In Mystic Fall's, everything was going pretty well to. Rachel woke up around 10 to see her father and Rebekah already up and in the kitchen, making breakfast together. They had a lot to do for the big party they had planned for all of their friends. A lot of people where invited and it was good that they were vampires, super speed was a great gift.

Rachel quickly cast a spell so that the house would be ready for the party about to happen.

"You're doing much better than Mickey did in Fantasia Honey." Damon joked as he passed by her.

"Oh, it's nice to know that I'm better than a mouse!" Rachel replied.

"I'm sure Harry Potter would have done it faster though!" Rebekah added.

"Keep this going and you two will be alone to prepare everything." Rachel warned them with a teasing smile.

"Oh, you know that we love you Rachel!" Rebekah said, coming to hug her friend while Damon kept on cooking.

Rachel just laughed and kept arranging everything where they wanted it to be before she ran upstairs and got a shower. She quickly got ready, putting only Klaus' jewellery on before she got downstairs just in time to start welcoming the guests.

Damon had hired a few maids for the day so that he didn't have to worry about serving and everything and they were dressed in sexy Misses Santa suits.

First, Alaric arrived with Jenna and Jeremy.

"Elena isn't coming, we know that you only invited her to be polite and so does she. She decided to go at Bonnie's." Jenna explained.

"It's okay, don't worry." Damon replied before their guests moved inside and let them welcome the other guests.

The next ones to arrive where Caroline and Liz, soon followed by Liz' ex husband Bill and his boyfriend Steve. After them, the Lockwood arrived, including Matt and Mason who was in town for the holidays. The rest of the Mickealson's were last to arrive, or so they thought. Stefan finally decided to join his brother and niece.

"Elena is going to be pissed at him!" Jeremy whispered to Matt and Kol.

"It's good for him to claim some of his freedom back, that guy has to get his balls back from your sister." Kol commented, making them both chuckle as Stefan, who had obviously heard them, did his best to ignore them.

"I think she got them in too tight a grip. It's not going to be easy!"Matt joked.

At some point, Tyler and Santana called to tell them that everything was going fine for them and to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. They talked with their friends and family and Santana's parents even talked a while with Damon (who was still wearing his magical bracelet) to thank him for taking such good care of their daughter.

They were all having so much fun that they didn't notice the vampire doppelganger spying on them through the windows. Had they looked out and seen her, they would have noticed the calculating look on her face as she watched Sage, Rebekah and Rachel talking with Santana on the phone. She obviously had something planed and nobody knew about it. Like she told Damon one day, she always had a plan B and a plan C and an entire alphabet of back up plans. She wanted revenge from Klaus and now she wanted to hurt Damon to for not being on her side... She was going to hurt their new little family and she had it all planed out.

She noticed that the female that were at the center of this little family all wore jewellery. It was good to know. She was sure that this was the perfect way to take care of her problems. Already a completely new plan was forming in her mind and she was sure that nobody would think of this... It was flawless.

The Salvatore Christmas day party had started around noon but didn't end until late in the night. They all took turn singing, dancing and playing some games.

As it turned out, Damon and Mason were great charade partners. They teamed up with Alaric and the three of them were almost unbeatable.

For the first time in his life, Klaus was enjoying a family holiday.

Not only did he have the loyal and real family he had always dreamed of but he held in his arms the girl he knew would be only his since he had asked the question to the gift she had given him. He was happy and was confident that the future would be too.
