Author's Note: Hello again guys! A couple bad words in this chapter, I'm sorry! I hope you enjoy this chapter. No more writing for me because its my dad's birthday so I have to have dinner with family. Fun...
Disclaimer: I clearly don't own Glee. If I did I wouldn't be looking for a used car.
Kurt's POV
"Bye guys, see you tonight!" I shouted after them. Dad, Carole, and Finn were leaving early to go to Uncle Mark's because of the storm. There was at least half a foot of snow on the ground and it was still coming. They waved behind them in their rush to their car.
I shut and locked the door it behind me. I was in loose jeans and one of Blaine's Newton football shirts. Blaine had been held up in his room since last night and hadn't talked to me at all. I walked up the stairs and knocked softly on Blaine's door. Nothing. "Honey please open up." I whispered. I reached down and turned the knob and cracked the door. "Can I come in Blaine?" I heard a soft grunt and took it as a yes.
My heard shattered at the sight of the boy in the bed. Buried under a mountain of quilts and pillows peaked out a tear stained face. His cheeks were pink and the corners of his eyes red. He didn't look like a 16 year old boy; he looked like an 11 year old kid. I tip toed over and crawled in next to Blaine. I curled my arms around his shoulders and kissed his mound of curls. He curled in closed to my chest and started to cry again. My mind flashed back to the day Blaine came out to me. To have to hold him like this again broke my heart. Short, loud sobs filled the empty house. I ran my hand up and down Blaine's back slowly and continued to press kisses to his forehead until I felt his body relax. Small snores came from the now sleeping boy curled against me.
I had been lying in Blaine's bed for two hours before he started to stir. I loosened the grip around his shoulders and let him roll away from me. He rubbed his eyes and stretched out a yawn. "Morning honey." I whispered and brushed a curl out of his face. "Kurt?" he mumbled and grabbed my hand. "Hey." I smiled softly. "Why do we always end up in each other's beds?" he mumbled and rolled back against me. "Hey, come on. Let's get up." I said getting off the bed.
But Blaine didn't get up. He pulled a blanket over his head and curled into a ball. "Come on Blaine." I sighed.
Blaine's POV
"No, I'm not moving." I said.
"Please Blainers?" Kurt said pulling on the blanket.
"Stop it Kurt."
"You need to get up Blaine. We need to talk about those papers!" he said firmly.
I flipped back the blankets and jumped out of the bed. I stormed across the room and flung open the top drawer of my desk. "You want to know what's in this envelope. Its paper saying my mom doesn't want me! I don't even have to open it to tell you that." I shouted and threw the packet of papers on the bed.
"Blaine stop."
"No Kurt! I knew this was coming. My mom finally came to her senses and realized she doesn't want somebody like me in the house. What Clayton painted on my locker was right, all the things he said to me were right. I didn't deserve to be on that baseball team, I don't deserve to have that scholarship."
"You know that's not true Blai-"
"If it's not true why am I still getting shoved into lockers Kurt? Answer me that. Why am I getting shoved into lockers and slushied if that's not true?"
"Because people don't like who we are Blaine. And people suck. People just suck, we both know that. People are going to make us want to stop being us. Everywhere we go. They are going to want us to change. Clayton wanted you to change Blaine, that's why you're here. Your dad wanted you to change; that's why you have those papers. Not because you mother doesn't want you."
I sank down into my desk chair and ran my hand through my hair. "We just had our first shouting match." I said looking up at Kurt.
"I'm sorry." he whispered and walked over to me.
I reached out toward him and pulled Kurt onto my lap. "I love you and I'm sorry I acted like a brat." I said wiping tears from Kurt's cheek.
"You're gay; you had to have your first drama queen melt down sooner or later." Kurt grinned.
"Did you really just call me a queen?" I gaped and shoved his shoulder.
Kurt stuck his tongue out and ran out the door.
"I'm gonna change then I'll be down." I shouted after Kurt.
I changed into jeans and a hoodie and found my glasses. I looked back at the envelope on my bed. I grabbed it and stuffed it in my back pocket.
