"Dude what's going on?" Mikey asked Leo.
"I don't know Mikey." Leo sighed.
"I thought Eclips was going to be happy." Mikey leaned on Leo. "Why isn't she happy?"
"I don't know that ether Mikey." Leo said as he put an arm around his little brother.
"I should have done a background cheek." Donnie mumbled to himself as he typed away on his laptop.
"Donnie don't blame yourself for whatever happed. We don't know she could just be homesick." Raph said.
"If she was homesick she wouldn't want to be mutated, she would just want to be with us." Donnie said. "She was scared and it's my fu- Raph covered Donnie's mouth.
"It's not your fault!" Raph snapped.
Donnie sighed as Raph uncovered his mouth. "I just feel so bad."
"We all do Donnie." Leo said getting up. "You guys stay here, I'm going to talk to Sensei." Leo walked out of the room. Mikey moved closer to Donnie.
"Sensei." Leo walked into the living room and sat beside Splinter. He looked at Eclips as she slept. "Do you know what happened?"
Splinter sighed and handed Leo the diary. "This happened long before we became involved." Leo flicked through the diary.
"She…" Leo closed the diary and handed it back to Splinter. "We sent her back to that."
"No." Splinter pulled Leo close. "It's not anyone's fault. None of us knew of Eclips's past, we did what we thought was right."
"But we were wrong." Leo said quietly.
"Even the wisest of the wise can be wrong." Splinter said.
"Will she stay with us again?" Mikey asked as He, Donnie and Raph stood at the end of the hall.
Splinter smiled. "It is Eclips's choice."
"I want to stay." I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "But I want to see my mother first."
"You can't." Raph said. "The police are after you."
"I know." I sighed. "But I can't let her go through losing her daughter again." I said getting up.
"We're coming with you." Leo said grabbing my wrist.
"No I want to go alone." I said pulling my hand away.
"No, will all with you." Splinter said getting up.
"You don't have to come." I said.
Splinter smiled and run his hand gently over my bruised cheek. "I want to. You are my daughter, I will always watch over you."
I smiled and hugged him.
"Let's go." Leo said leading the way out of the lair
"Mum." I stood at the back door of the house starring at my mother.
"Crystal!" She jumped forward and hugged me tightly. "You shouldn't be here the police are looking for you." She said.
"I know and I'm going but I just need you to know I'm ok." I said.
She let me go and smiled. "I know that, I just wish I could have been there for you."
"Mum its fine, I have a new family." I said.
"Y-you do?"
I nodded. "Mum this may seem weird but I want you to meet them." I said.
"Oh ok." She smiled.
"Please don't freak out." I said as Leo and Splinter walked from around the corner. I look at my mother as her eye's widened as Leo came closer.
"You're a turtle." She reached out and placed her hand on Leo's cheek.
"I'm Leonardo." Leo smiled.
"And I am Splinter." Splinter held out his hand. My mother hesitated but took his hand and shook it.
"They saved me mum. I live with them." I said happily.
"No fair why does Leo get to go?"
"Mikey shut up." Raph whispered.
My mother looked up just as Mikey stumbled backwards into view holding his head. "Raph that hurt!"
"Well shut up next time." Raph stepped forward also into view.
My mother giggled. "More turtles?" Raph and Mikey look over to us.
"Good going knuckle head." Raph growled.
"You seem relaxed?" Leo said as Raph and Mikey walked over. "Most people freak out when they see us."
She smiled. "You have looked after my daughter, for that you've earned my greatest respects." She said.
"Well she is an awesome sister." Mikey laughed.
"Sister?"
"I adopted your daughter after she couldn't remember her past." Splinter said.
I looked at my mother worryingly as tears formed in her eyes. "Thank you." She said. "Thank you for everything. Crystal deserves someone who loves her and by the look of it the four of you are doing that well."
"Actually there are five." I said as Donnie nervously walked around the corner.
"H-Hi." He smiled.
We all stood together in front of my mother. "Mum…
She smiled and placed her hand on my cheek like she did to Leo. "I'm so proud of you." I put my hand on hers and pushed my cheek into her hand more as I began to cry. "Crystal." She pulled me into a hug. "I love you.
"Love you too mum."
