Making Waves

I look up at the newly painted sign of Lucky Stars that had listed under stylists, Ellery Beelendorf AND Shea Angel. I tug on my teddy-bear hoodie from Mint Sprinkles and take a deep breath before entering the shop. "It's now or never..." I say before opening the doors. I was wearing the first skirt I ever purchased from Ellery, helping me to get confidence. I take a deep breath and say excitedly "Good morning!"

Ellery looks over at me, a little ticked off at me. "I'm sorry for the inconvenience," says Ellery sweetly as she looks over at her customer. She takes my arm and pulls me, with a little too much force, into the changing room where Danny was straightening his black polka-dot tie from Castellan.

"Late again shea?" smirks Danny as he looks at me in the mirror. He had on a tie-dyed tank top from Dept. 9 that was covered by a white pinstriped shirt from Aeronef. He wore a contrast-collar jacket from Dept. 9 and black belted, distressed jeans which was also from Dept. 9. He wore thick-rimmed glasses and white stripe-top socks from Aeronef. He also had on black work boots from Dept. 9. All came out for a grand total of $2,138.80. I stared in disbelief at the gorgeous man's outfit and my own from my house. There was a worlds different between the two.

"Danny," says another man dressed in the same thing. He had shaggy brown hair and gray eyes. There was an air of arrogance and confidence from him.

"What is it Gordon?" snaps Danny as he looks at the equally gorgeous Adonis in the room.

"Can you help me with this?" he asks, more polite than yesterday.

"Wait... why is Gordon working here?" I ask, a little more confused then I should have been.

"Well... since you're not an assistant anymore, I needed more help around the shop since you will be even more busy," explains Ellery.

"More... busy?" I ask as I start to search for my outfit that Ellery always laid out for me.

"That's what I want to talk to you about," says Ellery. "I will need you around the shop more... so I was wondering if you could work more hours."

"But I can barely make it on time as is and there isn't any way for me to get here faster," I say apologetically.

"That's why I thought I could let you rent out the room upstairs," explains Ellery.

"Up... Stairs?" I ask, a little confused again.

"Would that be alright? You can work your rent out in with your paycheck that should be fair~!"

"Um... can I request something?"

"What is it?"

"Can I get my sister to move in with me?" I ask with hopeful eyes.

"I don't see why not..." says Ellery after a while.

"Gee~! Thank you so much!" I say excitedly as I hug Ellery. "Can I go get my stuff now!"

"Um... I guess... but what about work? I'll but in more hours when I get back~! I just have to tell my sister right away!" I squeal as I run out of the changing room to the backroom. "Oh! And Ellery?"

"What is it?" asks Ellery.

"Where is my uniform for today?"

"Well... I was thinking that since you were your own stylist you could style your own outfit~!"

"My... own... outfit..." I say in disbelief. Was this the smartest idea?

I take off my school clothes in my apartment above the clothing store, that had every article of female clothing in it. I might have been living her for 2 weeks with my sister, but I still couldn't believe these gorgeous outfits were mine~! My school outfit consisted of a white bunny hood from Mint Sprinkles, yellow polka-dot stirrup tights from Mint Sprinkles with white and blue two-color high-tops from the same place. I start to shift through the numerous articles of clothing before I chose the right one.

"Sissy~!" squeals Shelly as she runs up to me as I finished clasping my frog-and-dot bra from Mint Sprinkles.

"What is it sweet heart?" I ask her as I pull on my black lace-edged camisole from Marzipan Sky.

"You're leaving already?" asks Shelly as I pull my arms through my maroon suede cuffed jacket, also from marzipan Sky.

"I have to sweet heart," I explain as I put my legs through white contrast-cuff capris from Harlow Heights.

"I understand..." says Shelly sadly as I tie my maroon lace bow from Marble Lily.

"Hey..." I say to Shelly as I put on pink square-frame glasses from Marzipan Sky before I put on blue square-frame glasses from the same store on Shelly. "I have an idea... why don't we play a game?"

"A game?" perks up Shelly as her eyes start to sparkle behind the glasses.

"Are you interested?" ask cleverly as I place a black bow-trim pearl necklace from Le spark on my neck.