"Hey." Kurt smiled as I came up behind him. Kurt was standing at the counter cutting lettuce. I wrapped my arms around his waist and stood on my toes to lean my head on his shoulder. "Love you." I murmured against the nape of his neck. He set down the knife and turned around. "I love you too Blaine." he smiled against my lips. "What are you cooking?" I asked pulling away. "Well cutting lettuce isn't really cooking but I'll make the pizza later." he smiled.
"Sounds awesome." I said pecking him on the cheek. "I'm gonna go turn on football." I said walking out of the kitchen and flopping on the couch.
About half hour later Kurt came into the living room. "How's the game?" Kurt asked curling up next to me on the couch. "Green Bay's getting their asses kicked." I said not looking away from the T.V. "So you like the other team?" "No, I just really hate the Packers." I smiled. "Oka Mr. Bias who do you like?" "Da Bears!" I shouted. "Let's pizzas' ready." Kurt said as the oven timer beeped. "B-but it's not half-time yet." I frowned.
"Come on Blaine just pause it."
"B-but. But, Packers, and ass kicking, and football." I pouted.
"Do you want to eat in here?"
"Pleeeeeeaaaaaasssssseeeee?" I whined.
"I'll bring it in here.
"This is why I love you."
"Oh hush." Kurt said carrying a tray of pizza and a bowl of salad and setting them on the table.
"Mwah." I said kissing him and reaching for a slice of pizza.
"Hey slow down. We have to say what we're thankful for." Kurt said.
"Okay, you first."
"Um, okay. I'm thankful that Lady Gaga's new album comes out next week and I've already ordered mine." Kurt smiled.
"That's all? Nobody else you're thankful for? No special guy that you love and plan to spend your life with?"
"No, sorry. Can't think of anybody." Kurt grinned and shook his head.
"Whatever." I said sticking my tongue out.
"No I'm just kidding. I'm extremely thankful for you of course. I'm thankful that you love me and that we know that our love can make it though pretty much anything. And that we're going to have the most kick ass wedding ever because we are a pretty kick ass couple." he smiled and kissed me.
I reached over and slipped my hand into Kurt's. "Okay, um I'm obviously thankful for all the things you just said. And I'm also thankful that in a few years in going to have the best family I could ever imagine. And that I get to start getting to know them now rather than really awkwardly a couple months before we get married. But I'm most thankful that I got to meet the love of my life so soon in mine and that we get to see each other in some of the most important moments of our lives and experience them together." I said kissing Kurt softly.
"I love you honey."
"Love you too babe."
"Yes suck it Green Bay!"
"Okay you need to calm down. Like seriously."
"They just lost 40 to 10 Kurt I'm not going to calm down."
"Okay, no more T.V. It's us time." Kurt said taking the remote from me and shutting it off.
"Fine, what are we doing?"
"20 questions?"
"Can't we go make a snowman?"
"No its way too cold out B."
"Come on Kurt. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaase?"
"Ya know what, fine. Let's go play in the snow." Kurt said pulling me off the couch.
We dressed in warm cloths and raced outside. "Okay so a few rules no thr-" I let the snowball fly from my hand and watched it hit Kurt in the shoulder. "Really Blaine. Really?" Kurt said brushing snow off his shoulder. "Yeah, okay. Let's start this snowman." I said dropping to my knees and piling snow together. "Hey, Blaine." "Yeah?" I asked turning around. Smack. "Okay, truce, truce." I said holding my hands up and wiping snow off my glasses. "Good." Kurt said kneeling on the ground next to me and kissing my cheek.
"Oh my God it's frickin' freezing out. Why did we build those stupid snowmen again?" Kurt griped. "Shut up. You know you liked dressing them up. Our look-a-like snowmen are cute! I especially like that mine's wearing your letterman jacket. You should wear that more often, it cute." "That thing's ugly and shapeless. Snowman Blaine can keep it."
We were curled up on the love seat. Kurt's legs were draped over mine and his head lay lazily on my shoulder and our hands were intertwined with a blanket wrapped around us. "Whatever, you look cuter in mine." I whispered and kissed his forehead. "So you we get to play twenty questions now?" Kurt grinned. "Fine, you go first."
