Arctic POV

Time seemed to move at light speed ever since that whole marriage proposal took place months ago, making both Scourge and I to become extremely busy with all these wedding requirements, decisions, just plans basically.
At least one thing we got accomplished was the date of our royal wedding, taking place in the late spring a few months after our little one was born.

Speaking of babies, both of Luna's twin daughters were currently playing on the floor with a new baby. Fiona and Lightnings child came a little earlier than expected, perhaps because they didnt have a close human ancestor as I did, or maybe its just a natural occurrence like any other.
Either way, she was a perfect mix of a lynx and fox. Creating the worlds first ever Fonx hybrid.

Her name was Stormi. While she had been born with the slim and quite flexible form of a fox, she had her fathers color in fur and hair. The fur was dusty brown instead of auburn red, the tip of her single bushy tail turning a jet black just like her short spikey bangs, that flowed delicately in the gentle breeze over her sky blue eyes.

Their facial expressions were imprinted into my mind, knowing this was probably the only time id ever see those two so gentle, lost and amazed at what they managed to bring into this world. Fiona was sobbing quietly, cradling her little one close as Stormi was wrapped in a plush white blanket, her glossy light blue eyes locked upon her mother in lost curiosity.

Lightning just had this...lost expression himself, but it had a completely different meaning. My best guess, is that he probably felt like he finally succeeded at something, knowing that Conquering Storm was wrong after all. He wasnt a total failure.
I knew Scourge would feel the same way, except a little bit different. More like, he was gonna realize he wasnt like his mean father.

Its like I said, he was an original hedgehog. A bold, courageous, hedgehog who eventually did find his true soulmate. And in return, made me realize that Scourge was mine.
Thats why I just couldnt wait to be married, to become his lawfully wedded queen.

"So we got the flowers covered, and you figured out what crown you wanted?" Luna asked, hovering just above the ground with her wings while looking over the list. She knew the most about wedding details, so I decided to let her do it.
"Yeah, it was no contest." I said with a giggle, sliding over a picture out of many indicating which crown I wanted.

This specific crown out of a million other designs was more of a request Scourge made, declaring that it was something I was gonna love. And he was right!

It was the same shape and size as Scourges, but made of silver metal and encrusted with blue gems. They started out ice blue on the top, fading down to an indigo blue on the bottom. It was just like my hair.

"Man, he's gone soft, huh?" Luna giggled, picking up Rosa and Maria. "Though, if he wasnt you wouldn't be so happy." She said, fluttering off to put the kids in the nursery, as Fiona took Stormi off to her own room.
Momentarily tapping my claws against the table, there was something I wanted to ask Luna aside from childbirth or the wedding. Something thats been driving me crazy since I found out.

Putting the wedding planner away, I sorta wobbled with my baby bump off to the nursery, seeing Luna delicately place her twins in a crib together before tucking them in with a silky blanket to keep warm. After all, it was the winter season now.
"Hey sis..I uh...I know that you dont know much about fairies..." I began, unsure if I should even ask this. Yet again, Luna did know some history about the supernatural world.

"This about your curse?" She asked, reading my mind yet again.
"Yes. Ever since I was born, these markings that indicate the fairies curse have always been pitch black. It means im evil to the core, uncontrollable." I began, checking the back of my palms yet again. They were almost invisible, being a faint light gray. "Now look at em." I said, gesturing my paw out to her.

"This is odd." She mumbled, looking over both palms. "Well, I cant really explain what this means. But ill be sure to look up something in the books." Luna promised, but still noticed how worried I looked. "Dont stress out about this, your gonna be okay."
Walking out of the room, I smiled lightly and did the same thing, except wandered off to my own room.

Getting changed into a pair of baggy, navy blue sweatpants that stretched comfortably over my bulging belly and a sea foam green v-neck shirt, I curled up atop the king sized bed.
Only thing I could do to pass the time was flick through multiple channels until Scourge did come. But in a very loud way by kicking open the door.

"Hello, my bride." He greeted with a dry chuckle, flopping down on the wide bed beside me, the sudden dip causing me to roll over onto his chest sideways to avoid harming the baby.
"Thanks for nearly forcing labor, my king." I replied flatly with a glare, but still kissing the tip of his twitchy black nose in a loving way.

"Hey, I just want the kid out of there." He explained, but quickly added, "Not that I havent been enjoying the advantages its been giving." he said in a seductive manor.
"Well dont try and force it. He or she is already a week late, meaning we'll have to wait until it wants to come out." I somewhat scolded, rolling back over onto my back when things got too uncomfortable. A mistake.

Scourge took that momentous opportunity to roll over as well, sitting on his knees that were placed on either side of my hips. He leaned forward to be face to face with me, with his balled up fists placed on either side of my head to keep his body above my large stomach.

"Fine, ill have to pass the time another way." He growled seductively.
"Scourge!" I protested, not feeling like this was very safe. Any other protests were cut off when his peach toned lips crashed over mine, muffling any possible words from escaping my mouth.

In one swift motion, Scourge was sitting up straight behind me with my back pinned to his strong, scarred chest. Those strong hands began to undo those painfully tight knots within my shoulders and upper back as he kissed my neck lovingly.

"Cmon, babe. Let me...alleviate your stress. After all, making those weddin plans must be a pain." He said seductively again, except this time all I could do was pant heavily in response. Damn, he was such a-
Suddenly my body began to tense up under his touch, a twinge of pain erupting in my stomach but I wasnt sure what this meant.

"S-Scourge~..." I purred out, but tried to make it sound serious in order for him to stop. Unfortunately, he took that as a plea to move things further.
"See babe? Just let the king take care of his queen." He purred out himself, digging his thumbs in deeper. The pain became more intense as my tails frizzed out violently, building some distance between Scourge and I.

"Scourge!" I groaned out painfully, rolling onto my side across the velvety blue blanket to begin writhing. Scourge suddenly whipped out of his state of arousal, jumping over to my side.
"Arc?" He asked, those shimmering ice blue eyes filled with so much worry.

He was right to be worried now, because a watery substance trickled down my legs onto the comforter.
