This Christmas, I bring to you not a chapter, unfortunately, but the utmost sincere of apologies. 'Sorry' doesn't even begin to describe how bad I feel for stating the next sentence, but it needs to be done.

Regrettably, I must put the Kalos Chronicles on hiatus indefinitely. Probably cancel it too.

There are too many reasons to explain why. The sharp spike in work I've gotten by joining council, the fact that I'm moving on to the toughest year of my school life next year, losing two computers and most of the next chapter over and over again...

To summarize, I've lost that creative inspiration and drive to write KC.

Seriously, as an example, last Sunday, I started up my computer, stared at the chapter, typed in four words, then deleted an entire paragraph, before resuming staring at it, until I lost concentration and switched over to helping my online triplet, CrimsonSkyTamer, write her Danganronpa fic.

Needless to say, I thought discretion the better part of valour. Forgive me for having to announce this, but it had to be done, so at least I wouldn't leave you all in the dark.

Do not be mistaken, however. I'm going to leave KC here - I won't ever delete what I consider to be the first serious piece of fanfiction I've ever written. This isn't the last you'll see of me on this site, I can at least promise you that much.

With that, I ask that you not dwell on it too much. It's the holiday season, after all; it's a time to sit back, relax, and spend time with the family. Rest assured, Trixie and I are making the most out of it, and I hope you do too.

I wholeheartedly appreciate everything you all have done; critics, reviewers, guests, friends, even if this is the first time you've stopped by to take a look, you've been the best fans I've ever had, and once again, I'm very sorry that I must leave you hanging. But as Schwarzenegger's said once before...

"I'll be back."

This is SD, signing out. I wish you all a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year's. Cheers!
