And I'm back!
Anyways, this chapter was based on two chapters from the old version and I changed the dialogue and the plot a bit here. It'll re-introduce old characters and I changed a bit the personalities of certain characters. E.g, Yaamon is more antagonstic towards Arisa than he was in the old version. Also, I think the battle here was even better than in the original one. But I'll leave it to you guys to decide.

''Oi, Arisa! Wake up!''
''Just five more minutes, mum…'' Arisa muttered, still asleep, turning to the other side.
''Hey, I'm not your mum! Com'n, wake up!''
''Yaamon… stop it…'' Arisa mumbled as she felt her partner tackling her.
Yaamon pouted.
''Geez, you're worse than Belph,'' He muttered. Then he grinned. He jumped onto the table and started creating a small ball of darkness.
''Rolling Black!''
The ball was small enough to not cause damage, but strong enough to harm Arisa, making her jump out of her bed.
''What the hell?!'' Arisa glared at Yaamon who was laughing. ''What were you thinking?!''
''I couldn't wake you up,'' Yaamon pouted. ''And now you're gonna be late.''
''Since when are you concerned about me arriving late?'' Arisa grumbled as she went to the closet with her clothes.
''I wasn't. I just wanted to annoy you,'' Yaamon smiled mischievously. Arisa shoot him a death glare. ''Hey!''
He jumped out of harms way as Arisa chucked a shirt at him. He frowned.
''Payback,'' She said, going into the bathroom and changing into her new school uniform.
''He-hey! Let me out of this thing!'' Yaamon yelled, only to get completely ignored. Arisa quickly put on her uniform, and grabbed her D-Power and her deck. Yaamon meanwhile managed to wiggle himself out of the blanket.
''Thanks for nothing,'' Yaamon grumbled. And so did his empty stomach.
''I think we still have enough time to go to the canteen.'' Arisa's eyes widened as she looked at the clock. ''Or not!''
She grabbed Yaamon and ran out.
''Hey, what about breakfast?!'' he yelled.
''We're late!'' Arisa responded. The later just sweat-dropped.

The classroom was on the 4th floor and Arisa ran, hoping that she'd find it in time. She walked through the corridor, wondering which one it was.
''Geez, this ain't what I imagined for my first day at the Hackers Organisation,'' Arisa muttered.
''You're hopeless,'' Yaamon pouted.
She then noticed the Black PawnChessmon, Megumi's partner, looking around and guarding a door.
''Eh, hello? Could you help me?'' Arisa approached the Black PawnChessmon. The latter merely glanced at her and pointed his spear at the door he was guarding. Arisa blinked in surprise. ''Eh, thanks. I guess.''
She quickly entered the classroom, which was much smaller than the ones in the public school in DigiCity. She looked around, noticing that Akira, Akari and Ken were already sitting at their own desks, along with their evolved partners: Koromon, Nyaromon and Minomon. Arisa looked at the front desk, only to see that Megumi was glaring at her.
''I'm sorry I'm late!'' Arisa got startled.
''At least she remembered to put the school uniform on,'' Akari whispered to Ken and Akira. Ken and the Digimon chuckled, while Akira had still that stoic expression on his face.
''Please be quiet,'' Megumi shoot a glare at Akari and turned to Arisa. ''Even though this is your first day, I won't let it pass. As you know, discipline is one of the key elements that make a good, no, a superior Hacker.''
''And I thought it was just about babbling about techno stuff which nobody understands,'' Yaamon muttered sarcastically.
He sweat-dropped when Megumi shoot him a glare. The woman was scary.
''That also means that you are responsible for the actions of your partner,'' Megumi added. ''Both of you will, for your detention, clean up the classroom after classes end. Alone and without any help.''
''Thanks a lot,'' Arisa muttered sarcastically, glaring at Yaamon. The latter just frowned.
''And how is that supposed to help us become a better team?'' Yaamon persisted, while Arisa was silently panicking.
