Wow! I just want to say thank you for all the lovely reviews i got!

Some people even started reading West End High and finished it in a day! Now that is something considering how long this fic is! Props to you.

My friend told me she felt chapter 48 was a small bandage compared to the deep gashes i caused in chapters 45-47 ish, so sorry for that and i hope recent fluff and happiness makes up for that.

To answer some questions and comment on reviews I feel are worth mentioning:

Stagepageandscreen: I would like you to know that i actually have an outline written out for the rest of this story... so i have some plans up my sleeve along with an ending within the next 1-3 months depending on how often i update.

Lesmisphan24601: Erik will be making a comeback in some later chapters

Joly (Guest): Dang it why do you have to be a guest?! I wanted to reply to your review through PM but I can't! Anyway, thank you for reviewing, reading all 49 chapters in a day is no small task. I am so jealous that you were in les mis! That is amazing! I will try to incoporate some of your requests but fyi I'M NOT WRITING SMUT (at least not for this fic).

Guest: I am sorry for writing medically incorrect terms last chapter. I just wanted to emphasize Enjolras was hurt, i didn't really put much thought into how. When i find a way to modify it to fit the time frame i will change that.

With that, thanks to everyone! I love you all. Now off to read the brick! (I just bought a hardcover edition for $8! i'm happy!)

If the amis lived in farm country the rooster would have just crowed, but since everyone lived in the suburbs the closest thing they got was the humming of alarm clocks and the smell of coffee filling the air, that was what marked 6 am there. However this morning was unlike the others. Several cars were filling up Courfeyrac's driveway in preparation for something they had all been waiting for; the Spring Break Road Trip! With the seniors leaving for college and this year being their last opportunity to vacation with everyone, Grantaire and Courfeyrac had convinced them all to join them on a vacation that would stay in their minds way past the school year. Most people had tried to resist, preferring to spend Spring Break unwinding and relaxing but the boys were persistent. Feuilly caved almost automatically, Joly said yes after thinking about what a change of enviroment could do for his health causing Musichetta to agree on the condition that other girls came along, this then caused them to all but beg Cosette to go who in turn convinced Marius, after that they played to Combeferre's logical side, Grantaire was able to convince Azelma - a task that proved to be a lot easier than he anticipated- and Courfeyrac suggested a big vacation to Gavroche, who practically jumped up and down with joy when hearing about, and with the young Thenardier's on board Eponine had no choice but to agree as well - as stubborn as she was she was a sap when it came to her siblings. Parent permission proved to pose an obstacle as well, but all the amis were scholarly students and amazing debaters, getting their parent's to agree was much easier than it should have been, the same went to the Thenardiers. Slowly but surely they had gone one by one and succeeded in convincing everyone but Enjolras to plan a trip with them.

The boys had saved Enjolras for last because they knew he would be the hardest to convince. If they had no one on board for their trip then trying to convince Enjolras was like trying to convince a starving lion not to go after an antelope, it was a lost cause. However now that everyone was on board for the trip it would they knew it would be very hard for him to turn them down. Especially since they had all decided to spend the week at Grantaire's parent's beach house.

The Grantaire's had bought that second home as a vacation home and it was located right on the beach and only a few hundred yards from a small woods. The house itself was amazing as well. It was a six bedroom house with a game room, two dens, a flat screen, back terrace and large windows making up the walls. It actually belong to the whole family- uncles, grandparents, and aunts included- but it was of free use to all of them. That was the magic of families. The second Courfeyrac found out about it his heart was set on spending their vacation there. The approval came after many relentless hours of debate, prodding, carefully planned out thesis points and a healthy load of begging and groveling on their part. But it all paid off as Grantaire' finally caved and gave them permission and the keys to the house.

The approval for the house was easy compared to trying to get Enjolras to come along.

"No!" He said when they approached him in the cafe, they haven't even asked anything but he already knew what was on their minds. This marked the third time they tried to approach him within the last two days.

