Once Damon and Rebekah were fully healed, they left the bedroom and joined everyone else in the living room of the Mickealson's house. If they were happy to be alive and to be able to see their loved ones again, they were also very angry and wanted to see Shane dead or in a cage...or both.
"Thank God you're both better!" Rachel exclaimed while running to hug her father.
"I'm fine Princess, don't worry." He reassured her but as soon as she let go of him, Santana was the one hugging the air out of him.
Damon was by far a better father figure to her than her real father had ever been and Santana had been just as worried as Rachel. She knew that he loved her as a daughter too and she couldn't even imagine loosing him.
"Well, I guess you two were afraid for me... Don't worry girls, I'm fine. We're both fine. I'm not going anywhere." Damon reassured them.
"How many people died in the explosion?" Rebekah asked.
"12 died in the shop, 2 on the sidewalk and a little over 10 people were injured." Elijah replied.
"So we're good. I mean, if there are more than 12 human death then it doesn't count for the sacrifice right?" Rebekah asked.
"I'm afraid it doesn't work that way Bekah... There were 12 deaths in the same location...The first sacrifice is complete..." Rachel replied sadly.
"Are you sure?" Damon asked her.
"I asked the spirits while you healed... They're angry because it's complete." Rachel nodded fatally.
"Well, that just sucks." Damon sighted.
"There's something else... I didn't say anything earlier but..." Santana started and looked down when everyone looked at her.
"What is it?" Kol asked her kindly.
"There's a werewolf in town, a girl named Hailey. She cornered me this morning while Tyler was trying to talk me into break up sex..."
"What did you tell him?" Kol asked her.
"Not the right time Kol." Elijah shook his head.
"Right, well, she tried to convince us that we needed to break our sire bond to Klaus, that it wasn't right for him to keep it in place..." Santana explained, trying to ignore the fact that Kol was afraid she was going back to Tyler.
"It's not like I use it or anything... Who does she think she is?" Klaus argued.
"That's what I told her. She tried to win over Tyler by telling him that Klaus had stolen Rachel away, that by breaking his sire bond he'd be stronger and more capable of getting her back..." She added.
"That's completely crazy! I would never, under any circumstances..." Rachel protested.
"I know, even Tyler didn't buy it... Anyway, she tried every argument she had and when she saw that there was nothing she could do to convince us she left. I think she wanted us to be the demon sacrifice." Santana finished.
"Where is she now?" Elijah asked.
"I don't know, Tyler wanted to go after her and try to get her on our side... We got into an argument because I told him the only reason he wanted to get her to change side was because he thought she was hot and that it was pointless. I might have added that if he still loved Rachel he wouldn't fraternize with someone who was trying to kill people she loved. He left angry but I don't know if he went to find her or anything..." Santana explained.
"If he still loved her?" Klaus growled.
"Calm down brother, it's obvious that Tyler still has feelings for Rachel, it's perfectly understandable. Right now we need to concentrate on finding this Hailey and locking her up so she can't help Shane." Elijah intervened.
Klaus didn't say anything but he watched Elijah carefully. His big brother acted differently ever since they came back from Chicago. If he seemed to be free of the Doppelgangers, he also tried to spend more time with Rachel. At first he had figured it was simply to be friendly, to try and get closer to her since he was the only one in the Mickealson family that she wasn't very friendly with but now he wondered, was it possible that his big brother fell in love with the only girl made for him? Would he end up losing Rachel? Shaking his head, he knew that he couldn't think this way. Rachel loved him and him only.
He was being silly, she wouldn't forget him for Elijah, no matter Elijah's feelings.
.
Shane hadn't been happy with his meeting with Rachel Salvatore but he was thankful for his backup plan. Bonnie Bennett was so full of anger and rage that she was the perfect candidate for what he needed to do. It didn't take him long to convince her that he was doing the right thing, all he had to do was tell her that Silas would have the power to vanquish Rachel and Klaus.
He had found her while she was home alone, her parents at work and her grandmother held back at the university. She was easy to convince and soon, he was teaching her the basis of expressionism. Of course he told her that all the people he had killed in the first sacrifice would come back. Who cared if he lied to her? She wouldn't be able to see that he had told her a lie later anyway because she needed to die in order to wake Silas.
