Chapter Sixteen : Are You Sure?

"Well that was quite a party huh," Haley said as she entered her home after a long night at Brooke and Lucas's, as she set her bag down and went upstairs.

"Yeah, time flies. Jamie's almost six, it's unbelievable," Nathan responded.

As he followed Haley to her bedroom.

"What do you think you're doing?" She asked.

"Thought maybe I could come in," He replied.

"Please, my parents are coming home soon, so maybe you should just use the front door this time," She said playfully.

"Oh okay, I guess I'll see you tomorrow Hales?" He asked; giving her a quick kiss.

"Tomorrow." She responded simply.

Peyton and Jake went back to her apartment.

"Thanks for walking me home Jake," Peyton said.

"Anything for you P. Sawyer," he replied.

"Are you doing anything tomorrow evening?" She asked opening the door of her apartment.

"No, why what do you got planned?" He asked

"A night in just you and I since Julian is having the kids for the day, what do you say?" She asked; standing in the doorway.

"Sure." He said; grinning happily.

She kissed his cheek.

"Well goodnight Jake, thanks for tonight. It was amazing seeing you again," She responded.

She closed the door and bit her bottom lip.

Brooke and Lucas sat on the couch of Brooke's childhood home as Brooke held a glass of red wine in her hand.

"I want to have another baby," Lucas said.

"What?" Brooke replied stunned.

"I was thinking, that Davis and Jude are already one, and we're not getting any younger and that why don't we have another baby or two," Lucas responded.

"You really want another baby?" She asked.

He nodded.

"Don't you?" He continued.

"Luke, I have everything I could possibly want. A company, a house, an amazing husband and the most incredible sons I could ever ask for," She said.

"So I'm taking that as a no?" He asked.

"For now, but I'm not ruling it out, it's still in the cards okay?" She softly spoke.

"Yeah."

Haley heard a knock on her door. She got up and groaned. She checked the time 4:30 am.

She went downstairs.

"Clay if that's you, just go away. I already told you I don't want to have another baby with you." She tiredly spoke.

"It's not Clay, it's Lindsey," the figure spoke.

Haley opened the door.

"What is so possibly important that you needed to come here at 4 in the morning?" She asked.

"Is Nathan here?" She asked dodging Haley question.

"No why do you need to talk to my boyfriend?" Haley repeated

"I was wondering if he'd watch Lana tomorrow?"

"Who's Lana?"

"She's Nathan and my daughter, Lana Madison Scott," Lindsey said.

"Wait what? Nathan has a daughter, it's not possible because he never told me that." She replied.

"I don't know why? but we had her when we we're married,"

"Oh. Well thanks for stopping by. It's a great way to start my morning so thank you. You can leave before I pushed you out and I'm not afraid to do it," Haley angrily responded; slamming the door in Lindsey's face.

"Wow a daughter, that's one thing Nathan defiantly kept a secret. A big secret for a fact." Haley mumbled as she walked back upstairs and climbed into bed.

The next morning Haley couldn't stop thinking of Lindsey said to her, those words "We have a daughter Lana Madison Scott." Echoed in her mind.

"Hey beautiful," Nathan said to Haley as he walked into her home gave her a cheek kiss and handed her a coffee.

"Just the way you like it," He continued referring to the coffee.

"I need to ask you something?" She asked.

"Okay."

"You'd be completely honest with me right?" She said fiddling with the lid of the coffee cup.

"Absolutely"

"Okay, Lindsey came by this morning and she told me something interesting. She told that you and her share a daughter, why didn't you tell me that? Are you ashamed or something, if we're going to be together for a long time I need to know that you'd be completely honest with me even if it would hurt me," She explained.

"Wait what? I have a daughter?"

"Don't play with Nathan," She told him.

"I'm not, I didn't know we had a daughter. I knew she was pregnant, but she told me she got rid of the baby," He said.

"Yeah, right okay when you get your story right then come and talk to me, till then stay away from me," She replied; as she grabbed her car keys and drove to Peyton's apartment.

She knocked on the door.

"Hey Peyton, oh good you're here too great."

"Well Lindsey came by and she told me that my boyfriend and her share a daughter," She paced around the apartment as she explained the situation.

"She's probably lying, because she's just a bitch who's trying to break up a couple who are endgame, and she said that so that Nathan and you would break up so she can make her move and steal Nate back. If that bitch try's anything to break Naley up. I swear I'd slap her across her ugly face," Brooke said.

"Brooke before you bitch slap Lindsey listen to the full story. Nathan said "I didn't know I had a daughter, I knew Linds was pregnant but she told me that she got rid of the baby, he completely lied to me. And he even promised to be completely honest with me, but I guess he doesn't want to change." Haley replied angrily.

"Are you sure he lied to you?" Peyton asked.

"Yes Peyt, right in my face his eyebrows tighten up whenever he's unsure of something or when he was lying to me," She responded.

"Okay what's this girl's name?"

"Lana Madison Scott, and she's apparently three years old. When Nathan got married at nineteen which was four years ago. He had Lana when he twenty, and I just feel like now that he has a kid, he doesn't want some with me," Haley responded.

"Well you should go talk to him about that Hales, trust me I know Nate. He'll understand." Peyton softly said.

"I guess you're right," She responded as she went back home to Nathan (hopefully he was still there).

"You're still here?" She asked.

"Of course, I am I'm not going anywhere," He said.

Haley went and sat next to Nathan on the couch.

"I had some time to think and from the help of Brooke and Peyton. I just feel like you should be apart of your daughter's life, don't be your father, because one day if we get married I don't want to be married to Dan Scott junior trust me." She explained.

"I know, I understand why you were upset and I don't blame you," He answered.

"Well I haven't been completely honest with you either, I feel like now that you have Lana that you won't want to have kids with me when we get married," She admitted.

"Why would you think that? Yeah, we both don't have kids with each other but I mean I still love Jamie like my own son, and Lana besides Jamie looks alot like me then Clay. Of course I'd want to have kids with you and get married to you,"

"So you do wanna marry me? Huh, Haley James Scott, it has a great ring to it," She replied as she kissed him.

"I love you Haley James, I always will," Nathan responded.

"I love you too Nathan Scott, same back to you," She replied as they continued to kiss.