Courfeyrac stepped in at that point. "Oh come on Enjolras! It's our senior year! Our last chance to go out and have fun with everyone!"

Enjolras rolled his eyes but kept them focused on the book in from of him, "I do not see how spending a week away in a house full of teenagers could be fun. Knowing you it will get completely chaotic!"

"When are you going to pull that stick out of your ass Enjolras!?" exclaimed Grantaire, "We are just spending a few days at the beach house, don't you remember hanging out there as kids?"

"That was before you decided to become a party animal."

"Maybe this trip will bring back the good old times!" argued Grantaire.

"Nice try R but-"

"What are you going to do here?!" Asked Courfeyrac as a last resort, "Almost everyone else is going, your best friend and girlfriend included. With them gone you are going to be left here all alone…..with no one to keep you company. Now I don't know about you but that doesn't seem like a good way to spend Spring Break."

"It actually seems pretty anti-social to me." Added Grantaire, "Do you not like people Enjy?"

Enjolras sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose in irritation, "Actually most people annoy me." He responded, causing the other two to drop their heads, "But, you make a compelling argument and honestly I am too tired to deal with you anymore."

Grantaire grinned from ear to ear, "So does this mean….."

"Yes R it means I'll go." He answered, irritation layering in his voice

And just like that Courfeyrac and Grantaire had managed to get just about everyone to go, Bossuet being the only exceptions as he had previous family plans and was staying behind to spend time with his girlfriend.

In the early morning sun they both waited with several other of their friends for everyone to finally show up. Gavroche was fast asleep in the back seat of Courfeyrac's car, snuggled under a blanket and using some jackets as a pillow. When Grantaire drove to Courfeyrac's he stopped by the Thenardier's place and picked up all three of them; Azelma was ecstatic and energetic- even at 5:30 in the morning- her bright yellow shorts and blue tank going perfectly with her hyperactive jumping and quick chatter, while an irritated Eponine in baggy sweats carried a sleeping Gavroche out of the house and into Grantaire's car with an annoyed frown on her face. The former was actively texting and checking for weather and routes on her phone next to them while the latter was leaning against the garage door siping on an iced mocha, courtesy of the cafe, with her sunglasses hiding the large bags under her eyes- she wasn't a morning person in general but Gavroche had kept her up until well past 2 am meaning she was on even less sleep than usual and tired Eponine was often cranky Eponine as well.

Soon all the amis arrived one by one to the Courfeyrac estate, each drinking large amounts of coffee and gorging on sugary doughnuts. Combeferre looked particularly ready for the trip with his bed head and sleepy look.

"Why did I ever agree to meet you all here at 5:30 in the morning! I'm never awake at this time! Not even during school days!"

Courfeyrac chuckled, "Because the Grantaire's beach house is 4 hours away and we want to make it by noon."

"But that leaves-"

"Just enough time for breaks, sight-seeing and breakfast!" Cut in Grantaire, "½ the fun of the trip is the journey there."

Courfeyrac smirked at the two boys, "Ain't about how fast we get there, ain't about what's waiting on the other siiiide! Its the cliii-"

"NO!" exclaimed a voice coming from the sidewalk. Everyone turned to see a bright eyed but irritated Enjolras in black track pants and a red sweatshirt marching up the driveway with a large black duffel bag in his hand, "We are NOT singing any Miley Cyrus songs on this trip! I forbid it!"

Courfeyrac pouted, "But-"

"No if ands or buts!" cut in Enjolras, "If you do so help me I will turn around here and now! I will not be tagging along only to have my ears bleed out!"

"Even so I will also kick your ass if you do sing that or anything by Justin Bieber." added Eponine from her spot against the garage.

"Oh sure," said Grantaire sarcastically with an eye roll, "I am just shaking in my boots."

"You should be." replied Eponine humorlessly

"Good morning to you too Ep." Greeted Enjolras

The response she was met with was Eponine scrunching her nose and scoffing before turning to her phone.

