A Literal Scrapbook

A scrapbook is messy, it's full of everything, an essence of what was. It has the smiles, the sadness and the moments when you laugh for no good reason and just want to be with someone loved. This is the Marauder's scrapbook, literally. It's a big bundle of warm fuzzy blankets, cheap wine and the comic section of the paper on a rainy day, just in the form of drabbles. R/S and J/L

29. Somewhere Over The Rainbow

It is nearly impossible to count the number of times the Marauders sung 'Over The Rainbow' as a quartet after Peter made James, Remus and Sirius watch 'The Wizard of Oz' in their third year.

It is possible, however, to count the number of times the Marauders tried to perform 'The Wizard of Oz' in front of the whole school at dinner. The only did so once because they were banned by the Ministry of Magic for improper use of class time possession of rare and illegal objects being flaunted about in a "immoral" manner by convincing the first years to eat some of the Lebanese fireworks they owned.

Remus, who tolerated the performance, was a little confused as to why 'The Wizard of Oz' even needed fireworks.

To this, James replied "Just go with it.".

Yeah, Lebanese fireworks, watch out.
