I didn't understand why it happen or what it was. Somehow it's not normal but, I feel it was in me the whole time. I just didn't know it. I guess there's a lot I have to work on and catch on. But why do I have it?"-Nini
"Yume, where'd ya go?" Goofy called out. Unfortunately Yume run off so quickly that they couldn't catch up with her. She was easily hard to catch, like a five-year- old who runs off without thinking. Even though she dose act like a child at times.
"Jeez! This kid just runs off and forgets about us. Can't she keep put for a minute!" Donald blurted out.
"Hey, at least she's with Jimminy." Goofy added.
They try to see if Yume was somewhere around the first district, but they couldn't find her anywhere. It's like looking for a lost puppy, it was getting hard already searching for her, especially for Donald who was getting impatient. Then they finally caught of a little green creature who look like Jimminy...wait! It was Jimminy! Donald and Goofy ran straight to Jimminy and asked why he was here.
"Well, I accidentally slipped off her shoulder, and my was she in a rush." the little cricket said.
"Where is she?!" Donald yelled. Goofy shook his head, Donald really need to control his temper.
"I...don't...know." Jimminy said nervously.
"WHAT?!" Donald and Goofy shouted.
Yume walk through the district hoping to find her way to Donald and Goofy, maybe it wasn't so smart to just runaway like a kid. But even if people see her as a kid.
"I guess I screwed up here." Yume said in her mind, she hate being lost in town like this. Even though, she knew Traverse Town pretty well but still.
"Help!" Yume herd a voice screamed from behind her, she could tell was a boy's voice. She turn around to see who the voice was coming from. It was a puppet, he was being chase by knight-armored heartless. He was trying to get away until he came up to brick wall.
"Not there!" Yume shouted to the puppet.
He ran up to Yume and hid behind as he held on tight to her pink jacket, like a child hiding behind a parent. The knight heartless came back, heading tours Yume and the puppet. Yume summon her keyblade and braced herself, it sure felt good to be kicking butt again. One soldier heartless ran up to Yume and jump in the air ready to scratch her, but luckily Yume jab the keyblade through the heartless in the chest. Then she kicked another one in face and swag it like a baseball.
"Wait. Why haven't I think of this before." Yume asked herself as she smack her head with her palm.
"Light!" Yume summon a sparkling blast of light, it swoosh the heartless away and made them disappear in the air. She immediately grab the puppet around the waist and run as fast as she could to lost anymore heartless.
Once she found a nice spot, there was no heartless in site. She put the puppet down and wipe the sweat off her forehead.
"Phew." She said relieved.
"Gee, thanks for saving. I don't know how I would of escape from those creeps without you." The puppet said.
"Ahh, it was nothing." Yume said as she waved her hand as the 'nothing' sign.
"Nothing? That was something, you use some amazing powers of yours to beat those sickos." Pinocchio said in a very amazed tone.
"True," Yume nodded.
"So, what's your name miss?"
"Yume, and you are?"
"Pinocchio's the name, pulling pranks is my game." The puppet named Pinocchio said pointing his thumb to himself. To Yume he was like a little kid playing around. Which reminded her of what people think of her.
"Say, are you lost too?" the little puppet asked as he took a good look at her.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Yume asked raising an eyebrow.
"Well see, I kinda lost my way here. I've been wondering off the place just trying to find my way back. But luckily, I've been able keep myself happy and on-going, and you know what that is?"
Yume shook her head.
"As I said...PRANKS! Yes, they make you laugh and happy! Their always good for fun. I'm a prank master, I've been doing for a while and I'm already a pro." Pinocchio puffed up his chest with great pride. Yume giggle at the silly puppet's action, he was defiantly a kid no doubt about it.
"Woah, you sure look dazzling pretty." the puppet said as he observe Yume.
"Oh, thank you. That's really nice of you."
"Yume!" Yume turn to the angry voice that called her name. It was of course Donald with his hands on his hips and stomping his web-foot, as always he had a grouchy look on his face. He was glaring at Yume of course for running off.
"How many times do we have to tell? Quick running off without us ya ninny!" Donald just couldn't shut his loud mouth up.
"Oh c'mon Donald, Ok maybe I did ran off. But it's not I was just wondering randomly." Yume said. Jimminy notice that Pinocchio was with her too, he walk up to the two them.
"Pinocchio?" the cricket asked.
"Oh, hey Jimminy!" Pinocchio said.
"What 're you doing here? Aren't you suppose be with your Papa?" Jimminy asked the puppet boy.