"I forget she's not a morning person." Stated Combeferre

However the moment Cosette and Musichetta showed up Eponine's mood seemed to improve dramatically, which was good for everyone since grumpy-tired Eponine was also directly related to violent and mean Eponine. The two girls and Azelma had each brought two suitcases along with a large bag Eponine could only guess held makeup, hair dryers, beauty products, and other essentials. They were slightly tired too but their excitement was bigger than their fatigue. Within the next 15 minutes the rest of the boys showed up making a grand total of 13 people on board for the trip to the beach house. As soon as everyone arrive they quickly loaded up, as a group they were able to get three minivans in between them, each with large trucks and leg room. It was decided that each car would hold five people with Enjolras in one, Combeferre in another and Grantaire in the last, that way there was at least one driver who knew the route to the beach house well. That with the Waze app made them put their mind at ease navigation wise. Each car also had at least one girl, the only reason being that someone needed to watch over them and a car full of all guys on a long trip usually did not end well. In the end Gavroche, Courfeyrac, Bahorel, and Azelma joined Grantaire in his car while Musichetta, Joly, Cosette, and Marius hopped in Combeferre's car leaving Eponine, Jehan and Feuilly to go with Enjolras.

Eponine sighed in relief as soon as it was announced they were about to leave, believing she would be able to sleep the entire car ride there. She was wrong. Jehan and Feuilly all but sprinted into the back seats of Enjolras' car, forcing Eponine to have to take the passenger seat, automatically making her the co-pilot in their team.

At 6:30 they were all finally on the road and on their way to the beach house. The car ride was fine in general, well as fine as any six hour car ride could be. Around 8 am they all went to the McDonald's drive through and grabbed a quick bite. Other than a few bathroom breaks here and there -one being started by Gavroche and the other by Joly who claimed holding in urine was bad for uour health and insisted on stopping- there were no distraction. Along the way Eponine flipped through her phone to find music play music while taking to Jehan and Feuilly about art and romance - a topic Enjolras did not find amusing- Marius and Cosette made Combeferre sick with their cuteness while Joly and Musichetta only seemed to encourage it with the moments they were having, and Azelma found the need to constantly flirt with Grantaire all the way with Gavroche and Courfeyrac making jokes at Bahorel's expense while they watched Shrek.

Fair to say when they all finally arrived at the beach house there were several people who just about wanted to sprint out of the car. As they all exited the cars many were left star struck by the size and grandeur of the house.

"Wow….." exclaimed Azelma as she set her bags down on the front porch. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped as she entered the house. It was a beautiful building with an amazing view, great furniture and an aura that just screamed comfort and luxury. She was left speechless as she took it all in.

"Weren't expecting this were you Zel?" asked Grantaire, a smirk on his face.

"No not at all. Remind me to stay on your good side."

Grantaire widened his smirk and threw an arm around Azelma before kissing her head, "You already are ma chere, you already are."

After some deliberation the six bedrooms we finally divided among all the friends and roommates were assigned to each of them. Enjolras and Ferre were placed the room closest to the library; Grantaire, Courfeyrac, and Gavroche decided to be the group of three and claimed the master bedroom; Cosette and Chetta got the room with the largest vanity and closet; Azelma and Eponine were able to snag the room with the window walls that glass doors that lead to the back terrace and beach, or what really mattered, the best view; Feuilly, Jehan, and Bahorel agreed to be the other group of three and received the only room downstairs, and also the one by the kitchen, leaving Marius and Joly to share and get assigned the room closest to the bathroom which was just fine for Joly.

Around 2 pm Eponine was lying down on the couch with her head in Enjolras' lap and her legs propped up against the headrest reading a book when Grantaire, Azelma, Courfeyrac, Gavroche all came running down stairs in bright colored swimsuits, flip flops, and sunglasses.

