Katherine was tired of running, even on the other side there was always someone trying to find her to torment her. Maybe she should have acted differently during her vampire life, she hadn't realised how many enemies she had created for herself... They were everywhere.

So here she was, running in an unknown direction that led God knows where, when suddenly her followers got pushed back and, looking scared at something behind her, ran away. She turned around and found herself face to face with a young looking witch. She could feel the power rolling off of her though and decided to try and make a friend out of her because whoever she was, she was very old.

"Thank you." Katherine said, truly grateful.

"You're welcome. My name is Qetsiyah. We need to talk, I think I can help you get something you want...As long as you help me get what I want." The witch told her, looking calculating and manipulative.

Katherine knew that whatever this plan was, she wanted in on it. She could sense power and she knew there was a lot she could gain from helping this witch. Maybe she would even be able to come back to life or to move on and go to heaven... She felt that she would be able to get peace with this witch's help.

Klaus and Rachel had been in his bedroom for over 30 hours.

They talked, they kissed, they ate and they slept. They were now fully rested and as strong as they were before anything happened and they took turn showering and dressing (Rebekah had brought some clothes for Rachel) so they could talk with everyone and prepare for the day's celebration.

It was only 10am when they got downstairs and the party was prepared for the night so they had plenty of time to thank the people who had supported them and, for Rachel, apologise to the people she had hurt while she was mad.

Indeed, Rachel had been hit by her conscience and wanted to apologise to Elena and Bonnie and to take the curse off them but everyone convinced her that they had deserved it and that she should wait a while longer before she took any curse off of them.

Rachel still went to see Sheila and the old witch forgave Rachel, understanding her motive of the moment. Abby even apologised for her part in it and assured the vampire witch that she was moving along with Bonnie and her father in another town, about 20 minutes from Mystic Fall's.

"At least let me pay you for the door and the window..." Rachel insisted after Abby left.

"Don't worry about it Rachel, the insurance paid for it all and your father made sure it was fixed quickly. You have nothing to feel sorry for, I mean, Bonnie did take part in a murder that wasn't, no matter what she says, justified. You need to stop feeling bad about what you did... We all let our anger take over our powers at some point... When it happened to me I castrated the guy that cheated on me... The poor man still thinks that it simply fell off during the night..."Sheila confessed to the guilt filled girl.

Rachel let herself be convinced and left Sheila an hour later.

After leaving Sheila Bennett's house, Rachel went to the Gilbert's house where Jenna and Jeremy also forgave her for her anger and where Elena glared at her the entire time and accused her of pushing Stefan to be with Caroline. Rachel was hurt by those accusations and left, deciding that there would be no more chances for Elena after all.

Rachel knew very well that Stefan was happier with Caroline and that they would both be much happier together than he would have ever been with Elena. She couldn't feel bad for this, especially since she didn't think she had anything to do with it. Who knew, maybe Elena would go back to dating Matt and be happy with him.

After her little apology tour, Rachel went home and took the time to spend some time with her father. They hadn't done it in a while and she knew that they needed to talk.

"I'm glad you're feeling better Rachel... I was so worried for you..." Damon told her after she went to hug him.

"I'm sorry...I...I didn't know how to deal with everything...Losing him...it was too hard..." She tried to explain.

"Don't worry princess, I completely understand. You lost your soul mate...I'm just glad it's over and that Klaus is back... I... You have to know... I'm sorry that I didn't stay with you but... It hurt so much to see you like this...I wanted to do something to make you better and I figured catching the bitch would help better than standing by your side... I'm sorry I wasn't there for you... I was afraid of saying the wrong things, of not being enough..." Damon confessed to his daughter.

"Don't worry daddy, I understand completely. It's not like I listened to Santana and Rebekah anyway... I just...shut everything away... I don't think that there's anything more you could have done for me." Rachel replied as her father hugged her closer.

"It's such a shame that you can only die once though... I would have loved to kill the bitch myself but Elijah got his hand around her heart first and he pulled it out before I could behead her." Damon added, making Rachel chuckle.

"Well, I'm glad she's finally gone... She deserves it after everything she's done to everyone..." Rachel added before she pulled away from her father and went to get ready for the party.

Damon felt relieved that Rachel understood his reasons for not staying with her and he reminded himself that he needed to thank Rebekah properly for staying with Rachel for him. He had already thanked Santana but she brushed it off, saying that it was the least she could do before she went to her room, upset because of Tyler, again.

So, what is Qetsiyah planning to do with Katherine? What will happen at the party?
