Being in a relationship without anyone knowing –apart from, of course, the person you are dating- is difficult. Irrevocably difficult. It's even tougher when you are in a relationship with your werewolf best friend and you happen to live with James Potter.

Given that it is nearly impossible to do the regular coupley things, the two in the relationship will most likely spend their spare time researching about ways to fool their friends and to act like two regular people in a sexual relationship.

Sometimes this will get out of hand and very farfetched.

"I found a new game." Sirius announced, setting his books down on the coffee table in the Common Room.

Remus, who ducked behind a book to hide his blushing, was well aware of what the new game was.

"It's called gay chicken."

"Sounds too heterosexual…" James muttered.

Sirius, ignoring James, continued. "The rules are basic enough, two people of the same sex basically lean in to kiss each other and the first to back out loses, or you could grope or talk dirty or whatever."

"So for example, I could put my arm around Sirius' neck." Said Remus, pretending to catch onto the idea as he did just the thing he spoke of.

"And then I could put my hand here." Sirius said, placing his hand on the area of skin above Remus's belt.

James coughed and shifted in his seat uncomfortably. Peter pretended to write a very thorough Transfiguration essay.

"Then I would have to beat that, so I don't lose." Remus muttered, kissing Sirius on the neck.

"I would follow that by pulling Remus closer towards me." Sirius did just that, he could feel Remus' heartbeat drumming rapidly under his shirt.

Remus supressed a gasp.

"Then I'd lean in… really… close." Remus muttered, tasting Sirius's hot breath on his tongue. Their eyes were inches apart.

"Excuse me?" Came a voice from behind Sirius. Naturally, Sirius jumped only to turn around and to find Lily there. She wore a surprised expression that suggested she was a little amused. But not much.

"We're playing a game, Evans. Go away. I'm winning."

"Am not!" Cried Remus Lupin, before he planted a long lasting kiss onto Sirius' mouth.

In the seconds that followed, it was unclear who was more shocked. Remus was shocked by his audacity. Sirius, who was shocked by Remus' audacity and Lily and any bystanders –such as James and Peter- who had choked on the air they were breathing in.

Fuck, mouthed Remus, his head buzzing with possible excuses to pass off as something that would be barely believable at its best.

"Later," Murmured Sirius into Remus's ear with a grin that almost extended past his jawline.