''You're responsible for your Hacker, just as your Hacker is responsible for you. Everything what she has to do, you'll do it as well,'' Megumi then grinned deviously. ''Besides, cleaning up the classroom will give you time to think about what you did. Now take your seats.''
Akari and Nyaromon giggled as Arisa and Yaamon passed them to get to their seats. Arisa and Yaamon both stuck out their tongue in defiance, resulting from a frown from Akari and Nyaromon.
''Tsk, kids,'' Akari muttered.
''Before we start the class, I'll introduce myself. I'm Akaiyame Megumi, your sensei. As you see, we have four classes or levels here. Level one is Class R, level two is Class C, level three is Class U, and level four is Class M. The letters R, C, U, M represent the main levels of a Digimon. R stands for Rookie, C for Champion, U for Ultimate and M for Mega. You are in Class R now, the class for begginers. During your stay here, you'll learn and aquire news skills and your Digimon will reach a higher level. You'll then take tests in order to advance to the next level. Understood?''
''Yes!''
Arisa yawned.
''Geez, this'll be boring. Why did I even agree to join this organisation?'' she thought as she looked at Yaamon, who looked like he was about to fall asleep. ''Ah, yes. Because of this guy.''
''For today's lesson, I'll introduce you to some of the basics. Then we'll head over to the training gym to see how strong your partners currently are,'' Megumi said. ''One of your lessons here will be how to hack into a system.
Arisa rose her hand.
''Yes, Bunya-san?''
''Why should we know stuff like this hacking-thing?'' Arisa asked.
''Because you should know how to hack into a system in the case of emergency,'' Megumi answered.
''Okaaay,…'' Arisa frowned. ''But I still don't get it.''
The class continued and Arisa slowly started to envy Yaamon for his ability to sleep through the entire session. He wasn't the Demon Lord of Sloth, that was sure, but it was still amazing how ignorant he could be.
''Now, we're going to the training gym,'' Megumi said. ''Well have battles in order to see how strong your partners are and if they have the potential to digivolve soon.''
Arisa chuckled when Yaamon woke up instantly. She kinda figured that he'd get interested once the world ''battle'' was said. The four Hackers and their partners followed Megumi and Black PawnChessmon to the training facility, which was on the same floor as their classroom was. It was a small arena with a parquet floor and several seats. Black PawnChessmon stood next to the door, once again assuming his guard stance, while Megumi turned to the four Hackers.
''You'll get separated into two groups and your training partner is also your opponent,'' Megumi told them. ''First group consists of Fuji and Minomon and Tatekawa and Koromon. Second group consists of Bunya and Yaamon and Inoue and Nyaromon. You will not use any cards for this battle session.''
''Sounds fair…'' Ken muttered and looked at Akira. ''What do you say, Tatekawa-kun?''
''Whatever,'' Akira shrugged.
''Now, take your positions,'' Megumi told them, with Akira and Ken going to their respective sides of the arena. Their partners assumed a fighting stance.
''Ready? Fight!'' Megumi exclaimed.
"Bubble Blow!" Koromon made the first step. He blasted some bubbles towards Minomon who jumped and escaped the attack.
''Bubble Blow!'' Koromon attacked Minomon one more time, who jumped by side. This made the little Koromon angry.
"Stay still!" he growled, sending a few more bubbles towards Minomon.
"Catch me!" Minomon exclaimed, escaping the attack, and making Koromon look like a fool. Ken grinned and looked towards Akira, who gritted his teeth.
''You're not so good at battling, huh?'' Ken mocked him. ''Ever heard of strategies.
''Get him Koromon!'' Akira exclaimed. Koromon rushed towads Minomon.
''Not this time.'' Ken adjusted his glasses. ''Now, Minomon!''
Minomon quickly got out of the way by jumping. Koromon was dumbstruck.
''Pinecone!'' Minomon threw a pinecone-bomb which hit Koromon, causing an fire-cracker type of an explosion. Even though the attack did do damage, Koromon was still willing to battle, much to Ken's surprise and Akira's relief.
