"What do you mean you 'kind of lost it'? How did you manage to 'kind of lose' a dead body in the middle of nowhere?" Klaus yelled so loudly that Elijah, Sage and Finn, who where in the house, rushed to his side to find out what was going on.

"Well, we managed to climb at the top of that sleeping volcano you wanted us to drop him in but..." The first hybrid started.

"But?" Klaus growled menacingly.

"Well, we don't really remember what happened but when we woke up, we were in the same place and the body was gone." The second one finished.

"Do you remember hearing or seeing anything out of the ordinary before you blacked out?" Elijah asked.

"No, not really..."

"We're really sorry Klaus, we swear we looked all around before coming here... We don't know what happened... We even dug all around to see if it had been buried but nothing..." The second hybrid added.

"Go. The two of you better leave before I stop managing my anger and kill you two for messing up something that was so easy to do in the first place." Klaus growled.

In the blink of an eye, the two hybrids were gone and Klaus was smashing a chair into a wall. He had been so happy lately, he actually believed that everything would be alright and that he was at the beginning of a happily ever after with Rachel... Mickeal's body disappearing so suddenly and mysteriously was definitely suspicious and he could see that his siblings were just as worried as he was.

Rebekah was about to head in Glee when she realised she had a message on her phone. It was from Elijah, he was warning her about Mickeal's body disappearing and she stopped Rachel from coming inside immediately.

"What is it Rebekah?" Rachel asked her.

"Elijah left me a message. The hybrids that were supposed to dispose of Mickeal's body came over and told him that they lost it... They blacked out and woke up in the same place but with no body..." She explained quickly, feeling very tensed.

"Klaus must be furious!" Rachel exclaimed as Tyler, Caroline and Santana walked closer.

Out of the corner of her eyes, Rachel saw Stefan looking their way. He had obviously heard everything and she swore his reaction meant that he linked this to something else. She decided to walk over to him since he was alone for the time being.

"Uncle Stefan? What's wrong?" She asked him softly.

"I was supposed to meet Elena 25 minutes ago but I think she forgot. When she didn't show up I went to look for her and found her speaking in hushed voices with Bonnie and Katherine. I think Katherine spent a lot of time with Elena lately. I think she's the one Jeremy told me about...You know...calling Elena all the time and everything... Anyway, I have reasons to believe that they are involved in Mickeal's body disappearing..." He confessed.

"What do you mean?" Rachel asked as Rebekah, Santana, Tyler and Caroline (who went to stand next to Stefan and gently put one of her hand on his arm).

"I heard them talking about something... I really didn't hear much but they were talking about a calcified dead body Katherine was keeping safe. Apparently, they were going to do something with it and then need Bonnie to do some magic...But only after... It was weird and confusing but since Mickeal's body is missing..." Stefan explained, feeling better now that Caroline's hand was showing him support.

"I should go and warn my brothers right away." Rebekah exclaimed.

"I'll go with you." Rachel said.

They both asked Santana to cover for them and rushed out of the school, leaving Stefan and Caroline alone in the corridor.

"Come on, you'll feel better after an hour of Glee." Caroline said cheerfully as she dragged him behind her.

"I'm not a member." He protested.

"We're open to new people." Caroline said with a wide smile Stefan just couldn't refuse.

This was how it was supposed to feel. He was supposed to feel this way for Elena... Shaking the guilt out of his head, he followed his blond friend silently and broodingly.

Caroline went immediately to Alaric, telling him that she had something prepared for the day and when he finally gave her the floor, she sang "You belong with me" (Taylor Swift), looking at Stefan all the time, wondering if he was getting the message or if he was too caught in Elena and her troubles to care that she was falling for him.

Rebekah and Rachel arrived just in time to hear a lot of yelling. Klaus was furious and nobody seemed able to calm him. While Rebekah went to explain what they had found out to Elijah, Rachel rushed to Klaus.

As soon as he saw Rachel, Klaus calmed down a bit. Sage and Finn left the room to join Elijah while the youngest Salvatore brought the man she loved in her arms, telling him that everything would be fine and that they would be able to fight through anything that came at them.

Klaus managed to calm down. With Rachel in his arms, it was easier to have faith in a happy future for all of them.

While Elena walked back in her house, Katherine smirked.

Being the oldest doppelganger alive gave her some sort of control over the latest doppelganger and having Elena under her power was a very pleasant thing. Almost as pleasant as the power she and Elena held over men.

Elena didn't even realise that she was helping her kill the only people that could have helped her live. After all, only Rachel would have been powerful enough to break the Doppelganger curse and make Elena another simple human being like any others.

As she glanced down at Mickeal's still calcified body lying in the box, she smirked.

"Are you sure that's what you want miss?" The man asked her.

She was in a shop that was rare. They turned dead bodies into ashes and ashes into artificial diamonds. It took time and money but fortunately, she had both.

"Yes, I'm sure. My father wanted to be turned into something eternal and beautiful that my sisters and I would keep with us forever." Katherine replied, lying through her teeth.

"How many diamonds do you need?" He asked her.

"5... I need five of them." She replied with a mysterious smile before she gave the man her phone number, compelled him to keep her secret to the death and left.

I assure you that the ashes into diamond thing is real, I did read an article about it and saw it on the news several times.

Some of you assumed I would bring Mickeal back... Come on, would I do something that obvious and easy? It would be a bit repetitive dead villain always coming back to life...
