Sirius did find a way.
"Come with me." Sirius took Remus by the hand and led him up to the dormitory, they were going to miss History of Magic, but neither seemed to care.
"What's all this about?" Remus had a pretty good idea, but he didn't want to get ahead of himself.
"I've been reading all about other werewolves and I've seen a lot of remedies that I saw in the Restricted Section- I borrowed James' cloak, don't worry, and I had the map-, and they're these charms that are meant to make the transformation less painful and on some they've-"
Remus smiled. " Sirius, I've been there. I'm stuck with this, wether I like it or not."
"But-"
"There aren't any 'buts'. I'm fine with who I am, the worst part of it all is having to live with all of these scars, because I'm with them every day, not just once a month." Remus was smiling even wider. "As long as I know that you're as happy with me as I am, I'm ecstatic."
"You're an idiot." Said Sirius, brushing his hand along Remus's neck. "I thought it was pretty apparent that I loved you regardless of anything when we all found out about you being like this in the first place!"
"Thank you, I needed to hear that." Remus's heart was beating very fast now.
"Now… about those scars…. do you want me to kiss them better?" Asked Sirius.
But, before Remus could nod, Sirius had already begun to work on his arms…
Delicately kissing each tiny and thread like mark on his others skin, he rolled up Remus's sleeve, planting a peck on every blemish. Sirius began unbuttoning Remus's school shirt, finding each scar across Remus's stomach, chest and back. He traced each one with his index finger, tracing patterns onto skin and smiling at the thought of each scar of his lover's slowly fading into nothing, like a flower blooming in reverse.
"I love you."
Sirius did kiss every single scar that day in that deadly silent dormitory room. And even now, after every full moon, Sirius would kiss each fresh scar that patterned Remus's skin.