"Bubble Blow!"
"Worm Barrier!" Now Minomon created a barrier to dodge Koromon's attack.
As the barrier disappeared, Koromon rushed and tackled Minomon. The two Digimon struggled and it seemed like no one wanted to give up. Arisa, who watched the battle together with Yaamon, Akari and Nyaromon, thought that the battle between the tiny In-Trainings was a bit odd.
"That's enough," Megumi said calmly. The boys and the Digimon looked confused at her. ''I see that you have a lot of potential. Fuji-kun and Minomon are of course better strategists, but Tatekawa-kun and Koromon have a strong battle spirit. I expect you to train hard.''
''Yes, Megumi-sensei…'' The boys and their Digimon muttered. Megumi turned to Arisa and Akari.
''Now, let's see what you two and your partners can do,'' Megumi said and looked at Nyaromon and Yaamon. ''And only because you two are Demon Lords, don't expect any special treatment. You're here at the same level as everyone else.''
Yaamon and Nyaromon nodded with firm expressions on their faces. Everyone went to their respective side.
''We're gonna beat you two up,'' Akari smirked.
''Forget it,'' Arisa frowned.
Yaamon and Nyaromon stared at each other.
''Let's see who the stronger one is,'' Nyaromon smirked. ''Ugh, I forgot – I am!''
''Hahaha, really funny, Lilith,'' Yaamon replied sarcastically. He frowned. ''You're just an In-Training, you idiot.''
''What did you call me?!'' Nyaromon growled.
''Idiot! Idiot! Idiot!'' Yaamon mocked her.
''You'll regret what you said,'' Nyaromon growled.
''Aw, com'n! And I didn't warm up yet,'' Yaamon grinned.
Arisa noted that Yaamon was quite confident in his power. Seeing Akari and Nyaromon this angry was pretty funny.
"Ready? Fight!" Megumi exclaimed.
"Rolling Black!" Yaamon shouted, forming a black orb of energy and shot it towards Nyaromon.
''Tail Whip!'' Nyaromon smashed the orb into nothing with her tail. She gave a death glare to Yaamon, with the latter gulping. He sorta forgot that Lilith could get quite scary when she's angry.
''Ugh, that's nothing! Smash this!'' Yaamon gathered his energy. ''Rolling Black!''
This time, he shoot three black orbs of energy towards her. The angry kitten-like Digimon dodged two of the robs and smashed the third with another Tail Whip.
"Galactica Magnum Tail!"
Using all her power, she hit Yaamon, who flew all they way across the room and hit the wall, leaving a crack.
''Yaamon!'' Arisa cried out, shocked. She saw Digimon battles, but she didn't know an In-Training could be so brutal.
''I-I'm okay…'' Yaamon muttered.
''I told you you'd regret it!'' Nyaromon growled, flames in her eyes.
Suddenly, she started to glow, covered into a light purple ''egg''.
DIGIVOLUTION!
''Nyaromon digivolves to… Salamon!''
Akari stared at the white puppy-like Rookie Digimon in shock and awe. She then grinned.
''Okay, Salamon, let's finish them right off!''
''With pleasure!'' Salamon grinned. ''Sledge Crash!''
Arisa's eyes widened when she realized that Salamon was running towards Yaamon, who still was recovering from the last attack. She looked at Megumi, who just glanced at her coldly. The sensei wasn't going to break up the fight, even if it looked bad for Yaamon.
''No way!'' Arisa, to everyone's surprise, ran towards where Yaamon was, grabbing the Lesser-type Digimon and jumping outta way, just as Salamon was about to ram Yaamon. Instead, Salamon crashed into the wall.
''Lilith!'' Akari cried out.
''I… am… fine…'' Salamon staggered, seeing little Calumon's flying around her head. She then fell over.
''This was close!'' Arisa gulped. She looked down at Yaamon, who seemed to be quite surprised that Arisa saved him. She smiled.