Now that he thought about it, Bonnie was better for it than Rachel, even if she wasn't as powerful. She was young, stupid and eager to prove herself. She couldn't wait to show everyone that she was capable of being great and to get revenge on Rachel. Shane could make her do absolutely everything he wanted. He felt like her puppet master and was pretty happy about it. He didn't know he would feel so much satisfaction out of this.
The best part was that since Bonnie had moved away from Mystic Fall's and couldn't see her old friends, Rachel would have no way of finding this out and he would be unstoppable.
He felt like he had already won and the feeling was a great one.
-Now a little something that can be placed anywhere to celebrate the ONE year of this story-
It starts with M RATED PART before it goes back to the normal rating!
Rachel was in a very pretty knee long red satin dress, her hair were free and hanging beautifully around her face. She wore around her neck the first necklace that Klaus had ever given her, along with earrings and bracelets he had also given her. She was standing in Klaus' bedroom, in front of him and he had just informed her that there was nobody else in the house.
He slowly walked toward her and he reminded her of a predator in the way he walked and the way his eyes shone with desire. Thankfully he also managed to look at her gently and lovingly, like she was the only one in his world, which she knew that she was, just like he was the only on in hers. Especially at that moment when there was only them and nobody else.
When his right hand rose to hold her waist gently and possessively, she felt warm chills run all over her. It was comforting and she couldn't wait for more. She needed more, she wanted more and she was happy to know that it was coming.
"I'll be gentle Love." He promised her softly, looking her in the eyes.
"I know. I trust you. I love you." She replied, her eyes not leaving his as he brought his second hand on her neck to kiss her better.
This kiss was passionate and even hotted than the ones they had shared previously. He pressed himself against her like his life depended on it and she did the same, needing to feel more of him already. The hand he had against her neck slowly went down to her lower back and he held her closer to him while he used his other hand to caress the skin of her legs, under her dress.
It felt hot and so good that she couldn't think anymore, all she could do was sight and moan. She could already feel him fully grown against her lower half and anticipation was sweet.
He never stopped kissing her, it was like he wanted to reach and kiss every inch of her skin and she wasn't complaining because his soft lips were giving her jolts of pleasure all over. At some point, he unzipped her dress and she found herself in her black silk lingerie in front of him.
She didn't need to say anything, he took off his shirt and his pants on his own, his eyes still warmly locked on hers.
They were only a couple of inches apart but the separation was too much, the few seconds they had been apart had been too long already and she rushed back in his arms and as close to him as she could. Her lips crashed on his and her legs wrapped themselves around him tightly.
His hard member was pressing against her panties and she knew they would be gone soon. She knew that IT was about to happen, finally.
All the while kissing her, he ripped his boxers off and her panties came soon after. His hand was slowly moving closer to her dripping and aching for him zone.
It was coming she knew it and she loved it already.
...
"RACHEL, time to get up or you'll be late!" Santana's voice rang through the room, waking Rachel up from her sweet dream and leaving her frustrated, once more.
Maybe this was a sign, maybe she needed to finally give Klaus a sign that she was ready to move further... She was ready for IT and needed to find a good way to let him know before she drove herself crazy with need for him.
"Ah... Another one of those dreams I see... Sorry I had to wake you up." Santana apologized sincerely (but with a smirk firmly placed on her face) to the frustrated young woman.
"Remember when I said I'd wait until I turn 25 to have sex?" Rachel asked her sister.
"I remember not believing you and laughing." She replied.
"Well, you were right. I was an idiot. I won't wait much longer." The witch vampire declared.
"I'm sure your father will love to hear that." Santana smiled.
"It would be kind of hypocritical of him to discuss it... He did say that he had his first sexual experience back when he was 14... With a 15 years old maid." Rachel chuckled.
"I know, but he's still a father who'd love for his daughter to remain innocent until she turns 500. He's into the whole 'Do as I say, not as I do' thing." Santana replied.
"True... Well, anyway, thanks for waking me up... I think I would have slept several more hours had I been given the chance." Rachel replied as she got out of her bed and headed for the shower.
As the water ran on her, Rachel thought about her dreams some more.
Klaus... She loved him so much and she loved being with him so much... He made sure she knew just how loved she was every second they passed together and she wished she could spend more time with him. More and more, every time she went to bed at night, she wished he actually was by her side, even if it were to snuggle. Back when they had shared a bed, after he was nearly killed, it had been a great feeling to be in his arms all the time and ever since that day, it was painful to be away from him for too long and she knew that he felt it too.