"Yeah, but I though it would cool to get out and pull some new pranks, it's been a long time since I've had some fun." Jimminy just shook his head.
"Ah Pinocchio, here you go again with your mischievous behaviors. You shouldn't be going off in town just to pull dirty pranks on people, it's rude and unacceptable." Jimminy said wagging his finger at Pinocchio.
"Oh c'mon Jimminy, it's just for fun. It's not like I'm trying to hurt anyone."
"Enough of that Pinocchio, you need to go back to your father now, I bet he very worried about you." Jimminy told the puppet.
"But Jimminy..."
"No buts young man!"
"Jimminy please, he's alone in town with no one to watch over him. Don't cha think he should come with us?"
"Nuh-huh! No way!" Donald said.
"Hey! I didn't asked you, so stay out of this." Yume said. Donald obeyed of course he didn't want Yume to give him another punch again.
"Well, the Blue Fairy did told me to keep an eye on you." Jimminy said as he put his hand on his chin.
"Plus, it'll only be temporary until we get to his father. Right?" Yume said making it clear to the little cricket.
"Yeah Jimminy, he could stay with us for a little while." Goofy said.
"Oh no Goofy, not you too." Donald quacked. Goofy just shrugged his shoulders.
"Alright then, but Pinocchio this quest that we're on is extremely dangerous." Jimminy said.
"Don't worry, I won't get in your way." Pinocchio said.
"There's no need to worry about, besides it's been a long day. We should probably find a place to rest." Yume said. Then she started let out a loud yawn and stretch her arms.
"Tired ain't ya kiddo." Goofy said.
"Mmmm-hmm." Yume said rubbing her eyes.
"I think we deserve a break anyway, especially you who've been doing most of the fighting and getting yourself hurt all the time." Donald said to Yume.
"Hey, what did I say?" Yume glared at Donald.
"Sorry, I-I mean sure, we deserve a break from all that fighting and sweating." Donald requested.
"Why don't we go to one of those hotels, I hear they got service for free." Goofy suggested.
"Alright, let's go then!" Yume said cheery.
Nini woke up, only to find herself in a strange place. But it looked pretty much like a normal town with houses and stores, she sign in relief good thing there wasn't anything bizarre. It was great to be in a nice town that was different from her homeland, cause she remember when her mother told her that each world is different in each own way. That's what makes special their own way. She explore the place and it look pretty nice by the site. She started to notice a duck with a toff hat and glasses, he was holding a cane. Nini wasn't sure if that was the duck she was suppose meet but she decided to go up to him just in case.
But right before she could go up to him, there some black creatures with glowing yellow eyes. They were coming strait tours him but he didn't notice since they behind him.
"Look out!" Nini shouted to the classy duck. The duck raise an eyebrow and turn around, then he spotted the heartless coming right him. Nini ran up to the creature and stood in front of the duck to protect. She didn't how she could possibly use her magic, but she had to try at least. She took a deep breath and hold up her hand and focus all her engery within herself. Then at that moment, blue arura appeared from her hand and vaporizing the heartless in one swift. They all disappear from site once more. Nini look at her hand again, could it be that she learn how to use magic already? She was so impressed with herself.
"Well golly, thanks for the saving young lady." the duck said tipping his hat.
"Oh, your welcome. It's not often I get to help someone in need." Nini said wiping the sparkle dust off her hand.
"I must say, that was a marvelous trick ya did there. Even someone as fancy as Scrooge Mcduck myself would be highly impressed by your circum stances."
"Wait, your Scrooge Mcduck?" Nini asked.
"Yes, the one and only. So what's brings a little lady like you here in the wonderful Radiant Garden?" Scrooge asked.
"Well, I actually came here to find you someone told me that you know how I could this place call Disney Town?" Nini was a little nervous while asking, she didn't wanna sound rude or anything like that. Especially for a duck who is classy, he might point his can at her and say 'I don't like your tone!' or 'Your being awfully rude.' Since she's been in Radiant Garden for a long time, she doesn't know how to interact with other people or how she should behave around them.
"Why of course! I got just the thing for you." Scrooge took off his hat and pulled out a card, that said 'Disney Town'. Nini raise an eyebrow, 'Has he always carried it around?' That duck was full of mystery.
"Here ya go little lady, a pass to Disney Town. Lucky for you had one for a child. Even so not much grown ups go to the fun and fantastic 'Disney Town'. It's no wonder since children adore the fabulous decor and the enjoyable activity. And I know without a doubt you'll enjoy it." the fancy duck hand over the card to Nini.