''Bunya!''
Arisa froze and looked at Megumi, who looked pretty mad.
''What do you think you're doing?!'' Megumi said in a harsh tone. ''Nobody told you to interfere!''
''But, sensei,…'' Arisa wanted to protest, but Megumi cut her off.
''This is a Digimon battle and you, the human partner, are staying at the side-lines! That's how the rules are. There's no interfering. If your partner is getting deleted, then so be it. It only shows just how bad you are as a Hacker,'' Megumi reprimanded her.
''Screw the rules…'' Arisa muttered under her breath. Only Yaamon heard her, and he was quite surprised. He knew how harsh the battles could be, but the fact that a human girl would save him from his own doom was new to him.
''Also, I have to say that I'm impressed, Inoue-san and Salamon,'' Megumi smiled as she looked at Akari and Salamon. ''Reaching the Rookie-level just after a day after hatching is quite an achievement. I believe I can expect a lot from you.''
''Thank you, Megumi-sensei,'' Akari smiled and bowed politely. She then gave a sly grin to Arisa, who glared back. Arisa didn't care if she lost this mock-battle.
However, she wouldn't forgive any of the Hackers for reminding her she was a bad partner.

''Stupid sensei…'' Arisa muttered as she wiped the floor with the mop inside the classroom. Yaamon, who was eating his part of the lunch, was silent. ''What the hell's wrong with interfering into battles when the partner is in pinch? Whoever made up those rules was an idiot!''
''I dunno…'' Yaamon muttered. Arisa looked at him, a bit surprised.
''What do you mean?'' she asked. Yaamon glanced at her.
''That was my battle,'' he said. ''If I was already going to get beaten up, it was my fault.''
''But…'' Arisa blinked in surprise. She frowned. ''That doesn't make any sense!''
''Well it does!'' Yaamon growled. ''I already told you I don't care about any of this partner stuff! I battle on my own! I always have! So stay away!''
Arisa was angry. Nobody will command her around like that!
''You idiot! What the hell do you mean you battle on your own?! We're partners now, ain't we? So we battle together.'' Arisa growled. Yaamon glanced away. Arisa gritted her teeth. ''You're so… stubborn! If you really don't want a partner then fine! I don't want you either!''
''I never was seeking for one anyways!'' Yaamon jumped off the desk and hopped away.
Arisa glared angrily at him until he vanished, then slammed the mop onto the floor. She was so angry at him for not understanding her motives. If he wants to get deleted, then so be it!
She didn't care.
''Stupid, little, stubborn… Baka!'' Arisa muttered angrily. She wanted his best, but he wouldn't accept.
''The Demon Lords…'' she muttered. ''They don't care about anyone or anything. Perhaps it was good they got deleted.''
''I battle on my own! I always have! So stay away!''
She remembered Yaamon's words. She calmed down a bit as they repeated in her head.
''Battling on his own. Always…'' she sighed. ''Perhaps, I'm the idiot. Yaamon doesn't know it any better, after all…''
She put on a determined expression.
''I'm gonna get him back,'' She muttered, throwing the mop away and exiting the room.

''Stupid human girl…'' Yaamon growled as he made his way through the building. ''I never asked for any of it.''
Even though he wasn't the Demon Lord of Pride, it did hurt him that he was so weak. Even Lilith, who was considered to be the weakest in their group, beat him with ease.
''I'll become stronger on my own and then, everyone'll see!'' he frowned.

Arisa held up her D-Power. A small red dot showed her Yaamon's position. She felt sorry she yelled at him. However, letting a Digimon battle without any aid from the partner – it felt so wrong. She wanted to help him, even if she'd get endangered. It may be all those Digimon Animes she watched, but she felt she was obligated to battle with her partner, in one or another way.
''Huh?'' Arisa stopped as she stared at the tag at the door she stood in front of. It was the 5th floor, where only U- and M-Class Hackers were allowed to enter. Yaamon somehow snuck in.
