As I was heading towards the Pokemon center's exit I noticed someone standing in the lobby I stood there staring at him 'I know I've seen him somewhere before' I thought to myself I just kept staring at him until I heard nurse joy say over the pa system " Gary Oak your Pokemon are ready".
At that moment it felt like I got body slammed by a snorlax the reason why I recognize him is this is the terror of my childhood. ` I have to sneak out of here before he notices me' I thought to myself as started tiptoeing out of the building. right as I was reaching out to open the door i heard Gary's voice behind me "Aron its so nice to see you again". `I was so close' I thought as I turned around to see Gary staring right at me. "Hey Gary its been awhile hows your adventure going" I said through a forced smile trying to be nice. " I just got my second badge from this city's gym leader. How many badges do you have Aron?". " Well I haven't really been going for any of the badges so I don't have any". I heard Gary start laughing then I heard him say " I knew nothing would change your still the weakling you were when we were kids. I feel bad for your Pokemon being stuck with a weakling such as yourself". that struck a nerve in me im tired of him always calling me weak ill show him im not as weak as I was when we were kids'. " Gary I challenge you to a one on one Pokemon battle and when I win your not allowed to call me weak anymore!". "OK but when you lose you have to quit your journey and go back home" Gary said with a sly smirk on his face. " I accept your terms". We proceeded to the battlegrounds in the center of town and stood on opposite sides. "Alright ill start this off go farfetched". After Gary said that he threw out a regular pokeball what it released was a small bird Pokemon with what looked to be a leek in its hand. "Alright my turn go magikarp". From my pokeball came that same boring flopping red and gold fish. As I stared at magikarp what I did fully hit me there was no way I could win this fight this would be the end of my journey but im not going to go down without a fight.
I look over to see Gary standing there laughing " I felt bad for your Pokemon before but know I see how perfect you are for eachother. A worthless Pokemon for a worthless trainer". I looked down to see magikarp start flopping faster he also had an angry look on his face. "come on magikarp lets show him that were not worthless". "Alright farfetched lets end this battle quick use gust". I saw his Pokemon start to beat its wings faster and faster I knew if this attack hit magikarp it would be over " quick magikarp use splash and jump over his attack". I saw magikarp jump up but when he landed a cloud of dust formed around everything making it hard to see what happened. But when it finally cleared I couldn't believe what I saw.

I saw magikarp flopping on top of an unconscious farfetched. and Gary standing there mouth gaping. "Way to go magikarp I knew you could do it!" " There's no way your magikarp beat my farfetched you must have cheated". " well Gary I won and according to the terms agreed on you cant call me weak anymore". "yeah whatever this was just a fluke smell ya later".
meanwhile in a nearby bush sat a trainer and a pikachu "Lets get out of here pikachu".
