Hello, I'm back from my longass break and sadder than ever! Who's ready to ready more about my emo son and his rockstar boyfriend? I forgot if I named a month that they left in before? So yea if I get the timing wrong my apologies. I'm only gonna do a few more chapters of this, I feel like I've dragged it on for too long and it needs to end. Anyway enjoy and I hope you've all been lovely :).
What felt like months had passed since that day. And it felt like so many things happened between then and now that they'd lost track of time. Was it Saturday? Tuesday? May? April? No one knew, and neither of them really needed to know.
They were currently lying in a park, head to head, staring up at the clouds, discussing various things. Mum lying in the area between both their shoulders.
"So that's when I left," Billy explained.
"I can't believe you just up and left like that," Spencer said in shock, "did your mom try and stop you?"
"Nah, she didn't care," his friend replied nonchalantly.
"I mean it's just life, bro, you can't let it-" but he stopped.
"Let it?" Spencer asked after a moment of silence.
"Shh," he silenced, sitting up quickly causing Spencer to do the same.
Mums ears went up.
He turned to Spencer with a smile, "you hear that?"
The boy listened. "All I hear is the stupid ice cream truck music."
"That's precisely it," Billy screamed, shaking Spencer.
"I want some, I want some, I want some, I want some," he chanted.
Mum began barking, as if she too wanted ice cream.
"okay, okay, go on and get it then," Spencer replied a bit perplexed.
"I will," Billy yelled excitedly, getting up to run.
He watched as Billy ran over to the ice cream truck, Mum on his heels and followed behind with a smile on his face.
"You want some, Spence," the boy asked.
Spencer shook his head and chuckled.
"No, but I think Mum does."
Turning with the curly pup in one hand and a frozen chocolate bunny in his other, he smiled. Accomplished.
Spencer smiled softly, taking the eager small dog from his friends arm.
"Might not wanna do that, unless you want it to be a Mum sickle," Spencer joked.
"Aww, its it's alright a little wont hurt," Billy replied.
"Its chocolate," Spencer frowned, "which is bad for-"
"Excuse me," a voice interrupted.
The two boys turned to be met with a tall, fair skin girl with short blue hair.
"Ahh, hello," Billy answered with a smile.
"You're that guy who was performing here a few days ago right," she asked.
"Ahh, so you're a fan," he asked beaming, "in which case yes, yes you can have my autograph."
He pulled a black marker out from who knows where and grabbed her arm.
"No way," she clarified with a smile.
"Look, I'm having a party tonight. Stupid band cancelled on us last minute, but I saw you here a few days ago and when I noticed you in the park, figured you'd be a great replacement."
"You want me to play at your party," Billy asked sounding less confident than he'd wanted.
"Of course, everyone'll totally love you."
"Duh they will!"
"So you in?"
"Hell yea I'm in!"
"Great, party's at 8, buncha flyers around for the address an-"
"Wait, wait, wait," Spencer started, only barely audible,"how much are you paying him?"
"What?"
"Yeaaa, my entertainment isn't cheap yknow," Billy agreed.
"Ahh, well. Figured you'd get something else out of it," the girl winked in Billy's direction.
Billy blushed, at a loss for words, his mouth hung open a bit, and then he laughed.
Spencer felt something in his chest, something that made him want the girl to go away. And he definitely didn't want to go to that party tonight, that was for sure, however there was no way in hell he'd be able to convince Billy not to go.
"Seriously though, 50 bucks is all im asking," Billy put his hands up defensively, "I've got a puppy, I've got a Spencer, and I've got a me to take care of."
"And you seem pretty desperate," Spencer blurted accidentally.
The girl glared at him, and then focused her attention back on Billy with a smile, "Of course, anything for you."
The two then exchanged numbers and with that she left.
"See that Spence," Billy said excitedly turning towards the other boy, only for his face to fall.
"Whats wrong?"
"What," Spencer asked nervously forcing a smile, "no, im fine. Its great, im glad, this is really cool."
He didnt sound convincing, but Billy was too exicted to notice. His face lit up again and he pulled Spencer in to a hug, while Mum danced around their feet.
"You wanna celebrate too?" Billy asked, turning his attention to the small puppy.
He looked back up at Spencer, smiled, and then grabbed his hand.
"Come on," he yelled, and began to run. Mums leash was in his other hand and she was running right alongside the two of them until they made their way back home.
"What are we gonna wear tonight," Billy asked to no one in particular.
"What we're wearing now," Spencer asked from the passenger's seat, Mum in his lap.
Billy was in the back going through the small amount of clothes they'd accumulated.
"Pfft, no way Spen-bro, that's not gonna do it, I'm gonna be on stage and that makes you on stage by default."
"I dont think it-"
"So that means we both gotta show up looking good, which means one thing: shopping."
"Except, we're on a tight budget," Spencer noted.
Billy smiled, "that, my dear bro, is why they have thrift stores."
Spencer sighed, he wanted nothing to do with this party, he could already feel something bad was going to happen.
In the end, the two of them found their way to a thrift store, leaving Mum in the car since for whatever reason pets weren't allowed in stores.
Spencer had never been to a thrift store before, it looked weird, like not bad, but just not like a regular store.
The two made their way to the section labeled "men" and from there Spencer just left it up to Billy.
He'd glanced around at a few shirts, but didn't really find anything he'd particularly liked.
A little while later he saw Billy running up to him with a bunch of clothes in his hands. "Come on, we gotta try them on."