''I don't care,'' Arisa muttered and entered the floor. She knew she'd get into trouble for this, but she didn't care.
She wanted her partner back.
''Hey, what are you doing here?'' she suddenly heard a male voice behind her and froze.
She turned slowly around, seeing a blonde, 14-year old guy, with blue eyes, a shirt, a brown vest and jeans. He was accompanied by a blue dog Digimon with a red head-band and boxing gloves.
''Ugh, oh…'' Arisa gulped.

''Ugh, now where?'' Yaamon wondered. He got lost inside the building. He sweat-dropped, beating himself up for leaving Arisa without asking her where the exit was. He heard somebody coming and hid. He frowned as he saw two Hackers, both U-Class, walking down the corridor. They were accompanied by an Otamamon and Aruraumon.
''Really, those people in the lab should better watch out for what they're doing,'' the guy whose partner was Otamamon muttered.
''They're idiots. One of the Digimon escapes and we get the duty to find it. How pathetic,'' the one whose partner was Aruraumon sighed.
''Well, they said we could delete it, if we wanted,'' Otamamon smirked.
''Heh, I can't wait till I get my hands on it's data,'' Aruruamon grinned.
Yaamon gulped as they got away.
''Just, what the hell is going on here?'' he muttered. He felt like nobody here could be trusted.

''I'm sorry!'' Arisa bowed. ''I was searching for my partner and I… P-please, don't tell anyone!''
''Hey, hey, calm down…'' the boy said. ''Please, introduce yourself first and tell me what's going on.''
''I'm Bunya Arisa, and I'm searching for my partner, Yaamon,'' Arisa rose up her D-Power. ''We had an argument and he ran away. The radar on my D-Power says that he's somewhere here.''
''I see.'' The boy nodded. ''My name is Kamiya Thomas. This is my partner, Gaomon.''
Gaomon nodded.
''Nice to meet you,'' Arisa said. ''Could you please help me find Yaamon?''
Thomas nodded.
''Really? Thanks!'' Arisa said.
''Now, now, it's okay,'' Thomas smiled. ''I guess you're new here. Probably still have some trouble getting along with your partner.''
''You said it, Kamiya-san,'' Arisa told him. She noticed that he was an U-Class Hacker, thanks to the mark on his vest.
''Please, refer to me as Thomas-kun. No need for formalities,'' Thomas told her. ''Now, what did actually happen? Why did your partner run away?''
''Well, we had a training session at the gym and I interfered,'' Arisa said. ''Salamon was about to hurt Yaamon, but I jumped in and got him away from harm. And Akaiyama-sensei reprimanded me for doing that. And Yaamon too. He said it was his battle, but that stubborn idiot just doesn't understand that it's not only him who's battling.''
''Are you really a rookie?''
Arisa blinked as she looked up at Thomas.
''A lot of Hacker's minds are focused on just getting the job done, rather than their or their partner's safety. I'm surprised you're rebelling against that system,'' Thomas told her.
''Well, the only reason I came here was because I was promised I'd get a partner. Nothing else. Not to mention, I kinda forget that anime is different from real life,'' Arisa said. Thomas grinned.
''You remind me a bit of my sister,'' He muttered.
''You have a sister?'' Arisa looked surprised.
''Yes.'' Thomas nodded. ''She's 13 years old and has a Renamon for her partner. Her name's René. She really cares about her partner and so does Renamon. They do get into trouble though.''
''I see. That's nice.'' Arisa giggled. The signal on her D-Power became stronger.
Then, it started glowing in a red color. Arisa's eyes widened.
''Oh, no…'' she started to run towards where the dot was, leaving Thomas and Gaomon behind.
''Hey, wait!'' Thomas yelled after her, but she didn't listen.
She knew Yaamon was in trouble.

''Hmmm, a Digimon has escaped… Wonder why…'' Yaamon muttered as he passed an empy corridor. He saw movement in the nearby room, feeling a presence.
''A Digimon?'' he got curious and hopped inside.
