House of Twilight and House of the Waiting part 2 Laxus p.o.v

I can't take this anymore seeing him laying there like that so motionless barley breathing. I wish I could do something about it but Wendy said I did all I could. I feel so useless; it's a change for how things use to be.

"Hey Laxus how is Freed doing," Bixlow asked walking in with Lisanna. "Nothing has changed he is still out," I replied letting a tear show. "And Wendy isn't about to help," Lisanna asked me. "She did all she could right now she is out at Porlesors seeing what she knows," I told her.

"I am sorry Laxus," she replied. "Its fine I just don't know what I can do to help I feel so weak," I said. "You did all you could, you're not weak," Lisanna told me. "And what would know of losing someone you love," I yelled at her snapping like a branch. "Wanna bet," she replied and left the room.

"That wasn't cool man," Bixlow said following after her. Shit I didn't mean to say that of course she knows she was gone for three years. God Mira and Elfman must have been so sad when they lost her. I understand it now, I wish I could have been there for Mira but I was an asshole at the time.

"I heard you made Lisanna cry," Evergreen said walking into the room. As she walked in she shouts her eyes not wanting to see Freed. Ever must feel really bad, I mean Freed is her best friend and she loves him like a brother. "Yeah I didn't mean to it just happened," I replied.

"Yeah I know how you must feel, but Elfman is going to wanna be a man about making his little sister cry," she laughed and then looked at me with sad eyes. "Yeah I know I will get what I have coming to me for that," I replied smiling a fake smile for her. "Will you watch him for me I am going home to take a shower," I asked her and she nodded yes.

I start to walk to my place when Cana ran up to me. "Hey Laxus how is Freed doing," she asked me. "He is still out, Evergreen is watching him for me, I was going home to take a shower," I told her. "Oh do you wanna grad a drink with me," she replied. Honestly I could use a drink after all at happened, "sure let go," I replied.

We walked a little bit and got to the bar on the corner of the town. We both got eight shots and choked them down together. "So tell me Laxus what do you like about Freed so much," Cana asked me. "Well I don't like anything I love everything, he is nice and funny he has been with me even when I lost my way and,,," I was saying then the tear started to poor out from my eyes.

"Are you alright Laxus," she asked me. No I am not alright I am drunk right now and all I want is to be alone. "Yeah I just need another drink," I replied grading a beer and drinking it. "You know it's weird to see you cry, you never did that before Freed must mean the world to you, you know before you too got together I got him drunk and he was saying how he wish he was a girl so he could be with you," she told me.

"Please Cana don't talk about him alright, I am just going to go back and see him, I am sorry," I said leaving the bar. I started to walk back to where Freed would be, it's a cold night I really wish I had my jacket but it's with Freed laying over him so he doesn't get cold.

He shouldn't have had to go through this, and if I ever met that father of his I am going to show him what happens when you mess with someone I love.

I walked into Freeds room and Wendy was sitting there with her head down. "So what did the old lady say," I asked her. "She said the Freed would have to fight through this himself and that there was nothing that we could do," she told me.

I didn't know what to say to her, I mean the old dragon lady is the best healer that we know; I can't believe that there is nothing she could do. "Laxus I know that's not what you wanted to hear but," Wendy was saying. "Please don't Wendy," I told her.

She gave me a worried look and then left the room, and now I am all alone. I walked over to Freed and graded his hand. "Please Freed I need you there are so many things I want to do with you, I was thinking about spending my whole like with you, forever and a lifetime I got this necklace but I might as well wear it since you aren't coming too," I said putting a lightning bolt necklace around my neck and more tears came to my eyes.

"You know I would never say this out load but you were my reason for changing, you're the light that I spent so long trying to find, when I close my eyes all I see is you and sometimes the beautiful girl that one day we might have, you know when I see her she has your eyes," I said kissing his check.

"Hmm Laxus," I heard a weak voice say. "Wendy I think he might be coming too, hurry come," I yelled.