"Ok, thanks." Nini said.
"Don't mention it." Scrooge put his hat back on and tucked it.
"Hello, welcome to Traverse Town's Hotel. How may we I help you?" a young woman asked.
"We're here for a sleep-in." Yume said.
"Why sure, for how long will you be staying?"
"Just one night, nothing more"
"Sure thing," the lady was typing on the computer and printed out the a slip of paper.
"Here's the number to your room. And here's the key. The kitchen is free to prepare your meals and the bathroom is right at next the lobby. If you need any service at all just asked." the lady sound pretty nice. Despite the fact that Traverse Town was a place where people are homeless with nowhere else to go, people were still happy and were still willing to help those in need. Yume smile at the lady, it felt good to have friendly people in this world. She took the slip and key from the lady, she look at the slip it said '102'. She walked through the hallway along with Donald, Goofy, and Jimminy on her shoulder. Pinocchio was following behind them, for Jimminy he could stay put for once.
Yume stopped at the room where it said '102'. She check the slip to make sure it was the right one.
"Here's the room!" Yume said, she put the key into the keyhole and twist it real good to open it. She open the door to the room, and it looked pretty nice. There were three beds, a T.V., a microwave, and a mini-fridge. Yume, Donald, Goofy, and Jimminy were in awe by the nice suit. Except for Pinocchio who automatically went strait on one of the beds and started jumping on them like a little 5-year-old.
"Wee! This place is fun!" Pinocchio said while jumping.
"Pinocchio get down from there! This isn't a playground!" Jimminy yelled. Yume just giggled, it was like having a 5-year-old here. But she didn't care, it's always nice to have a little child in a group.
"I told you we should've left him out," Donald told Yume and Goofy with his hands on his hips. Yume smack Donald on the back of the head for being so rude...again.
"Ow!" Donald shouted with pain.
"I'd say this room is fancy." Goofy said as he laid down on one of the beds with his hands behind his head. Pinnochio got off the bed, and explored the room to see what else was in site. Donald finally took the time to fix the covers of the bed the Pinnochio was jumping on. He sat on the bed and got comfortable, as he felt the soft covers of the bed. Yume got on the other bed and felt the soft comfort the blankets too.
"I agree, it is nice." Yume said. She jump on the bed a little with her bottom just to feel more comfort.
"Yeah, it's not bad at all." Donald said.
"Say, anybody hungry? I can cook us up something." Yume said as she got up from the bed.
"Really, you would do that?" Donald asked.
"Of course, I know how to make some great dishes. In fact I'll make my specialty,"
"Garsh, what is it?" Goofy asked.
"It's a surprise." Yume walk to the door about to leave.
"Wait, where ya going?" Goofy asked.
"I'm goanna go to the store and buy some ingredients for the dinner. Don't worry I'll be back." Yume said.
"Let me go with you." Pinocchio said.
"Oh no you don't Pinocchio, you never know when those creepy will start to appear again. You better stay here with us." Jimminy said to the puppet boy, Pinocchio nodded and obeyed.
"Jimminy's right, are you sure you can make it back safe Yume?" Goofy asked.
"Don't worry, your looking at a girl who's finally got control of the light now. As long as I have the light, nothing will stop me." Yume said with conviction, then she left out the room.
"That kid better be careful this time." Donald said with a angry look on his face.
"Malady! What happen? Are you hurt?!" Pete asked quickly to the green witch.
"Don't worry about me, there was no harm done." Maleficent patted the dirt off her arms as she spoke. Pete notice that the room was a huge mess like if there was a big fire, everything was covered in dirt and the rags were more ripped than before, there must if been something that cause a big scene.
"It doesn't look like it, how the room looks so messy? Did someone pick a fight with you?" Pete asked.
"No. However someone meddled in and took the magician away. But that's alright, I have no intention in her anymore. It's not like I expecting much from her anyway. She's no longer in the castle now. "
"Wait that girl is gone?" Pete asked as he looked around the room.
"She's no longer our concern, we got bigger things to deal with now. Since we no longer have the magician with us, we'll just have to focus on what we really need the most. The brightest of all lights, the purist ever to exist." Maleficent referred to...
"Sora's scrawny little brat." Pete finished.
"Correct. It won't be difficult, especially since now I have two loyal associates in my hands." Maleficent let out a evil smirk on her face.
"Boy, I was just about to go find her. But I got a message from the raven saying 'You had something to tell me.' So what's the new task melady?" Pete said putting his hands on his hips.