''Ehehehehehe!''
Yaamon narrowed his eyes. The room was covered in red light and a Digimon was working behind a computer. It was a a grey humanoid parasite like Digimon, having a wide grin on his face. Yaamon gulped.
Wasn't that… Yung's partner, Keramon?
Keramon suddenly turned around.
''Now, now, have we abandoned our Hacker?'' Keramon asked.
''That's none of your business!'' Yaamon yelled at him.
''But it is… Because I eat little helpless Digimon like you!'' Keramon gave a high-pitched giggle.
''I'm not helpless!'' Yaamon yelled. ''Rolling Black!''
Yaamon fired a dark orb of energy at Keramon, who merely slapped it away, sending it back to Yaamon.
''You think you have a chance against me, Demon Lord? You're pathetic!'' Keramon told him. ''The way you're now, you'll never beat me! Bug Blaster!''
He fired exploding bullets from his mouth at Yaamon. The Lesser Digimon tried to dodge the bullets, but got hit anyways. He slowly realized that in the shape he's now, he couldn't beat Keramon.
''I-I… I need to digivolve…'' Yaamon muttered.
He went through a lot in his whole life. A mere Rookie won't stop him from becoming stronger.
''Crazy Turn!'' Keramon extended his arms, punching Yaamon away.
The Lesser Digimon hit the wall, falling down. His whole body hurt. He couldn't move.
''Still not deleted, heh? I admit, you're a stubborn foe,'' Keramon said. ''But not for long!''
He prepared for another Crazy Turn attack, just as somebody broke in.
''Leave him alone!'' Arisa yelled, stepping in front of Yaamon.
''Oh, so your Hacker's here,'' Keramon said, still having that slasher grin on his face. ''This fight might turn into something better.''
''Wh-what are you doing here?'' Yaamon asked Arisa as she turned to him.
''I'm so sorry I yelled at you. I should've known better,'' Arisa said, much to Yaamon's surprise. ''You said you fight alone, so you never experienced how it is to fight with somebody along your side.''
''I said I don't need you…''
''I don't care,'' Arisa replied firmly.
''How cute.''
Arisa and Yaamon looked at Keramon.
''Now, you two, why don't you show me your real power?'' Keramon said. ''Either that, or prepare to be deleted!''
''Ready?'' Arisa looked at Yaamon.
''No,'' Yaamon replied. ''But I don't want to get deleted either.''
''Hey, what's going on here?'' Thomas and Gaomon suddenly appeared at the door.
''Don't interfere!'' Keramon fired a Bug Blast at Gaomon, who got hit with it, falling on his back.
''Gaomon!'' Thomas ran to his partner.
''Oh, no…'' Arisa felt bad for getting Thomas and Gaomon into this situation.
''It's only between you and me,'' Keramon said, staring at Yaamon. The latter jumped out of Arisa's arms.
''Bring it on, bed bug,'' Yaamon taunted him.
''Bug Blast!''
''Rolling Black!''
The two attacks collided, but Keramon's attack won over, hitting Yaamon once again.
''Why you-?!'' Yaamon tried to get up, but felt weak, close to collapsing.
''Yaamon, this won't do you any good. This Keramon is too strong,'' Arisa told him, trying to help him get up.
''I don't care,'' Yaamon replied. ''In the DigiWorld, it's all about survival of the strongest.''
''I know, I know… But please, let me help you…'' Arisa pleaded.
Yaamon just stared at her, stunned.
''Bug Blast!''
Keramon suddenly fired his attack, but this time, he aimed at Arisa. The girl was startled, unable to move.
''Watch out!'' Yaamon jumped in front of her.
''Yaamon!'' Arisa cried out. Suddenly, her D-Power started glowing in a dark purple light. The same one which covered Yaamon, neutralizing the Bug Blast attack.
DIGIVOLUTION…

Yaamon got covered in a dark purple ''egg''. His skin was ripped away, as he felt the dana surging through the frame of his new body.