"Okay, when we had our first kiss you said you had kissed a girl before. Who was she?" "She was some girl I met a church camp and she was my 'date' to the dance. She kissed me and then ran back to the girl's tree line. I was like 12 it was stupid." I said, my cheeks turning pink. "Awwww, that's cute." Kurt laughed.
"My turn, what's the worst thing you've ever done?" I asked. "The worst thing I've done? Like what?" "Just the worst thing, like stealing or drinking and drugs or something." I said. "Well I've never done drugs or stole anything but, um last year before I moved in with you Rachel threw a drinking party and I may have gotten drunk and sang karaoke with Rachel and Santana. Then fell off the stage." Kurt said burying him face in the blanket. "That's not bad! That's just embarrassing. But very cute, and highly funny." I said ruffling his hair.
"Well what's the worst thing you've ever done?" Kurt asked. "This is pretty bad, for being me. Um, the summer after I turned 15 my friends and I had a party in the woods. All in good fun, right. Then one of the guy's older brother got him beer and he brought it to the party. And I may have drank some." I said quickly.
"No way, you did not." Kurt laughed. "Yes I did. I drank a freakin' canned beer and it sucked." I said. "How would you know it sucked? Have you drank more than once?" Kurt said. "Dawson and Jace may have gotten me a beer at the bar I took you too." "Blaine Samuel Anderson! You little rebel." Kurt said shoving me. "I haven't been drunk, let alone fell off a stage though. I've had two beers in my whole life, that's it!"
"Do you parent's know you did that?"
"Do you think I'd be alive of my mom or dad knew I'd drank beer? I'd be buried six feet under before I could blink."
"True. Okay, my turn. Um, how did you know?" Kurt asked.
"How did I know what?" I laughed.
"Um, that you were gay?" he asked softly.
"Oh." I whispered.
"I'm sorry B. You don't have to answer that." Kurt said.
"Um, I didn't know until I was almost 14. Being from Newton people really didn't talk about being gay so I really didn't know that the things I was feeling was normal. But then all of my friends started staring at the girls and I didn't get why. They would go to softball and volleyball games just to look at the girls. Then during a football game Clayton sacked this kid, real tiny kid smaller than me, and broke one of his ribs. When the kid didn't get up and had to be helped off the field Clayton called him a fag." I said flinching as I said the word. "I obviously didn't know what that meant. So I went home and searched it. And I basically learned who I am on the internet. But most of the stuff that came up with that word was negative things. It sucked pretty suck." I said dropping my head down and laughing sadly.
"Oh Blainers." Kurt said brushing my hair back.
"Don't worry about it. It's not as bad as your single ladies dance." I said biting my lip.
"Shut up." Kurt laughed.
"Okay, I'm done after this one." I said. "Celebrity crush."
"Patrick Dempsey. Hands down." Kurt said quickly. "He's the only reason I watch Grey's Anatomy and he's got just enough abs without it being gross."
"I've got ab muscles." I exclaimed.
"Really, let's see then." Kurt laughed.
"Fine." I said getting up. I pulled my t-shirt up so it was over my stomach.
Kurt tossed the blanket off himself and walked over to me.
"I think I need a better look." Kurt whispered grabbing the hem of my t-shirt and pulling it over my head. He ran his hand lightly down my chest and rested his hand on the band of my boxes that stuck out just above my jeans. I shivered slightly at Kurt touch. "Yeah, there is some abs there." Kurt whispered in my ear. I grabbed Kurt's hand and looked in his eyes. "Do you wanna go up stairs?" I asked softly.
Kurt pulled away and frowned at me. "Not like that." I said quickly. "I just don't want to do this in your living room." I said pulling Kurt toward the stairs. We raced up the stairs and into my room. I pulled Kurt onto the bed and laid on my back.
"I love you." I said pulled Kurt's shirt over his head and tossing in on the floor. I ran my hand down Kurt's chest and smiled against his lips. "You have some abs too babe." Kurt made a soft moan and slipped his hand under my back. "Love you too." he breathed.