"What on earth are you three doing?" asked Musichetta as she looked up from her sketchbook to stare at them with a raised eyebrow.

"We are at a beach house people." stressed Gavroche, "We need to bask in the glory and take advantage of this chance!"

Eponine sighed, "I think I know where this is going and I don't like it."

While it was still early afternoon most everyone was jet lagged and tired from the trip. They were all happy to be there but fatigue filled them to the brim. Eponine for example wanted to do nothing more than lie around the house for just that day and rest. However the boys were not budging and it didn't help when Jehan and Feuilly joined in claiming the beach would help for artistic inspiration, Bahorel wanted to blow off some steam and Musichetta thought spending some time at the beach would serve her tan well.

"Come on 'Ponine!" begged Gavroche. "It will be so much fun!"

"You go on Gav, I'm not really in the mood."

He pouted, "But it won't be the same without you."

"Now Eponine have a heart," argued Courfeyrac, "You don't want to crush a little's boys dream of a day at the beach do you?"

"I can't believe you would stoop as low as guilting me." Eponine scoffed but swung her legs so she was sitting up straight. "You guys are awful! I'll be outside in 10 minutes."

"YES!" exclaimed Gavroche in joy before pivoting on his heel and running out the back door to meet where the house met the beach.

Eponine rolled her eyes as she went up the stairs but couldn't help the smile that was creeping up on her face. Seeing Gavroche so happy made her heart soar.

About twenty minutes later all the boys were hanging out in the back of the house waiting for the girls to make an appearance. They had all changed and gone out the door in five minutes flat but the girls seemed to be taking over twice that amount.

"Why does it take girls so long to get ready?!" Complained Courfeyrac, "They are coming out to the beach not school. They will be covered in sand and sun soon anyway."

Combeferre rolled his eyes, "Its best not to question how women work Courf. At times I feel they are separate species all their own."

"Amen brother!" cheered Bahorel.

"Lest you forget," cut in Jehan, "good things come to those who wait."

Before anyone could question what he meant the glass door opened and the girls finally made an appearance. Cosette was wearing a white tankini with pink shorts and sandals, Musichetta sported a leopard bikini with a sheer black cover-up on top, Azelma wore a hot pink halter bikini with a large sunhat and glasses to accessories.

"I am starting to see the benefits of them taking so long." muttered Grantaire, his comment being met with a nod from Joly and Marius.

Eponine came in after them looking a little uncomfortable as she walked toward them. Her body was tense, her arms were crossed over her chest and the look on her face was anything but happy. She wore a bright red one piece bathing suit with cut outs at her waist, black flip flops and her hair in a loose braid. Enjolras turned his head to glance at her and he swore his heart skipped a beat. She didn't take as much time as the other girls did but he still thought she looked great.

"You know your cheeks are almost as red as her bathing suit right?" teased Combeferre. Enjolras rolled his eyes and playfully shoved his best friend.

Eponine looked around for a little bit before walking over to meet Enjolras and Combeferre. The moment she set her eyes on them she entire body relaxed and a small smile formed on her face. Her eyes discreetly landed on Enjolras' abs and stayed there as he decided to go shirtless. Eponine had obviously seem shirtless men before but this was the first time she saw Enjolras shirtless and she was very happy with what she saw. He had a very toned chest and rock hard abs along with amazing arms. How he got that body she did not know but she didn't mind one single bit. A mild breeze ran through Enjolras thick curls and that along with his red swim trunks and the half smile on his face Eponine could have sworn she was looking at a perfect marble statue- his posture was perfect and the look on his face was impeccable, there was just no way he could be real, but he was human and he was hers.

"Wow…." She breathed out, not realizing she said it out loud.

"What?" asked Enjolras, his eyes showing amusement

"Nothing!" Eponine yelped automatically, "Nothing at all…."

Enjolras chuckled, "Ok then."

Eponine swallowed and licked her lips, "I have to admit this place is really cool. The landscape is here amazing, like it was taken out of a travel book."

