As soon as the man looking like Stefan fell on the floor dead, Rachel felt that she didn't need to use her powers to keep Klaus' visions away anymore and she released him, allowing her to rest a bit. She was using a lot of magic and she knew that it couldn't be good for her.

"Wait, something else's happening." Rebekah whispered urgently, pointing to the cave.

Rachel nodded and kept the invisibility spell in place.

.

Qetsiyah appeared in front of Katherine in an antique yet elegant dress:

"Thank you." She said smirking, which should have raised Katherine's suspicions.

"You're welcome... Now if you don't mind, I need to convince a vampire to turn me back." Katherine smiled, turning toward the way out.

"You can't. Vampire blood is poison to you now." The witch warned her with a smirk on her face.

She was obviously enjoying torturing her.

"What?" Katherine asked, shock evident on her face.

"I promised to bring you back to life Katherine, nothing else. You're alive and you'll pay for your previous sins. For each sin you did in your previous lives, both human and vampire, you'll be punished by a disease... You won't live long... You'll be sick, your hair will turn grey before you lose them, your heart will fail you... Well, you know what I mean right?" Qetsiyah was smirking happily and she ignored the doppelganger's dumbfounded expression.

"Why you little..." Katherine started but was cut off:

"Now, don't insult the powerful witch who could give you even more pain than you already have. Enjoy those few weeks you have left. If nobody kills you before then that is." Qetsiyah said before she faded out, going back to the other side.

.

As soon as Qetsiyah left, Rachel lifted the invisibility spell and enjoyed greatly the look of complete fear on Katherine's face. It was so enjoyable that she almost forgot that she was exhausted from all the magic she had used. Klaus must have felt it because he put his arm around her waist and kept her up, against him.

Stefan however couldn't enjoy Katherine's demise, he was too busy thinking about the fact that he was Silas's doppelganger and he knew that Caroline was thinking about it too. They both wondered what it meant and Caroline could only think that maybe Stefan was meant to be with Elena after all.

"I...please... I didn't mean to hurt you all." Katherine begged.

"Liar, liar pants on fire, Kathy." Damon smirked.

"I don't want to die again, please... It's horrible on the other side..." She protested.

"You only get what you deserve on the other side, Katherine. You shouldn't be surprised about the treatment you got. Surely you're not that delusional about the kind of life you've led... When have you ever done something for someone else, without thinking about yourself?" Rachel replied.

"Why are we even listening to her? Let's kill her and go back home or we'll end up missing graduation. It's my first graduation, I want to be there." Rebekah complained.

"She's right, Katherine has had enough second chances to last her an eternity." Caroline added while Stefan nodded.

"If we spare her she'll eventually find a way to use people we care about to survive and they'll get hurt. Let's get rid of her." Damon nodded.

"Allow me." Elijah said.

"Wait a second, you got to kill her last time. It's not fair that you do it now too! It's my turn!" Damon protested.

"Fine, you go ahead." Elijah granted with a smile.

"Please, no..." Katherine tried but it was too late, Damon already had his hand around her heart.

After Katherine dropped dead on the floor, they all turned around, leaving all the bodies behind and started to make their way out of the dark cave.

"Rachel, do you know what it means that I look like Silas? Is it something to be worried about?" Her uncle Stefan asked her.

"I'm not sure but I'll try to find out as soon as I get back home, I promise you." Rachel assured him with a smile as Klaus wrapped his arm around her waist, knowing that she was tired from all the magic she had used.

With much calmer minds, they all made their ways back home, happy to know that everything was right again and hoping that their lives would be quiet for the coming months and would give them some rest.

.

Katherine found herself on the other side once more and just like last time, there was people waiting for her. To make things worst, she found herself in the same clothes that she had come to hate. Couldn't they have at least given her a chance to change into more comfortable pants and shoes that didn't have heals so tall? Her pants were so tight and uncomfortable that she just wanted to take them off but in order to do that she'd have something else to wear and she'd have to be able to stop, which wasn't the case since she was running away from a group of tomb vampires who wanted to torture her.

She knew that they could have caught up with her already, they were just trying to torture her, to make her suffer. They wanted her to break, to cry, to stop fighting and to give up but she wasn't going to let them have that. At some point, she knew that they'll get tired of running after her and then she'd be free, to an extend. Sure, she wouldn't be alive, she wouldn't be able to get Stefan back but she'd be able to be at peace.

It didn't cross her mind that she didn't deserve peace and that just for this reason, there would always be people torturing her. She had been a monster of over 500 years and so she was in for over 500 years of misery. Maybe, just maybe, she would be able to be at peace later if she felt remorse, if she was sorry for everything she had done.

Stopping a minute to catch her breath, she looked behind her at the faces that were running after her.

A few tomb vampires. She should have been nicer to them, she shouldn't have sacrificed them all to have her freedom but she didn't regret it, not yet.

A few witches... She had used them to get Klaus on another track and he ended up killing them all for aiding her... She could have come to their defense but she didn't and it was her fault if they were dead.

Random vampires that she had killed over the years or gotten killed to hide her whereabouts.

She realized that she was lucky that humans didn't have access to the other side because she had killed more of them than any supernaturals. She had been a really bad person and maybe she shouldn't have been willing to sacrifice so many people for her own survival... The next 500 years would be very long and to top it all, she'd have to watch Stefan, Damon, Rachel and the Originals be happy without her.

Eternity on the other side was going to be very long.

I hope you liked it.

Should Puck come back in the story? Should I have him go to New York and create a bit of trouble between Klaus and Rachel? Should he simply be friendly? Or do you want him to stay away all together?

Can you review please?
