PS: I unfortuantly do not own transformers or any of the songs used in this story, my work is not ment for profit. Only fun.
Autumn dared not blink as she stared. Sideswipe stared back. She could not believe what she was seeing. Sideswipe had come to life right in her hands, as perverted as that sounded. They were sitting on her bed again, room still in shambles as they stared at each other. Autumn blinked and wiped away the moisture that had risen in her eyes.
"Ahh, squishy?" Blaster chuckled from his place upon her pillow. The red cassette mech had claimed it as his own the second the two toys' peds had touches the bed sheets, going so far to threaten to 'blast off Sideswipe's audios with the most torturous music he could find and then beat the pranksters aft back to the now non-existent Cybertron if he so much as stepped onto the fluffy head rest. Sideswipe had been shocked to hear his comrade say so, as had Autumn, but she guessed it was one of those things that they didn't show you in the cartoons, "What are you trying to do exactly?"
"What's it looking like I'm trying to do?" She asked back like it was the most obvious thing in the world, "I'm trying to have a staring contest with Sideswipe."
"If that's the case babe," Sideswipe gave her a Cheshire cat smile and a glint appeared in his optics, "just know that you're going to lose."
"Oh really?" Autumn grinned before her brow rose in confusion, "And who are you calling a babe?"
"Yep," he said leaning back onto his servos, "and I'm calling you a babe because you are one"
Autumn decided not to comment on the latter subject, seeing the determined glint still shining in his blue optics. She went on, "and why would you think that you can beat, me at a staring competition?"
"Autumn," Blaster said clearly amused when Sideswipe did not answer, deciding instead to simply stand on her blankets with his hands on his hips looking like the cat that stole the cream, "Cybertronians had no need to blink."
"Oh," Autumn flushed and both bots burst out laughing at her expense. When the laughing died down, Sideswipe cleared his throat and looked serious for the first time since he had been brought to life as a toy figurine.
"All jokes aside," he said looking around, "How did I get here?"
"I don't know," Autumn admitted frowning her eye brows, "all I know is that it has something to do with when I hold a bot and sing a song."
"Is it any specific song?" The prankster asked with a tilt in his head. Autumn shook her head.
"No," she sighed, "I guess the song must just somehow remind me of the bot I'm holding for it to work. That's all I know."
"Well that's very helpful," Sideswipe mumbles and jumped when Autumn flicked him in the head, "what was that for?"
"For being a smart ass," autumn grouched.
"Hey Sideswipe," Blaster called gaining their attention," what Was the last thing you remember?"
"The communications from Prime about a code red 24," the bot replied rubbing the back of his helm.
"Code red 24?" Autumn asked feeling lost.
"A Wheeljack explosion," the two bots responded instanously.
"What he do?" Autumn asked smiling.
"Not sure," Sideswipe shook his shoulders, "but it was pretty impressive considering the crater it left behind."
Autumn giggled before looking around and her smile dropped from her face. Gingerly she stood up and with a grimace began to fix up the damage done to her room. Sideswipe whistled in shock.
"Damn!" He called out as he made his way over to the side of the bed and used the messy folds in the blankets to get down to the floor, "what the slag happened to the place babe?"
"My dog happened," she explained while picking up some of her books and pushing them back where they belonged, "he properly thought you were some sort of squirrel when you moved and decided to chase you around the room."
"What's a squirrel?" The Autobot asked and Autumn and Blaster burst out laughing. Thy kindly directed him to the laptop where the internet page was still open. Sideswipe's jaw dropped.
"What!" He exclaimed, "there's no way in the pit that, that mutt managed to confuse me with something that looks like a sparkling's plushy."
"Blaster had the same reaction," Autumn said when she had managed to get her breathing back under control, "and for the record, squirrels are actually something to be wary with."
"That thing fierce?" Sideswipe pointed completely not believing her, "as if."
"You have obviously never seen one protecting its nuts in person," Autumn snorted, "or one after they've been given coffee."
"Was it bad?" Blaster asked.
"Dear lord save us," autumn smiled, "I'd rather take on a swam of scraplets than a single caffeinated squirrel."
"Damn," Sideswipe murmured, "how'd you know so, much about us anyway?"
"We're in a universe of some sort where we don't actually exist mech," Blaster hesitantly explained slowly. Autumn could not understand why he was suddenly so hesitant about talking to Sideswipe until the mech suddenly froze and tensed up. He swiveled back to his brother in arms.
"What do you mean?" The red hooded Autobot asked suddenly calm, which frightened Autumn beyond belief. She took a deep breath and slowly explained about the TV shows, movies, books extra that they were in this world. Once finished, she watched him worriedly as his optics dimmed and his head lowered to stare down at his chest plates as though he were searching for something desperately. Out the corner of her vision, Autumn became aware of Blaster tensing his body as he watched the prankster as well.
"Sideswipe?" She asked worriedly when he did not respond, "are you okay?"
"I can't feel him," the bot said suddenly, starting to panic, "I CAN'T FEEL HIM ANYWHERE!"
"SIDESWIPE!" Autumn did not think. Blindly she grabbed the failing bot but did not expect him to pull out a pair of energon swords she did not know he had and stab her in the wrist. She dropped him on instinct and the second he touched the ground, Blaster kept on him. They tangled around, Sideswipe still screaming and failing around until he suddenly fell limp and Autumn guesses that Blaster had knocked him out via some of the sensitive cables in his neck.
"I had a feeling that something like this was going to happen once he realized that he couldn't feel him," Blaster said sadly and let Autumn lift them into the pillow.
"Feel who?" Autumn asked feeling herself that she was missing some very important information.
"His brother," the bot replied and suddenly she knew exactly who he was referring to. Sideswipe was a rare split spark twin. A whole spark cut in half at birth. One spark, but in two bodies with a powerful bond between them. And his other half, his brother was in another universe.
Sunstreaker.