Combeferre nodded, "I agree, and Feuilly seems to be using that to his advantage." He gestured over to where Feuilly was sitting on a rock painting the scene around him.

"Yea I see that." Eponine giggled. She looked out onto the crystal blue water and sighed, "The water here is what gets me. The lake is beautiful!"

Enjolras' eyes flickered over the lake behind him before addressing Eponine in absent minded voice, "It really is. Have you considered actually going in?"

Eponine shrugged, "Not really. I like observing it from a distance."

"Well that is just too bad."

Eponine cocked an eyebrow at him and opened her mouth to question him but before she could utter one syllable Enjolras lunged toward her and threw her over his shoulder before running toward the water. Eponine squealed in protest and pounded on his back but it was to no avail. Within 10 seconds she went from having hot sand under her feet to having cool water splash around her. Everyone on the beached turned their attention to the couple and started laughing hysterically as they watched the scene in front of them. Enjolras pushed the envelope and dove under the water slightly, taking Eponine with him. When they resurfaced Enjolras gently set her down, a wide smile on his face while an angry face found a home on her face.

"You are a jerk!" She exclaimed, trying to hide the laughter in her voice, as she found her footing in the water.

"Well I found it better that you meet the water vs just longing for it from a distance." He teased

"You are going to pay Aiden!"

He smirked, "Bring it on Thenardier!"

The sun was low, the group had been spending four hours outside on the beach and they all made it obvious. Almost all of them were covered, or at least sprinkled with sand, and water dripped from their hair - for some it was voluntary but others had been victims like Eponine- and the sun mark themed, making their skin darker and sunkissed. Now with the sun setting just by the shoreline they were all gathered up on the waterline for an intense game of football, girls, Gavroche and Grantaire against the rest of boys. With the day just about ending energy was high and the teams were ready to nail each other. As soon as the game set off chaos ensued; Musichetta being the clever woman she was shed her cover up and played against the boys in her leopard bikini, getting just the results she wanted from Joly and Courfeyrac; Cosette once got hand of the ball and Marius was hot on her tail but a quick pout from her caused Marius to relax as let her go, what he didn't expect was Cosette smirking and plowing through him; at one point Gavroche intercepted the ball and when the boys started going after him Grantaire picked him up and placed him on his shoulders before sprinting down the beach to score a touchdown with Gavroche laughing and flailing his arms the whole way. After that Courfeyrac and Enjolras were arguing over some play they weren't sure if they wanted to make when Eponine got a bit annoyed.

"Could you girls stop exchanging make up tips and just throw the damn ball?"

Courfeyrac and Enjolras glares at her playfully with cocked eyebrows and the next thing she knew Eponine was being tackled on the ground by Enjolras.

The game ended soon after that with the girls winning by two touchdowns. After that the boys were hungry and they all knew food was needed then and there.

Dinner consisted of frozen pizza on the back patio and brownies courtesy of Cosette and Azelma. They ended the night with a bonfire on the beach. Eponine came out with a giant bag of marshmallows, causing all the boys to cheer and thank her before diving for the bag. Eponine let the bag drop to the sand with a laugh as she watched the guys scramble for the soft candy. The only boy not going after it was Enjolras who was seated on a towel near the fire with an open book on his lap and a highlighter pen in his hand. Rolling her eyes playfully Eponine plopped down next to him and sat back on her hands.

"I have to say I'm glad I agreed to come." She began, "Day one and already I've having a blast."

"Let's see you feel within the next few days." Enjolras stated, "When we are fighting for the bathroom and you are yelling at everyone to pick up their mess."

Eponine scoffed softly at him, "Must you be such a killjoy?"

"It comes with the package. You knew that when you started dating me."

Eponine stuck her tongue out at him and it was at that moment that Enjolras finally turned to face her. When his eyes landed on her he noticed that she was wearing his favorite sweatshirt.

