Life went on for the next couple of days for Rachel and the other bracelet owners and everyone could see that they grew more tired every day without being able to mention it to anyone else until, after only 3 days of wearing it, they all collapsed, at the same time, in different places, with different people present and while doing different things.

Caroline had been in a deep conversation with her mother about the future and what she would do after high school. Liz had been afraid to see her daughter leave and never come back but Caroline had reassured her, saying that she was planning on going to college and get some kind of degree when, all of the sudden, her eyes rolled into the back of her head and she collapsed on her mother's kitchen floor, sending the cellphone she had in her hand flying against the fridge. Liz had never been so worried in her life. Not even when caroline had gotten the flu back when she was a tiny baby.
Who did you call when your vampire daughter collapsed for no apparent reason?

Rachel had been singing in her room, with the door open so her father, who was reading a book downstairs, could hear her and tell her what he thought about her voice. She didn't know why she wasn't capable of singing as high and as long as she usually did but she had decided that she simply had gotten lazy and that she needed to work on it. She was practicing singing My Man when, suddenly, she stopped, her eyes rolling in the back of her head before she dropped on the floor, bringing his father upstairs in super speed, worrying. The fake mic that she used was sent rolling under her bed while Daùon took his daughter in his arms.

Santana had been at the Lockwood's, enjoying a nice afternoon with her boyfriend and his family. Richard was telling them how he had, back when he was in college, convinced a girl that he was a famous super star in hiding when Santana's eyes rolled in the back of the head and she collapsed, dropping to the side on Tyler's knees who, at first thought that she was just showing in a funny way how boring the story was before he realised that something was truly wrong with her.

Rebekah had been at home, arguing with Kol about vanity in front of Elijah, who was supposed to play peacemaker while Klaus was drawing Rachel again somewhere in the house. Kol had just told Rebekah that she was, for sure, the one who was the most vain in their family, perhaps in the entire town when, instead of replying, her eyes rolled in the back of her head and she dropped on the fancy carpet that Elijah had once bought from a Sultan, her blond hair like a halo behind her head.

Sage had been with Finn, walking calmly in Klaus' back yard.
Ever since the disappearance of Mickeal's body, they hadn't dared going too far away from the family home from fear of something happening when they were needed. Also, for some reason, Sage coudln't bring herself to go away from Rachel for now, she needed her niece close to her. Finn had just asked Sage if she wanted for them to have a modern wedding with Rachel and everyone present instead of their secret one a thousand years ago when her eyes rolled in the back of her head and she dropped on Klaus' favourite rose bushes, sending petals flying everywhere.
Liz was scared out of her mind.
What happened? She couldn't see any place where Caroline could have been injected vervain and she looked paler than usual, even under her makeup. If it wasn't vervain then what...Did someone poisoned her?
Liz decided to call Damon but the signal was busy. She decided to take her daughter to the oldest family of vampires in town, maybe Klaus or one of his brothers would have seen this before and would know what to do.

Damon was lost.
He had been listening to Rachel sing until she stopped in the middle of one of her most favorite verses and dropped. Of course he had rushed upstairs faster than ever but apparently he had still been too late.
He had seen his daughter sick in the past of course but this was new... She was a vampire now, she wasn't supposed to get sick, she was supposed to be strong and full of life... He thought that his days of sitting by her bed worrying were gone...
As he laid her on her bed, he realised that under her makeup, she looked as pale as death... He took his phone out and tried to call Klaus, thinking that he might have seen this before but the hybrid didn't answer. Maybe it was a special virus... Maybe it was a spell... Damon didn't want to guess anything anymore so he took Rachel in his arms and put her in the car. He would drive her to Klaus' house and pray, for the first time in a long time, that everything would end up okay for his baby.
Since Stefan was supposed to come over soon he left a note on the door saying that something was wrong with Rachel and that they went to the Mickealson's for help.

Tyler was worried and didn't know what to do.
His mother is the one who suggested taking Santana to Damon. Maybe he had seen something like this before. His father suggested going to Klaus' instead. Tyler took Santana in his arms and as he carried her to his car, he realised that under her makeup, she looked much paler than he was used to seeing her. He decided to call Damon and go to Klaus' house but the elder Salvatore never answered his phone so Tyler left him a message and was on his way.
He didn't want to lose Santana, he couldn't lose her. He also tried calling Rachel but she didn't answer her phone either.
Something was going on and Tyler feared that Santana wasn't the only one in trouble.

Kol had first thought that Rebekah was pretending to faint so she didn't have to reply to his argument but when she didn't get up, both him and Elijah hurried to her, trying to wake her up only to see just how pale she was. They had never seen anything like this and they didn't know what to do. Just as Elijah called for Finn and Klaus, they heard Finn calling for them. Sage had, too, fainted.

Finn tried to wake Sage up but he couldn't do it. He looked up when he heard rushed footsteps and realised that Klaus must have seen everything from the window when he drew and he had rushed to them. He was wondering what happened and, unfortunately, he had never seen this before in his life.
Finn yelled for Kol and Elijah to come just as they called for him and Klaus.
Rebekah had fainted too.
Somewhere in the back of his mind, Finn thought that this was what they had been waiting for, hoping to be prepared, ever since Mickeal's body was taken. Someone was somehow using him to hurt Sage and Rebekah. Finn was sure that it was all linked.

Finn had carried Sage on a sofa that Kol had carried in the library while Elijah installed Rebekah on the couch that was already in the same room. Suddenly, their front door burst open and they rushed to see who had dared break in at such a time when Damon appeared in front of them with an unconscious Rachel in his arms and a distressed look on his face. Klaus rushed to him and showed him to the library, where Sage and Rebekah already were and where Kol was pushing the couch from the living room so Rachel could lay on it.
They were all talking at the same time, telling the same events of three different girls when two cars stopped in front of the big house at the same time. Elijah and Kol went to see who it was when they saw Liz Forbes trying to take her unconscious daughter out of her car and Tyler getting Santana out. While Elijah found 2 mattresses to put the girls on in the Library, along with the others, Kol helped Liz carry her daughter in.
After everyone talked, it was obvious that the exact same thing had happened but they didn't know what, how or why.
None of them had ever seen anything like this before in their lives.
"Maybe we should call Meredith... She's a doctor, she might have an idea of what to do..." Liz suggested.
"We could also call Sheila... She'll do anything for Rachel." Damon said, taking his phone out while Liz was already trying to convince Doctor Fell to drop everything she was doing and to come at the Original's house with all the medical equipment she could.
"Meredith...bring whatever you need to analyse blood." Liz suggested before she hung up.
"Sheila is out of town with Abby, bonding after being appart for so long. They're shopping for special herbs. Sheila said that they'd drop everything and be on their way... But they won't arrived before a couple of hours." Damon replied.
The library was a very wide room and now that everyone was there, they took out all the furniture to replace it with 5 single beds. They started by washing the girl's faces and it was obvious that they had all used a lot of cover up to hide their paleness. It was scary how pale they looked. They looked as if they were already dead.
"I have a very bad feeling about this." Klaus whispered as he caressed Rachel's cheek and kept one of her hands in his.