''Yaamon, digivolves to…''
''This is… unbelievable!'' Arisa, who was stunned, smiled happily.
Impmon posed, shooting a flame and gave a V-sign, the ''egg'' dispersing.
''Impmon!''
''Hah, that's how I like it! I'm back in the game, Ba-Boom!'' Impmon grinned. Keramon grinned, with Impmon frowning. ''Oi, bugsy! Let's settle it down, shall we?''
''You cannot defeat me,'' Keramon replied.
''Well, see! Bada Boom!'' He summoned flames on the tip of his fingers, firing them at Keramon.
''Bug Blast!''
The attacks collided, but happened to be even.
''Well, well, you got stronger,'' Keramon said. ''Still not enough!''
''Shut up!'' Impmon said in an annoyed tone.
''Let's give our best shot, Impmon!'' Arisa cheered. Impmon glanced back at her, nodding.
''Take this! Crazy Smoke!'' Keramon blew poisonous smoke at Impmon.
''Watch out!'' Arisa yelled. Impmon smirked.
''Pillar of Fire!'' Impmon formed two fire balls in his hands, one pink and one blue, throwing them at Keramon. The fireballs turned into a pillar, making contact with the smoke and blowing up in an epic explosion which threw almost everyone off their feet.
''You think it's over…'' Keramon prepared for another attack, but his eyes widened when he saw Impmon.
''Summon!'' Impmon summoned icicles, firing them at Keramon. The latter got impaled by the icicles, pinning him to the wall behind him.
''Alright!'' Arisa cheered. ''That was amazing!''
''Hm!'' Impmon gave a sly and confident grin as he looked back at her.
''Those two…'' Thomas muttered as he helped Gaomon to get up. Both watched the entire battle. ''Seems like they're something special…''
''I agree.'' Gaomon nodded.

Megumi was satisfied as she watched Akira, Akari, Ken and their partners training. They had their mock-battle early this morning, and now all three managed to digivolve to their Rookie levels, Koromon's being BlackAgumon and Minomon's being Wormmon.
Well, all except for Arisa and Yaamon. But Megumi didn't have any high hopes for them.
''Well done,'' Megumi told them. ''You did well for your first day here.''
''Unlike somebody else,'' Akari chuckled.
''Seems like Bunya might be leaving soon,'' Ken added.
''What should I do with her...'' Megumi muttered.
''Ahem…'' They all turned around. Arisa frowned. ''I heard that.''
''Well, well, you decided to appear when the training session was over. Where's your partner?'' Akari asked.
''We had a training on our own, red-head,'' Impmon walked out, standing now next to Arisa.
Everyone else had a stunned expression on their faces. Nobody expected that Arisa and Impmon would be able to get to the next level.
"Hm... seems like you did it after all. But don't get over-confident," Megumi told them as she exited the room. Arisa and Impmon shoot her a glare.
"Tsk, tsk..." Akari crossed her arms on her chest as she looked at the two. "You two just got lucky. Reaching the Rookie Level is too easy."
"You really have a nerve, saying that..." Arisa frowned.
"We're at the same level, Lilith." Impmon said.
"I know. But at the end, it doesn't matter, right?" Salamon said. "At the end, it's about which one is the better team. And you're not really a team-player, Beelze."
Impmon clenched his fist. He'd show her he's the stronger one - the most powerful Digimon in the world!
He glanced at Arisa, who was glaring at Akari. Yes, his new partner was quite stubborn, but she wasn't going to give up on him. She helped him to reach his next level, after all. Impmon smirked.
Seems like he could learn a lot about this partner thing.

BlackGatomon here! Although, you guys know me as Lilith. Anyways, next time, I'll teach Impmon a lesson, since he obviously hasn't abandoned his old ways as a prankster. If he thinks he'll get away with it, he's wrong! Oh, and by the way, Akira, BlackAgumon, Ken and Wormmon are on a mission on their own... However, I believe mine mission is much more important! Ha!