"Yes~!" says Shelly happily.

"Well," I saw as I pull on my lucky purple star ankle socks from Mint Sparkle and pull on black cuffed Ankles Boots from Cantata Modo and tuck my socks in. I check my outfit and am satisfied with the high quality look with a low price tag~! Only $620 to look like a million bucks~! "There's only one thing we have to do~!"

"and what is that?" asks Shelly, getting even more excited.

"The How-Fast-Can-You-Stock-The-Shelves-Game~!" I say excitedly as I twirl around and give her an energetic smile.

"That's not a real game~!" laughs Shelly.

"What? You don't think so?" I ask in shock.

"Of course not," laughs Shelly.

"Well.. since I obviously know it and you don't... I'M GOING TO WIN~!" I squeal as I rush down to the store.

"No fair~!" Squeals Shelly as she rushes after me. We run through the halls down to the store room, colliding with Gordon.

"What was that?" asks Gordon, a little bit in a daze.

"I'm so sor-" I stare at him and my world slowly crumbles. He was wearing an Uber cloth white tank top under purple pattern-stripe T-shirt. A stone-washed jacket from Aeronef. He wore studded slim-fit jeans from Castellan and red leather gloves from Aeronef. he also wore a red basket-weave newsboy hat that was squashed under me. On his neck I noticed he was wearing his lucky-charm pendant he normally wore to school or if a hot woman came in. He was also wearing blue polka-dot socks and red lace-up boots, both from Aeronef. All in all, I just crushed a $1,320.10 outfit. My face grew pale as I realize how many years of my life I had to work for to get that much to repay the store for any damages.

"are you okay!" I say as I try to clean off any mistake or anything that was out of place or would nee repair.

"Why are you being so nice to me," asks Gordon as he shifts away from my touch.

"No reason~! No reason~!" I say as my sweet, cute facade springs up again.

"Is that right?" asks Gordon as he raises an eyebrow.

"When are we going to start the game?" asks Shelly as she tugs at my hem line.

"In a sec sweetie," I say with a sweet smile. "Let me finish talking to him first~!"

"Okay..." pouts Shelly. Ever since we moved out of our old house, I had been spoiling her and I'm pretty sure she knows it!

"What is this game you will be playing?" asks Gordon.

"Well..." I say, trying to stale possibly before I start to talk. I didn't really know what the game was about.

"We're playing How-Fast-Can-You-Stock-The-Shelves-Game~!" squeals Shelly excitedly.

"You don't even know what it is!" I laugh.

"so we're not going to play it?" asks Shelly, starting to get sad.

"Now did I say that? Did you hear me say that?" I ask Gordon directly.

"I-I don't think so..." says Gordon, a little taken aback by the sudden frontation.

"Exactly! We will be playing this game! And it will be the best game you've played~!" I say happily.

"What are the rules?" asks Gordon with a sly grin on his face.

"Well... Rules don't really matter... do they?" I ask with a tilt of my head.

"Of course not!" laughs Shelly.

"Right you are~!" I laugh with a bright smile.

Ding, ding ding.

"There's a customer!" I say as I quickly rush out of the closet. Shelly was unfortunatly following me.

"Shelly!" I say before leaving for the front. "You have to stay back here and hand me the items I ask for. That's the first rule of the game."

"But you said..."

"When have you ever listened to what I say?" I ask, a little grumbly about it. "Now stay here."

"'Kay..." says Shelly sadly, I guess she thought I would spend the whole day with her, but I had my duties to do first.

"Who is she?" I ask Danny as I enter into the main section to see a gorgeous girl with brown fringed, wavy hair and big, puppy-dog brown eyes.

"That's Leila, she loves expensive clothes and she's always been a fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants kind of girl. she needs about 8 stamps to make her a bronze member and she spends over 4k every time she's been her," explains Danny.

"How did you know that?" I ask him in complete amazement.

"It's right here on her card," says Danny as he shows me.

"Oh..." I say as I start paying more attention to the card.

"Oh, gracious! What a sweet little boutique you have here!"says a customer as she comes up to Ellery. "If you knew me, you'd know I only ever shop for clothes online."

"Of course~!" says Ellery sweetly.