Spencer followed behind him with a small smile. He was very amusing.
"Wait, what are you doing," Spencer asked once they'd stopped in front of the fitting rooms, for Billy had began to shove basically everything in his hand to the boy.
"You're trying this stuff on," Billy clarified.
"But what about you?"
"I've already picked out what I'm wearing, but all of those things would look good on you, so I've got to see which one looks the best."
Spencer blushed a little at Billy's comment and decided not to fight against it.
One by one Spencer began trying on clothes.
…
"It looks good, but it doesn't say 'Spencer' y'know, you just look uncomfortable."
…
"Those pants look nice," Billy complimented.
"I hate these pants."
...
"I think its missing some buttons."
"No, your chest is supposed to be out."
…
"This is a dress."
"A guy can dream right," Billy asked with a cheeky smile.
Spencer sighed, and went back into the dressing room.
…
"This shirt is a bit tight," Spencer complained.
"Its supposed to be tight."
…
"Put those jeans back on, the tight ones."
…
"And the tight shirt."
…
"Get the vest."
…
"Thats hot," Billy said with a toothy smile.
"I look like a twink," Spencer frowned. It's not that he didnt like the outfit, it just showed too much. The shirt was tight and small, if he stretched it would lift up, meaning it also didnt cover his ass, which was sort of just there.
He was used to wearing skinny jeans, but his shirts were always long enough to go past that area. It made him feel weird, and then the jean vest, like what the hell, it had studs down the sides and rips in the back.
"Girls and guys like that, two birds one stone."
Spencer sighed turning to take off the clothing and the two made their way to the check out and back to the car.
"Hey, Spence where's the party at again," Billy asked as the time was getting closer to 7.
"Uhh, apparently its at a hotel somewhere in the middle of downtown?"
"Thats sick, why dont we just stay there tonight then?"
"What about Mum?"
Billy looked at the boy confused.
"Not all hotels allow pets, remember?"
"Oh yea, there's that silly rule, we'll just hide her in with the rest of our things, she's tiny and black, could definitely be mistaken for a blanket."
Spencer couldnt argue with that, so thats what they did.
And it worked.
They transferred their small amount of things to the hotel room for the night and Billy splayed out in the bed.
"I havent slept on a bed in so long, I missed its nice softness."
Spencer smiled, sitting down next to him.
Eventually 7 came around and the two began getting ready for the party.
Billy was in the midst of showering, while Spencer was just getting his shoes on, bending over to cuff the legs on his jeans as they were a bit too long, and tie his shoes.
"Spence does my hair look bad?" Billy said out of nowhere, black converse appearing in front his eyes.
He finished up his shoe, then brought his attention to the boy in front of him. He was wearing a jean jacket with a black and white striped shirt, tucked into some jeans that were rolled mid calf, held up by his brown belt.
He brought his eyes up the boys face, to the source of his presence. His hair was wavy, the front pulled back into a curly ponytail, while the back left out.
Spencer thought he looked wonderful.
"Your hair.."
"Yea, is it okay," Billy whined?
"Its great," Spencer let out.
Billy stared for a moment, then smiled.
He climbed on the bed behind the smaller boy and began fiddling with his hair.
"What are you doing," Spencer asked touching around on his head only to find two messy little buns on the sides of his head.
He turned to be met with Billy's smile.
"Here, lay down for a sec," he said, gently pushing Spencer back on the bed, taking a seat on top of him.
Spencers cheeks went red as Billy leaned down and…
And he felt something sticky moving across his skin.
"What is this," Spencer questioned.
"Its like face paint, but except its a pencil."
Within a moment he was done, and he pulled out his phone and snapped a picture.
"Now you're like my little party animal," Billy said, smirking down at the boy underneath him.
Spencer swallowed hard, face getting hotter.
His hand clumsily found his way to Billy's, taking the small pencil.
He brought his other up to Billy's cheek, bringing him closer.
Slowly, he drew a small heart under his left eye.
Glancing back up at Billy, who hadn't taken his eyes off the smaller boy, following his every move, he brought his attention to Billy's right cheek where he began to draw another.
Once he was done his eyes flickered back up to Billy's. And suddenly he was kissing Billy, again.
He'd kissed Billy before.
And he was now kissing him another time.
And he felt hands cup his face.
And he moved his hands to Billy's hair, his soft, crinkly hair, pulling the boy any closer to him that he could.
He felt a hand go under his shirt, and for some reason his tight pants felt like they were getting tighter, and Billy..
He felt Billy slightly rubbing himself against his jeans.
Spencers heart was beating fast, and so was Billys. Were they beating in unison.
Spencer adjusted himself under Billy, gently thrusting upwards in response.
Faster.
Faster.
!
And then suddenly they stopped.
And Billys hand were removed from Spencers body, and fumbled with a phone in his back pocket.
And Spencer's hands gone from Billy's soft hair, now up towards his face.
"H-hey," Billy answered, trying to sound cool.
"Ahh yea," he said, taking the phone away from his ear to glance at the time.
"Just wanted to be fashionably late."
"We'll be there soon."
Billy's cool smile faded as he looked back down at Spencer, he was struggling to find words.
"... we're late for the party."
Spencer nodded, glancing to the side.
Billy grabbed his guitar and waited with his hand on the door.
Turning to Spencer, he smirked,
"After the party, why don't we finish what we didn't get to?"
His eyes went wide and he made a small squeaking sound in response.
Grabbing his hand, Billy pulled him out the door.
"We'll be back Mum."
And they were off.