Should she talk to her father about her decision to go further with Klaus? She knew that she definitely should talk about it to Sage, Santana and Rebekah but wouldn't her father be hurt if she didn't talk to him about it too? How did one talk to her father about this? How could she bring it up?
Since it's a special occasion, here is a little something more. This time it's a little Rachel/Damon scene from the past.
I hope you liked it.
Rachel was 6 and her father had taken her to a walk in the woods to enjoy the pretty warm weather and the shining sun. He had packed a picnic so they would be able to stay longer in the woods. Rachel had been the one asking if they could take a walk in the woods and Damon knew the look in his daughter's eyes. She had a plan and he was sure that she had been thinking a lot about it. He didn't want to call her out on it so he simply let it go and let her lead things the way she wanted to. When she managed to get what she had planed, she would be very happy and he knew that the smile she'd show then would be worth everything.
Plus, he couldn't help the pride that swelled in his chest every time his little girl showed him how smart she really was.
"It's so pretty daddy... Do you think we'll see Bambi?" She asked him.
"I don't know princess, maybe if we're really quiet..." He replied with a smile, her little hand safely in his bigger one.
"And will we see some Chipmunks?"
"Maybe, but they won't talk to us, they'll be too scared." Damon smiled.
He knew that she could go on like this for hours.
"Now, what animals would you like the most to see?" He asked her after a few more questions on her part.
"A unicorn! Daddy, if we find a unicorn, do you think I could keep it?" She asked, her big brown innocent eyes shining his way.
"I... Honey, you know that Unicorns aren't real, they're legendary." He replied.
"But you're a vampire and people think they're not real but you're real..." She protested.
"Rachel Honey, you don't see fairy tales with vampires in them and Unicorns are in fairy tales, not horror stories." He tried to explain.
"But I'm half witch and witches are in fairy tales so fairy tales are real so unicorns are real too!" She exclaimed happily.
She liked it when she managed to prove to her father that she was right. She knew that he was always proud of her when she showed how smart she really was.
"Well, I've never seen one before..." He tried not to crush her hopes but he didn't want her to have hopeless dreams either.
"Oh but unicorns are magical, they can hide if they don't want you to see them! They disguise themselves like horses or become invisible." Rachel assured him, nodding her head.
"Well, tell you what: if we find a unicorn, I'll let you ride it and we'll come and see it again often."
"Why can't we take it back home with us? I'm sure uncle Zack would love to ride it too." Rachel asked him innocently.
"Because it's wrong to take a wild animal, a free animal, and to turn it into a domesticated one. If we do find a Unicorn, we'll need to let it be free." He kneeled in front of her to explain.
"Okay... But what if we don't find a unicorn? What if they're afraid of vampires?" She asked, her eyes opened widely.
"Well, then we'll just keep on looking." He smiled.
He knew where this was going. Her birthday was coming up and he knew she wanted a pony. He could see her plan already: asking for a unicorn and when he couldn't give it to her, pretend to settle for a pony. He decided to ask like he hadn't noticed her little plan and to give her what she wanted. After all, she had put a lot of thoughts into this and she deserved a reward for it.
"But I really wanted to invite the unicorn to my birthday..." She replied, looking down sadly.
"Well, how about this: if we don't find a unicorn in the woods today, then I'll get a pony and dress him up like a unicorn and we'll invite him to your birthday. What do you say Princess?" He asked her with a soft smile, knowing she'd be happy to see that her plan had worked.
"I love you daddy!" She exclaimed, jumping in his arms.
"I love you too Princess, always. Now come on, let's look some more before we get some lunch." He told her.
Damon couldn't believe his luck. He hadn't been that good of a man before he had Rachel and he didn't know what he had done to make him deserve such joy and happiness but now he couldn't bring himself to regret anything in his life, simply because it had led him to this moment, to his daughter, the person her loved the most in this world, even more than himself.
I hope you enjoyed the little "something extra" I added in the end. It's not really part of the important story line, just scenes I added for you, to celebrate this story's anniversary!.
How about, since it's a very special occasion, every single person who reads this chapter leaves a review for once? Just this once, even if it's only a word, I'd like for EVERYONE to leave something behind, to let me know what you think of this story.
Did you like the add ups? So far, which part of this ONE YEAR OLD story do you like the most? What would you like to see happening next? How should it end?