"You'd never catch me coming to a brick-and-mortar shop on my own two feet!" she continues.

"What an arrogant jerk..." I whisper to Danny "She's really ticking me off!"

"I guess she's ticking Ellery off also, because she's coming over here..." says Danny.

"What!" I say in shock. He just nods his head as the gorgeous, heirest girl comes up to me.

"Now that I'm here, I'd love it if you had a necklace with a posh air about it! I just might need to buy it, if so!" she explains.

"No problem~!" I say with a cheerful smile as I start to look through the necklaces. Wait a second... I think, as I realize that I have no idea what posh is.. I've decided to wing it and bend down to Shelly who hadn't left the closet.

"Sweet heart~!" I say sweetly. "I have a new level for you~!"

"Really~!" says Shelly excitedly.

"Let's see who can find the most luxuray necklaces for the client, 'Kay?" I ask happily as I look down at her.

"'Kay~!" says Shelly as she jumps off her butt and starts to search through the necklaces. I find a sapphire stone-trio necklace from Zhade that was under 2k for her. There was one in stock and it looked just up her ally. As I turn around, Shelly comes barreling up to me with a gorgeous beaded collar necklace, also under 2k, but a lot more then my own. She wanted high-quality so why don't I give it to her?

"That's perfect!" I say to Shelly as I ruffle her hair playfully.

"Does that mean I win?" asks Shelly cheerfully.

"Only this round," I say with a wink as I turn and offer the necklace to the customer. "Why don't you try this on?"

"My, you're certainly confident! I'll just try it on quickly. I'm sure it'll be perfect!" she says as she steps in the changinc room. She then steps out excitedly looking at me.

"I'm so amazed now that I've tried it on. It couldn't be better!" she says with an excited smile. "This look is just what I wanted. It's so mature! Now you've done it... You've got me in the mood for shopping! I hope you're prepared for the consequences! I'd like you to find me a full outfit to go with what we've already chosen!"

"Then can I take it back with me to coordinate one with it?" I ask politly though my mind was completely blown.

"Of course you may," says Liela sweetly as she hands it back. I take it carefully back with me and squeal with celebration with Shelly.

"She loves it~!" I say excitedly. "Now we're advancing a level~!"

"Did I win?" asks Shelly, still stuck on that idea.

"Of course~! Now try and find the most feminen and luxury things and place it on this mannequin," I explain as I place the necklace on the mannequin. "The person with the most items to the final outfit will win~!"

"You're on~!" squeals shelly as she rushes off. We both decide a dress would be the best with that necklace. I chose a black fitted strapless dress while Shelly choses a white strapless draped dress. In the end Shelly wins.

As soon as we debate if glooves or hats should be warn with the dress, Gordon walks in.

"What are you two doing?" He asks, a little rudely.

"I'm winning Gordon~!" says Shelly excitedly as she places a had on the mannequins head.

"Good for you!" Says Gordon, almost looking human.

"Not if I can help it!" I say, a little more competitive then it should have been. We both pick a black faux-fur cossack hat (since it was the only hat left) and I pick black buckle-band Tall boots while Shelly picks purple Thigh-high boots. I won that round. Gordon just claps after we finish and leaves a comment.

"I'm so glade you are treating our client like some simple game... one with a 5k wallet at that too," says Gordon critically.

"She's not going to take her business elsewhere?" asks Shelly, starting to feel worried.

"Don't mind him," I say with a smile. "She's going to like it no matter what!"

I take the items off and offer them to Leila, holding my breath the entire time, hoping that Gordon wasn't right.

"Please try these on," I say with a sweet smile.

"You're certainly confident," says Liela again. After trying it on she steps out and flips her hair playfully. "When you recommended it, I knew I had to try it on. Outfits this mature are my one true weakness! and you're a whiz with accessories! I'll regret it if I don't buy this now!"

"Thank you so much!" I say with a releaved sigh as I take her to the cash register. It was over 4k but that didn't seem to faze her!

"I suppose I underestimated you.. Let's hope you can meet my expectations next time I visit too!" says Leila happily.

"Of course! Thank you for choosing Lucky Star~!" I say excitedly with a bow.