"Yes, we need get a good case of magic. Since that magician was too stubborn to be on our side we'll have to use the magical item." Maleficent stated.
"You don't mean..." Pete knew what Maleficent was talking about, but he didn't want to mention it.
"We have no other choice, in case you've forgotten since my last with battle with Sora and the king my magic's been weak. I haven't been able to the strongest magic, and if Yume thought that, that knight I created was strong enough, then she's goanna be proven to be as soft as her father. I have no doubt that Sora has pass his ridiculous habits to his child, I would feel sorry for her." Maleficent explain.
"Don't worry malady, you don't have to use much of your magic. If you need a energy booster then I'll be proud to get it for you." Pete said.
"Actually, I need you to do a different favor."
"Anything malady." Pete said with his fist on his chest.
"Listen, you may not get the picture. But Taishin is having some difficulty with his duties. I assume he needs a little encouragement, he still has darkness within his heart. Even I believe he'll be able to get through his emotional stress, so I would need you to give him some conviction. Bring him deep into the darkness. He besides Raymond is the only one who's agreed to be in our presence, I can't let Yume or anyone else take him back. He needs to stick with his dark-side." Maleficent said.
"Wait a sec, hold the phone melady. Your saying you want me to cheer him up or something like that?" Pete asked confused.
"I would prefer to it as a dark negotiation. The poor child his losing his beloved darkness, we can't let that happen now can we?" Maleficent spoke in a sweet tone,
"Well I guess if we're goanna shut out some lights, I guess we could be friendly enough to the kid for our plot. But what about the magical item and Sora's little brat?" Pete asked.
"No need to worry, we'll get to them eventually. But for now, we need to focus on the poor child. Taishin is proven worthy of the darkness, we have to prove it to him." Maleficent let out a smirk.
"As you wish malady." Pete bowed to his master.
Taishin walk through the alley of Traverse Town. He walked along while he had one hand in his pocket and the other holding the beautiful pink. Stop at barrels and sat on one of them not bothering to move on. He never felt a mixture of anger and pity, it was like the universe was in a unsettle position, he didn't know what else to think. He look down at the pink flower in his hand, he clench it tightly as if he were to crush it. But he didn't want to ruin a thing of nature. Something so beautiful yet so fragile, it was just like Yume. She made been a klutz or even an idiot at times when she screwed things up. But yet she was always so nice to him and everyone. She understood him when no one else did.
Back when they were young, she invited him for dinner. Even though he wasn't 100% sure, he still accept her offered. It was incredible how he made friends, despite the fact he was cold person and a bit of loner but he notice that they actually had more things in common. Like he and Raymond were into sword-fights since they always like to play with swords and have pretend battles with each-other. He also like to play video-games with his friend Katuro even though he couldn't hang out with him much since he had to watch his little sister whenever his parents had to go out. And Yume, now with Yume it was something else in fact Yume was the first one to see right through him, to see his inner colors, to see his true self.
She was always so nice even when he gave her the cold shoulder, she wouldn't even complain. But why? Maybe she was just need him to see her good side, and not her bad. Then as she started to grow more maturely, she still act a bit childish and maybe even stupid. But she was still kind enough to know how to help out a friend in need. You would wonder why someone would always be considerate at things that would make him or her feel so offensive or insulted in a way. That's what made Taishin confuse, he could get Yume at all. Why?
"Excuse me?" he herd a voice that sound like girl's voice which sound a lot like Yume's. No wait...it was Yume! Good thing he hid behind a wall where no one could see him. He took a little peak out from the wall, that's when he notice her. The girl he's been thinking about.
"Excuse me m'am but do you know where the market is?" she was talking a lady who apparently knew the way around Traverse Town. Taishin couldn't do much but just stay hidden and overhear her conversation.
"Why yes, it right over there." the lady pointed at the direction where the market was.
"Oh, thank you!" Yume walk off to the market.
Taishin didn't know what for the moment, he look down at the pink flower in his hand. But for some reason, he felt like his heart was telling him to wait. It wasn't the right moment to go up to her at this time. Even though he wanted to see her crystal clear blue eyes, he still couldn't do it...not yet.
"Why did you betray us you idiot?" he whispered to himself referring to Yume.
Well even heroes need a break don't you think? I wanted to put a scene where Yume meets Pinocchio, since his world got swallowed into darkness too.
A family member of mine just died a few days ago so we had to go to his funeral. So I was a bit delayed on this chapter, sorry.
