The nocturnal hours of night four
(An: Ahhhh...sorry for being late. Again. And sorry but uh...you'll see in the next chapter...)
Dragoon did his checks, camera's up, kitchen down, right light working and…
"Huh?"
For some reason he just got a dull 'clack' out of the left light button. Trying the door one he got the same.
"Darn, did my lighting do damage last night?" he shrugged, "Ah well this can't be too hard to fix."
Pulling out a screw driver, he popped open the old panel and gave a long, long, calculating look at that.
What kind of moronic frightening sociopaths were the olden day electrocutions?
The phone went off and dragoon lightly smiled at the familiar routine.
"Hey wow day 4 I know you could do it. Hey listen I may not be around to send you a message tomorrow."
There was suddenly a knocking sound. In the recording that is.
"It's been a bad night here for me. Uhm I am kinda glad that I recorded this message for you for when I did. Hey do me a favor…"
The knocks continue throughout; "Would you check inside one of those suits in the back room? *loud BANG* I am going to try to hold out until someone checks so maybe it won't be as bad. uhh uhhh I always wondered what was in those empty heads back there …"
Music started to play….Freddy's….
"You know… oh no…"
Scream. In human. Beyond loud…trailing into…
A child sobbing?
Depth jumped in fear as a hand grabbed his arm.
The big fuzzy purple hand of a certain rabbit.
"Oh thank gosh it's just you Bonnie…What was that?"
Tilted head and a confused look.
"Oh right no mics. Sorry."
"It's fine. I actually had a question I've been meaning to ask for a while now…" she paused fidgeted, then looked him in the eye, "Why are you not in a costume? Doesn't being an exoskeleton scare you?"
Dragoon couldn't have laughed harder. Severely startling his purple companion. Raising his hand to calm her he choked out, "Nah, I'm in my costume! It's just really different then what you're used to.
"But…but I don't understand. It doesn't look like a costume" her grip tightened a bit, "it's doesn't 'feel' like one ether…"
"Heh heh…well I admit I'm not as… soft, but I'm not supposed to be."
Confusing painted her less then expressive face, "Why not?"
Dragoon sat up straighter and looked her seriously in the eye, "I'm a protector. I protect people from those who would hurt them. Being soft won't help me, so I'm as solid as steel."
"? "
He slumped a little lower, "You see…you make people smile. You're supposed to make people smile, right?"
"Yes?"
"And how would you feel if people ruined there smiles?"
She bolted upright with an anger expression, "Well I would be angry, that's not very nice!"
Nodding he said, "I was made to stop those people. Being soft wouldn't help me there would it?"
"I… Suppose so."
The paw left his arm. After a few minutes he assumed she left.
Oh well. Back to work!
Bonnie wandered to the main room, Chica waiting.
"Do you think he can help us?"
"He'll most definitely try. He got Foxy out."
Chica sighed, "But for how long? The owners aren't to be trusted…they'll find some loophole…"
They glance to Freddy, who had turned to make his move.
"You hold him back and I help the loon?"
"Got it Bon."