"Where did you get that?" He asked playfully

Eponine shrugged, "You left it on the couch, it was fair game. Besides it's really comfy and smells nice."

"Remind me to be more careful in the future."

"Like you don't love me wearing your sweatshirt." She teased

Enjolras mimicked her and rolled his eyes at her as he slung an arm around her shoulders and brought her in close to kiss her deeply. Eponine smiled against his lips and deepened the kiss by wrapping one arm around his waist and placing one hand at the back of his neck.

Unbeknownst to them they were being watched by some of their friends.

"Aww just look at them!" Exclaimed Jehan, "They are adorable, she is starting to crack the marble!"

Joly chuckled, "Always the poetic one aren't you Jehan?"

Combeferre glanced over his shoulder to see the couple snuggling together, "Remind me to keep a close eye on those two."

It was early afternoon and yet again everyone was up and ready for another fun day. Combeferre had accidently let it slip that about half a mile down the beach was a pathway that lead to a small pond. Unlike the lake this pond was surrounded by trees, grass and nature. Everyone jumped at the chance to go, the sense of adventure filling their bones. Everyone that is except Musichetta and Joly, those two decided to sit this one out and stay behind at the house. Enjolras tried to stay behind too but after much protest Eponine, Combeferre and Grantaire teamed up and all but forced him to go.

Within an hour they all reach the pound and it was even better than Combeferre had described, there was even a large tree with a rope for them to swing into the water.

"This place just keeps getting better and better!" shouted Gavroche in glee and he ran toward the cool water of the lake.

The teenagers watched and laughed at the little boy's excitement, somehow that alone made the trip twice as enjoyable all on its own. Spying the swing from the corner of her eye Eponine automatically kicked off her shorts and made a run for it. She had never been on one of the swing ropes but it had been in almost every summer chick flick Azelma made her watch and she had a burning desire to try it out. Acting on impulse she snatched the thick rope and held it tightly, swinging in the air like a pendulum before releasing the rope and flying in the air for a few moments and crashing onto the water in a cannonball, sending large ripples of water all across the pond. As soon as she felt the water surround her, a smile widened across Eponine's face and she resurfaced feeling refreshed and happy.

"Join in everyone! The water is amazing!" She cheered as she back stroked across the surface.

Without much protest everyone soon followed her orders and ran into the pond. The water around them was cool and calm, and the scenery made it seem like they were in their own little world. They all laughed and splashed around- the latter much to the protest of Azelma as she hid behind Grantaire. The splashing soon intensified and it got to the point where they were all having a free for all war, not caring who they splashed as long as the water they moved hit someone.

Eventually Courfeyrac came up with an idea.

"Let's play chicken!" He suggested excitedly

This caused a raised eyebrow from Enjolras but a loud cheer in agreement from everyone else. Pools, beaches, and anywhere else with a lifeguard often protested the game, saying it was too dangerous, but almost everyone fun-loving teeager known to man loved the game of chicken and they weren't about to waste their chance to play it. Enjolras however was one of those who did not love the game. Even with Eponine's pouted, Courfeyrac's persisting, and Combeferre's argument Enjolras would not budge and everyone else lost the energy to debate. Out of habit the three girls and Gavroche volunteered to be the pushers with boys at the base, it was decided that they would all play against each other by twos and the winners would play again- Cosette and Marius paired up, Courfeyrac and Gavroche made up another team, Azelma and Grantaire somehow gravitated toward one another, leaving Eponine to partner up with Bahorel. The game was set and to no one's surprise it was intense. Even Cosette who was sweet beyond belief let her competitive side show when she battled Azelma and later Gavroche. In the end it was Cosette and Marius and against Eponine and Bahorel, the game was one. Cosette managed to push Eponine away and almost knock her off of Bahorel but somehow Eponine was able to keep herself propped on his shoulders and came back up with an even bigger fire in her eye. After that it was all over, within 60 seconds Eponine managed to push Cosette, causing both her and Marius to fall backward into the water.

