Once Rachel left the Bennett's house with everyone else, Sheila rushed to the phone to call for an ambulance while Abby went to try and use magic on her daughter to save her. She found out that Rachel had done things well and she couldn't do anything. What little magic she had used created boils on her daughter's skin.
Both Elena and Bonnie were badly bruised and bleeding heavily. Jenna and Jeremy were both furious at Elena but she was still their family and they didn't want her to die so they rushed to her and applied pressure on her wounds while Alaric called Liz Forbes so she could find a reason behind what happened to cover up. Maybe they would be able to link this to the short storm that happened earlier and say that it was a mini tornado or something like that.
The two girls were put in separate ambulances and if they were brought to the same hospital, their families gave instruction so they never were in the same room. While Bonnie and Elena were in surgery, their families were together in the waiting room.
Everything was silent, everyone was tensed. Nobody spoke or moved.
They understood why Rachel had done what she had done and they weren't really mad at her. Sadness could do a lot to someone and Bonnie and Elena did go way too far this time. They were mad at the girls undergoing surgery and thinking of ways to punish them if they ever survived the operations they were going through.
"I warned Doctor Fell not to use vampire blood on them. We never know with magic... It might simply not do anything but it might become a poison or something...I mean after what Abby's magic did on Bonnie..." Alaric explained when he came back with coffees for everyone.
"Thank you." Sheila and Abby nodded.
"I don't know where I've failed... I'm a bad guardian... I've failed my sister..." Jenna cried.
"Of course not Aunt Jenna, Elena was simply manipulated by Katherine... She was already manipulative on her own... It's not your fault, I'm sure it would have happened the same way with mom and dad. You have nothing to do with this." Jeremy tried to reassure her.
He hated that Elena made their Aunt feel like this. Jenna was a great aunt and a great guardian, Elena had no right making her feel this way.
.
As soon as she got back to Klaus' house, Rachel fell on her knee in tears and cried, unable to move or do anything else.
It was like her life force had left her, like she had no more energy, no will to do anything but cry.
Everyone was sad of course but they were all used to dealing with death and loss. As vampires they had all lost people they cared about and none of them had ever lost a soul mate before except Sage, and it was nothing like this since she could still feel him. They all felt for Rachel and they feared that she would end up turning off her emotions.
Santana and Rebekah carried Rachel in Klaus' room and stayed with her in hope she would rest for a while after Damon asked them to. Tyler moved to follow them but one look from Damon stopped him. Now wasn't the time to get involved in anything with Rachel, he would only get Santana mad at him even more and it would make things harder on everybody.
During that time, Elijah and Kol decided to go and look for Katherine in one of the closest active Volcano. Sage and Finn agreed and picked another one. Tyler decided to pick another one with a group of hybrids and they sent the other group to another one. Damon and Stefan followed their lead and went to check out another one, knowing that Rebekah and Santana had heard them and would keep Rachel safe. They would also keep her emotions turned on, which was their main goal.
On the way, they called Liz and asked her to put a message out to all the cops she could so they could know if Katherine was seen. The womanw as already busy covering up for Bonnie and Elena's accident but agreed and got to it right away.
"Are you sure we stand a chance at finding him?" Stefan asked his brother after they took the road.
They had all made sure that they had each other's cell phone numbers so that the first one who found Katherine could call the others.
"We have to... If we don't... Not finding him is not an option, I won't do that to my daughter." Damon replied.
.
Rachel woke up in what she instinctively knew was Klaus room, even if she had never been there with him before. She could smell him all around and a giant beautiful portrait of her decorated one of the walls. She knew that he had done it himself and it made her cry some more to know what a big place she had in his room. She got out of the bed and walked to his dresser to pick one of his shirts to wear, needing to have his scent near her. She opened the door to find that his dressing room was bigger than hers but that half of it was empty.
"What the..." She whispered.
"He kept half of it clear for you. He said he wanted to be ready the minute you decided to move in with him. He cleared half of it for you." Rebekah explained from the door.
"I miss him... There's this hole in my heart where I used to feel him... I'm empty now... It's like I can't do anything anymore... I don't even care about NYADA or Broadway..." Rachel replied, crying again.
"It will get better... Now come on, you need to eat." Rebekah said as she pulled Rachel in her arms and out of the bedroom.
"I'm not hungry." Rachel replied.
"Then you can drink a bit of blood." Rebekah insisted.
"I don't want any..." Rachel protested in a voice that was barely a whisper.
"Klaus wouldn't want you to waste away Rachel..." Santana told her as they reached downstairs.
"Then he can come and say it to my face." Rachel replied before she asked:
"Where is everyone anyway?"
They knew that it was pointless to hide anything from her so they told her the truth.
"They went to find Katherine before she reached whatever volcano she chose." Santana replied.
"They're wasting their time. Katherine is ready for everything and anything. She's always had a plan B, C... Hell, she's always had an entire alphabet of plans ready... She's not going to let her guard down now. We've lost... If there was hope for Klaus I would feel it in my heart but all I feel is a gigantic hole the size of the planet burning my soul slowly. He's gone forever, the spirits would have given me a sign if there was hope but they didn't. We've lost... I've lost. He's gone and we have to spend forever without him." Rachel told them while crying before she turned around and went back to lie on her dead love's bed.
Santana and Rebekah wanted to go after her and comfort her but they decided that it would be better to let her be for a while.
"Don't worry Bekah, they'll find Klaus in time. Katherine won't get to win this time." Santana reassured her friend.
"I hope you're right... now come on, we better watch over her...just in case." Rebekah replied, trying to hide her own worry.
They stood in the doorway of Klaus bedroom for a while, watching as Rachel cried, curled up on the bed, hugging Klaus' favorite pillow close to her heart. The sight in front of them was heartbreaking and they didn't know what to do or what to say so they simply stood silently.
What did you think? Will they find him or are they really wasting their time?
Most of you thought that rachel was justified in her actions against Elena and Bonnei but a few of you thought that she went too far... Well, I think she could have gone further...
