Rachel was very happy to see that Sage had come back for her graduation and she was grateful for her being in her life but on this particular night, she couldn't help but wish she had her mother present or that her mother was very different.

"What's wrong love?" Klaus asked her.

"It's nothing... I... I just wish I had a mother who actually cared about my life and my accomplishments tonight." She replied.

"I understand...Thankfully you have Sage. I mean, she's been there for you in that way right?" He asked her.

"Yes, she has and I'm super grateful about that but she's been there as an Aunt... It's not the same." Rachel replied.

"I'm sorry. I wish there was something I could do about this..."

"I know, don't worry, I have a feeling that my mood is about to rise up a bit." Rachel replied, pointing to the stage where Santana was whispering to the band who was nodding.

"Hey everyone, so I'm about to sing a song. It's a special message to someone special who keeps on asking me the same question over and over again. So Kol, this is my answer." Santana replied before she took off her dress to reveal a tiny golden top and a very small and tight golden small skirt.

She had a golden band around her forehead that looked like a discreet crown and a few golden bracelets. She looked oriental and beautiful.

"Damn, I hope this isn't a high class rejection." Kol whispered while other people whistled and Tyler looked down in disappointment, knowing he had lost her for good this time.

Rachel recognised the music that the band was playing as Genie in a bottle from Christina Aguilera. Rebekah and Caroline settled themselves as backup. They were wearing full dresses but the dresses matched Santana's sexier outfit.

Santana:

Tyler looked down at that moment. Was she implying that he hadn't been good enough or simply that Kol was finally the one? Either way it hurt him to hear it and he couldn't even bring himself to be mad at Kol or anyone else. It had been his own doing if he lost her, just like he lost Rachel on his own. Maybe he needed to work on himself a little more.

Kol smiled at Santana and did just what she was singing. He smiled at her, licked his lips and blew kisses her way, making her smile in her singing. He hadn't heard this song since the dagger had been pulled out of his body but he couldn't wait to hear what she'd sing next.

Rebekah and Caroline:

"My girl is hot!" Damon exclaimed as he drank a beer with his brother.

"So is mine. She was very excited to do this for Santana." Stefan replied.

Santana and Rebekah:

"Oh, I've got a big impression right here…" Kol whispered so low that only Jeremy, who was standing right next to him could hear.

"I think you're lucky she can't hear you right now or you'd be in trouble and a few step back in the race for her heart." Jeremy chuckled.

"You're right, but I still would love to rub her the right way." Kol nodded with a smirk as he watched Santana being sexy and very tempting on stage.

Caroline:

"I totally would have put a small lamp on the floor with smoke coming out of it." Rachel whispered in Klaus' ear, making him chuckle as he brought her closer to him.

He knew that Rachel was a perfectionist and had she planned a number like this one in advance, she would have done things in a grand way.

Santana:
The music's fading and the lights down low
Just one more dance and then we're good to go

Kol looked more intensely at her, wondering if she truly meant what he thought she meant.

Santana's eyes were definitely on Kol and everyone could see that they were burning with desire. The 'someone' she was singing about was definitely him.

But that don't mean it's gotta be tonight

Kol frowned slightly at this. So she wanted him but wouldn't be with him tonight? Well, he could understand that she'd want to take things slow but it would be hard for him, literally, to keep things platonic the minute he knew she was ready to be his girl.

Elijah looked around the room and was happy for his younger brother Kol and the fact that Santana was finally agreeing to give him the chance he was waiting for. Klaus had Rachel, Rebekah had Damon and Finn had Sage…the only one left was him…Was it wrong of him to start fantasizing on his brother's girl? He definitely needed to find a way to get some release and fast. Maybe, just for once, he should go for the sorority easy girl kind of thing…

Elena watched Caroline as she smiled and was happy on stage, her eyes locked with Stefan and as she looked at him too, she realized that she had never seen him so happy, not when he was with her. Maybe it was time for her to work on herself and to try and be friends with Caroline again.

Caroline:

"So, what are your plans for the summer brother?" Damon asked his brother.

"Caroline wants to stay in town and spend time with her mother while she still can without looking too suspicious so I'm going to stay with her. What about you?" Stefan replied.

"I'm planning on traveling a bit with Rebekah, trying to find the right place to propose to her." Damon whispered to his brother while he kept his eyes on his girlfriend on stage.

"Propose? Wow brother… I'm happy for you. Does Rachel know?" He asked.

"Yes, she does. She is happy too." Damon replied.

Caroline and Rebekah:

In the way Santana looked at Kol as she sang the last line, he understood that she meant it, that she was ready to be with him.

Santana, Caroline and Rebekah:

"You're okay man?" Matt asked Tyler with concern.

"I'm fine, don't worry. I see things a lot clearer now." Tyler smiled at his brother before they both went to grab something to eat.

Everyone clapped and cheered while Santana simply walked down the stage and went to Kol.

"So, wanna dance with me?" She asked him with a flirty smile.

"I'd love to My lady." He replied as he bowed to her and offered her his arm in a very gentlemanly way, all the while looking at her as if he could see her naked.

Kol was happy, he had won his girl and now that he had her, he would do his best not to let her go.