"VICTORY!" Cheered Eponine and Bahorel as they ran across the water. However their joy was short lived as almost immediately Combeferre and Courfeyrac tackled Bahorel, making both him and Eponine fall into the water.

From his spot against the tree Enjolras chuckled at his friends. You are really something people. But I'm glad to have you.

Joly smiled at Musichetta as she sat next to him on the log bench. Since everyone was out at the pond and they had stayed behind they decided to bask in each other's company. The sun was bouncing off her red hair, making it shine all the more. Joly paused a moment to admire her beauty in the sunset. Everything from the sharpness of her cheekbones to the point of her nose to the way her hands moves to work on the design on her lap. Since the first time he set eyes on her Joly knew she was something special and after getting to know her, found out she was something thinking he takes her hand in his and places a kiss to her temple.

Musichetta smirked, "What's with the sudden contact?"

"I just remembered how much I liked you." Joly replied quietly, a soft smile forming.

"Well its a good thing I like you too." She replied, turning her head to face him. "You are adorable, do you know that?"

Joly's face brightened, he slowly brought his face close to hers, their lips only a breath away. "I like hearing you say that, especially since no one can ever beat your beauty. I wonder how I ever managed to get a girl like you."

"The same way I got a guy as sweet as you." She said softly before closing the gap.

"Ew!" shouted a voice behind them. They both turned around to see Gavroche standing nearby with the rest of the amis in tow. "Get a room you two!"

"To be fair Gavroche they were all alone." commented Bahorel, "We should be happy all we walked in on was them kissing."

Gavroche rolled his eyes, "Get your mind out of the gutter!"

Bahorel put his hands up in surrender, "I didn't say what else they could be doing. Whatever you thought was all on you."

At that moment Eponine walked up behind Bahorel and smacked him upside the head, "Stop corrupting my brother!"

"Have a sense of humor Thenardier!"

"I do, when it doesn't involve corrupting Gavroche."

Bahorel rolled his eyes at her to which Eponine scoffed. That was when Gavroche decided it was time to step in. "I'm not 10 anymore Eponine! I'm 11 eleven remember? My birthday was two weeks ago!"

Eponine chuckled, "I know Gavroche I know."

"I don't know about you," Interrupted Feuilly, "But I for one am starving!"

Jehan nodded in agreement, "Yes, let's go get some grub."

"I'm up for anything as long as it isn't pizza!" added in Joly, "A man can only handle so much."

Cosette giggled, "I can whip up some pasta in ten minutes."

"Yes!" cheered Grantaire, "Thank you Cosette you are God-sent!"

"I try," Cosette said with a giggle, running into the house to begin cooking but not before snatching Azelma and Jehan to help her cook.

Safe to say dinner was delicious that night.

"Now how did I know you would be here?" said a voice behind Eponine sofly

"Because you know me really well?" She guessed.

It was well after midnight and the moon was high above them in the night sky with the stars twinkling along with it. The night in front of them was completely serene and peaceful, the moon pushed and pulled the tide unto the beached creating gently waves across the shore line. It was one of the reasons Eponine loved the night the most, the whole world was asleep and for those few hours the world was silent, every worry was gone and every thought seemed unimportant. It was the perfect time to unwind and let her mind at ease. Throughout the past few weeks Eponine had less reason to escape into her nighttime world, her life happy and safe and secure, but she still needed her time in her mind. It was what made her keep in tune with herself. However before when she left the peace of the night it was usually to re-enter a hell hole but as of late her reality was almost as her fantasy. That was something she never imagined was possible but it was grateful that it was.

Enjolras sat next to her, "How are you Ep?"

She smiled at him, "I'm good, great actually. I really love it here."

"I have to admit it's pretty great."

"Who the hell would have thought Grantaire and Courfeyrac could plan something as wonderful and fun as this?"

"Not me…." Enjolras said softly, "I almost didn't come."

