Damon and Rebekah went to pay Klaus and Rachel a visit 3 weeks after the first day of school and stayed for the week-end, enjoying some time with their family. Apparently, everything was going great for them and they were both really happy together.

They gave them news from Mystic Fall's too. Alaric had apparently gathered the nerves to ask Jenna to marry him and she had happily said yes.

While Damon and Rebekah were planning their own wedding for spring break, Alaric and Jenna were planning on getting married during the summer. They did consider doing it together but they later decided that a wedding was a private, special, moment that they didn't want to share with anyone. They wanted it to be their own moment and this way they could plan things just the way they wanted it to be, without compromising for the other couple.

They also informed them that Elena was presently playing nice. No plotting against her friends, no trying to break Stefan and Caroline up, no creating fights, no manipulations... She wasn't even complaining about Jeremy's friendship with Kol anymore. She was spending more time with Matt and was trying to mend her friendship with Caroline. It wasn't easy but they had time.

Shortly after Damon and Rebekah left to go back to Mystic Fall's, Sage and Finn left for Asia. They had met with an adoption agency and since the procedure could take a while, they decided to go in Asia and look for some ancient legends before they had to settle down for 20 years.

Elijah was traveling, looking for love, hoping to finally find his happiness too somewhere. Surely the world couldn't be so cruel to make him witness all of his siblings finding love and happiness when he's left to be all alone... He did deserve love too, right? Hopefully, he would find someone nice and good hearted to love him, someone that wouldn't be a doppelganger and that wouldn't use him in any way.

Stefan and Caroline were doing very well too. They were living at the Boarding house and Lexi was living with them, going to classes and living the college life with her friends, all the while getting closer to Tyler, who, just like her, was a bit lonely.

Santana missed Rachel and she didn't like the life she had in College with the others. She wasn't unhappy but she wasn't super happy either and Kol could see it. He was the one who suggested moving to New York and only hearing that suggestion made Santana happier than she had been in a while so they started packing and warned Klaus who assured them that they already had a room ready in the apartment.

Rachel was a bit worried because she hadn't crossed Brody or talked to him in any way since she had confronted him but she decided to brush it off for now. Maybe he had gotten her warning and decided to back off, maybe he had found another girl to use. She wouldn't waste time worrying about this when her best friend, her sister, was moving in with her and needed her help choosing classes she could take to pass the time.

Just like he had planned, Kurt found Brody and confronted him a couple of days after he spotted his conversation with Rachel. He started by introducing himself, then he jumped right into the subject:

"I want to ruin Rachel Salvatore's life and I heard your last conversation with her. I'm not supernatural but I can be very resourceful and I think that we should join our efforts." Kurt told him.

"What makes you think that our goals can be joined?" Brody asked Kurt.

"You want her, one way or another, that's what you told her. Well, as long as she stops going to NYADA, I don't care what you do to her. You can tie her up in your bedroom all day long for all I care. I just want her gone from what's mine to have. That's all I care about." Kurt said and Brody started thinking about what Kurt said...

Rachel tied up to his bed... Yes, he could kidnap her, block her powers with spells, herbs and powder and force her to give him the heirs he wanted. She'd have to fall in love with him eventually... that or she'd be broken and he'd be able to do whatever he wanted with her. As for her vampire side, he could keep it under control with vervain ropes and injections...

"Seems to me like you're full of good ideas... Maybe we should start working together." Brody nodded.

After that, they decided to try and stay away from Rachel for a while, give her some time to forget about everything that she knew about them, giving her time to feel safe again. After the winter holidays, they would accidentally run into her and then they'll be able to do whatever they wanted to her.

For Thanksgiving, Klaus and Rachel went back to Mystic Fall's, along with Kol and Santana. Sage, Finn and Elijah wouldn't be able to make it home but at least they'd be almost all together and they'd have fun with their family.

"Don't you want to spend Thanksgiving with your parents?" Kol asked Santana as they packed their bags.

"No, I don't think so... I don't feel as happy in Lima as I do here. I did invite them to come here to celebrate with us but they refused so...too bad. I'm here and you're with me. Mystic Fall's is where my real family will be, so that's where I'm going." Santana replied.

"I love you." He simply told her.

"I know. I love you too." She said before she kissed him.

So, next chapter is Christmas...then everything is going to go quickly... The end is getting closer.
