi-sensei will be mad if I don't bring her the essay I forgot to bring her last week.''
''Okay then. See ya at school!'' Arisa said. Taito and Shoutmon waved as they left.
The girl was now alone in the park, collecting her cards. She picked the Beelzemon card up.
''I wish I had a partner.'' She sighed, looking at the card. ''But…''
She picked her backpack with her cards and slowly walked back home. She wasn't from DigiCity. Actually, her hometown was Yokohama, but her parents moved over when she was little. They set up a store and were selling Digimon Cards. Aside from just being used to play a card game, the Digimon Cards were also for powering up a Tamer's Digimon partner, also known as Digi-Modifying. Arisa hated working in her family store, but she would occasionally help out, sometimes even giving new Tamers advice on how to use which card.
She waited at the crossroad, noticing a black car with tinted windows passing. She took her phone out, plugging in the ear buds and listening to Days (Aijou to Nichijou), a song from the anime Digimon Tamers. She looked at the sky, watching the clouds move.
''One day, I'll become a Tamer,'' she vowed. She had the knowledge and skills for becoming a Tamer, but she lacked a partner. While she knew which Digimon she wanted, she knew that there was a slim chance she'll get her wish granted; even if the DigiGnomes knew it.
A black car passed again.
Arisa shuddered, feeling slightly unnerved by it. She had been seeing the same black car for days. She tried to ignore it, but her gut told her that she should pay attention to it. However, nothing happened in the past few days, so she let her guard down.
After all, what could happen?

Relieved to see the familiar family store, Arisa jogged down the street and entered it, with a bell ringing.
''I'm back!'' she yelled, taking the ear buds out. In the store was her father, along with a costumer. It was a boy, about her age, with short black hair.
"Hello Arisa!" Her father was standing behind the counter. "How's school going?"
"Oh good. Nothin' new. Well, I'm going to my room," Arisa said with a small grin.
She maintained the facade in order to escape from whatever job her father might give her. Seeing there was only one customer there, she had luck. Had the store been crowded, she would've been in trouble. As she passed by, she felt the boy's cold stare. She ignored it.
"Your mum told me to tell you that, if you're hungry, dinner is in the fridge," her father added.
"Ok."
Arisa sighed, walking up the stairs behind the counter. They led to the apartment above the store. She decided to grab the food later and went straight into her room. At one corner, there was a bunk-bed placed and underneath it was a sofa. Next to the bed was a table with a shelf with her books, CDs and DVDs. On the wall was a big poster with the logo of her favorite anime, Digimon Tamers. There was a Calumon picture in the corner of the poster. Her room also had a balcony.
She threw the backpack on her bed and stretched, glancing through the window. She froze as she saw the black car again. The boy also stood there, glaring at the car and looking back at her house. Arisa wondered if he saw her. She then heard ringing down at the store.
She went to the staircase, noticing two guys in black suits and black sunglasses entering the store. She hid as they walked over to her father, who was joined by her mother. They seemed to be worried, just as she was. Sure as hell, they weren't customers. However, from the position she was at, she couldn't hear what they were talking about. She wanted to know what's going on.
''What?! You want Arisa to join the Hackers Organisation? But, why her?'' Arisa's father exclaimed with a shocked expression.
Arisa's eyes widened when she heard it. The Hackers Organisation was a famous organisation where the strongest and most talented Tamers (they actually were called Hackers) and Digimon worked. There were rumors that they worked on some of the newest gadgets and weapons. It was quite a surprise that they wanted Arisa to be a part of it. However, she wasn't special or anything like that. Heck, she didn't even have a Digimon partner! Why would they want her to join in?
''She has been observed for a while and we decided to choose her to join our newest team of Hackers,'' the guy with short, blonde hair, said. Arisa recognized him as Yung Ikuto, the leader of the organisation. It wasn't that hard as he'd sometimes appear on the TV during interviews.
Then the realization hit her – the black car… it belonged to the Hackers Organisation! She remembered the strange symbol on it, face-palming for not recognizing it.
''But… she's only a kid,'' Arisa's mother said. ''I don't want to send my child on dangerous missions. Especially since she doesn't have her own Digimon partner.''
Arisa sighed. Well, had her mother approved to let her go to one of the towns in the DigiWorld to get a partner, they wouldn't be in this situation now.
''Don't worry, Bunya-san. We have a youth group with Hackers who are her age. She won't be alone,'' Yung explained. ''Also, if she doesn't have a Digimon partner, she will get one.''
Arisa dropped her jaw, smiling.
She'll get her own Digimon partner?! She couldn't believe it.
''She will also attend a special private school with her partner,'' Yung continued. ''You should be honored that your daughter was accepted to join our Organisation.''
''I agree with that… but we first need to discuss it with our daughter,'' Arisa's father said.
''You don't have to.'' The four turned, only to see Arisa walking over to them. ''I heard everything and I'll gladly join the Hackers Organisation.''
''I'm glad to hear that.'' Yung gave her a smug smirk. ''Your parents should be proud of you.''
Arisa didn't buy the you should be honored speech. She didn't really want to be a part of that organisation, but if it was the only way to finally get a Digimon partner, she'll do it. She observed Yung as he talked to her parents about the advantages and rules at the Organisation. The smirk on his face never left.
For some reason, she didn't feel right, but ignored that gut feeling. Yung turned to her.
''We'll have to do some paperwork, but after that, you'll become an official member.''
Arisa felt the blue eyes staring at her while he was still grinning. She didn't like it.
At all.
''Well,… Welcome to the Hackers!''
(Ending Song: Keep On by Digimon Adventure)
Arisa here! So yeah, I'm joining the Hackers Organisation and next time, I'm finally gonna get a partner. However, it turns out this one isn't quite co-operative. Nor are my new team members…
Anyways, stay tuned for File 2: New Friends, New Partners,… New Enemies?!
Don't miss it!