"I know, but I am glad you did. I wouldn't have enjoyed this as much if you were back at home being a complete killjoy. Especially since your house is always empty."

"Yes that wouldn't have been very enjoyable either."

Eponine smiled and snuggled up close to Enjolras, "I'm glad you came."

"Me too." agreed Enjolras, kissing Eponine's head lightly, "Me too."

"You smell good." Eponine mumbles

Enjolras chuckled and the sound vibrated in his chest against Eponine's ear. "I'm glad to hear you think that. I'm usually not commented on my smell very much."

Eponine blushed, "I know that sounds weird but it's what I think. Smells appeal to me, like the smell of rain, meadows, trees, the beach, wood, Home Depot….."

"You had me until Home Depot."

Eponine playfully hit his chest, "Don't judge me!"

"Never Ep, I know you too well to do that." He responded as he wrapped an arm around her, "Besides with the friends we have none of us have any right to judge anyone."

Eponine let out a hearty laugh, "I have to agree with you there Enj."

Me: So today we have Melody and Solaria daughter of Apollo; they've come to visit.

Melody:I'm super excited! Now how best to annoy enjy?! Does he like show tunes? Ill sing rent and wicked and legally blond and grease and...

Solaria daughter of Apollo: you have made her very happy

Me: I can tell. Tho how Enjy will...

Enjolras: Showtunes?!

Me: *shrug* You've sang them enough times

Melody:maybe courf and R could help me sing them...ill teach them the words!

Grantaire: It sounds like fun

Courfeyrac: I've noticed that many of your visitors have asked for me... I'm a popular guy

Me: They also annoy Enjy so don't get too cocky

Enjolras: *whispers* Too late

Melody: courf dearie, you are a sweetheart , and you help annoy enjy, thats why the people ask to hangout with you. You are popular. And cute. Thats another reason. And Grantaire i am so looking forward to this. What drinks do you have in the baricade? I like white wine and vodka..but i can drink red wine

Me: I think we have red wine and whiskey, or at least that's what it smells like.

Grantaire: No one touches my wine!

Me: *roll eyes* Relax R it's not like she is going to chug everything down. Just give her a glass

Grantaire: Fine *pours you a glass of red wine*

Melody: thank you dear...could ya put of whisky in there please? I plan on gettin good and drunk for this

Solaria daughter of Apollo: oh dear

Me: eeee... One drunk at the barricade is enough

Enjolras: Remind everyone not to let her near anything that could be a potential weapon

Me: On it

Mel: oh dear, you have nothing to worry about. When im drunk, i sing showtunes and hug the closest thing to me

Solaria daughter of Apollo': it is funny when the 'thing closest to her' is pointy last time it was a cactus

Enjolras: Fine modetely drunk but not full on

Melody: my dear Enjolras, you have no control over my actions. I can do whatsoever i please. Freedom, right? You like the idea of freedon? Thats what you tell people about? Then let me be free to drink as much as i wish

Enjolas: *pinches bridge of nose* Yes freedom is good but so is saftey

Melody: Enjy, like i said before. Im not going to hurt anyone. I just get clingey and loud. No one gets hurt

Enjolras: Ok fine then

Solaria daughter of Apollo: how is it that she always gets her way, no matter who she is talking to?

Melody: its a gift dear sunny. Grantaire, hand me a bottle please. I'd like to get good and drunk for this. You boys had better start drinking too

Combeferre: What?

Courfeyrac: Just go with it

Grantaire: I'm all for it

Me: Of course you are wine-cask

Enjolras: I'm starting to regret this...

melody: i am really starting to like you guys :)

Me: R, how much wine have you given her

Grantaire: I have her a bottle but i'd thought she's share it

Me: *facepalm* ah yah yah...

melody: share? What is this consept? It is new to me.

Me: Ok i think we got to wrap this up before anyone get's any drunker

Enjolras: Yea good idea
