Hi guys! *beam* I've progressed pretty far in my OneTrueMedia tributes, I've got Tsubaki, Blackstar, Soul, Maka, Kid, Liz, Patty, Crona, Spirit, Stein, Marie, and I'm currently working on Justin's. Yeah…it's kinda fun, and hopefully sometime in the near-far future I can get my mom to buy me an upgraded account so I can post them on YouTube, and then I'll share them with you guys. So…FYI, the O key is being weird, so if any words are missing the O, it's because of that.

Earlier, you accused Noah of being arrogant. But he was only trying to save a few. Wouldn't the desire to protect everyone be even more arrogant?

DK's POV:

As soon as we opened our eyes in the new chapter, I knew there was gonna be BIG trouble. Why? I felt completely at home, invigorated, as if the very air was charged with energy that only I could absorb. My very body was humming with the urge to destroy, to spread the taint of this aura as far and as quickly as I could. My pulse throbbed in my skull, the air becoming thick and soupy around my temples as my teeth gleamed in the angry red light, my smile vicious and wide. "DK YOU JERK! WHY THE HELL IS THERE A CHAPTER DEVOTED ENTIRELY TO YOUR POWER!" Akuma roared, jabbing a finger at me as my grin turned slightly sheepish. "Eh, what can I say? Wrath is one of the Seven original Deadly Sins so it's not all that surprising it's in here somewhere." I said with a smug shrug, and Akuma snarled wordlessly as Kid, back to his normal form, rubbed his forehead, muttering to himself as he obviously tried to keep his temper. The world around us was full of angry, sneering faces carved in red rock, lava spurting every which way and the sky above us an equally sullen orange, the sun an angry, glaring red. How original…

Hazel stared at me wordlessly, and I was pleased to notice her soul was ever so slightly calmer than the ones around us, her tolerance of my particular wavelength strengthened by her connection to my soul. "Hey, he's the last one to change back!" she said in shock, pointing to me, and I opened my mouth to answer, but the Index answered first. "As the Demon King so flippantly said before, demons are already greatly in tune with the Seven Sins. They are not greatly affected by the temptations crafted by the Sins, for they themselves are made from those basic elements. Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride, all the things humans are tempted by are what demons construct." he said ponderously, and I shrugged. "I'm pretty sure the right answer was somewhere in that statement." I agreed, and Kid finally snapped. "WE NEED TO MOVE ON ALREADY! IF HAZEL HADN'T GOTTEN LOST THEN WE WOULD'VE BEEN GONE ALREADY, KAGE COULD BE DEAD IF WE DON'T HURRY!"

Akuma gripped his shoulder solidly, warning silence, and I nodded a few times, turning to the Index. "He's right, in a roundabout way. Let's book it, oh master of the obvious." I said, snapping my fingers expectantly at him as he turned away. "Your attempt at a pun lacks in humor, Demon King." he said primly, and I mimed a mouth with my hands, making a face as Hazel giggled and both Akuma and Kid got tick marks. The world tilted, and I pinched my nose, holding my breath as both Hazel and Akuma reached for me at the same time. The page crashed down on us, and I opened my eyes, smelling a nice green-growing smell and seeing a large marble palace in the distance, trees surrounding the cream stone walkway we stood upon.

"So…Index? Which chapter?" I asked, turning to look at the floating robot as Kid smiled slightly, the symmetry of the palace pleasing him, and Akuma yawned absently, stretching a little and rubbing the back of his neck. "Pride. I suggest you keep your egotistical tendencies to a minimum." he said tersely, and I snorted as Hazel blushed beside me and Kid sighed in resigned acknowledgement. "So let's see here, we got Lust, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, and now Pride. What's left again?" I asked, ticking off all the sins we had experienced thus far on my slim, feminine fingers. Akuma cupped his chin, thinking for a moment. "Aw geez…it's been a while since basic training. Sloth and Greed, right?" he said slowly, squinting in thought, and I nodded a few times. "Sounds right. Kid?"

"I'm amazed they expect you to not only memorize your fighting techniques but learn this sort of thing and remember it." Was his input, and I shrugged modestly. "Why do you think they're so good at what they do? They learn this sort of stuff from the cradle, almost literally. Most of the toys they get for teething and playing with are miniature plastic models of various weapons, the poor things." I said with a sad smirk, and Akuma brightened, bopping his palm with a closed fist and grinning. "Oh yeah! I remember that! I had this little stuffed mace that I used to sleep with every night!" he said excitedly, and both Kid and myself raised an eyebrow. Hazel cooed. "Oh that's so sweet! What'd Kage have?" Akuma stroked his chin for a moment, clearly thinking hard. "Um…I think she had a little wooden spear. She named it Wrath."

I choked, covering my mouth with my hands as I tried to hold in the giggles. "I'm touched…I think…" I sniggered, and Akuma gave me a nasty glare. "Oh shove it. We got rid of them when we were five." he snapped, and I chuckled. "Sure, sure." Kid smiled slightly, then frowned. "I would've thought you guys would pick a sword instead of some other weapon." he said in surprise, and Akuma shrugged. "Eh, Mace and Wrath were special. We always loved playing with the swords though." he said fondly, his eyes gleaming with memory as he trailed off into ancient history.

Kage's POV:

I coughed out a fountain of blood, feeling the whirring saw blade cut deeper into my stomach as my entire body vibrated from the stress. "SCREAM YA STUPID GIRL! SHOW ME SOME PAIN! COME ON, YELL! SCREAM! IT HURTS, YA KNOW IT DOES!" Giriko roared, whirling and kicking his foot even harder into my body, making me swing back on the chain and pulley system Arro had strung me up on for the past few days, the one I had witnessed my near-rescue from three days ago. I gasped, black blood splattering my torn tank top and Giriko's jeans, but refused to scream. This- His chains cut into my collar, sending a long spray of blood out to spatter his face. –isn't– He roared with frustration, gripping his chains with one hand and whiplashing me across the face as I temporarily lost the sight in my left eye. –as bad– Blood soaked into my clothing, pooling at my feet in a puddle of inky blackness, staining my bruised skin grey. –as getting beaten up by the Pumpkin King! I thought with a ragged grin, his assault stopping as Noah walked into the room, Arro having been watching the whole performance with a sadistic, mad grin.

"Hasn't done anything more than gasp and growl. 'S a cryin' shame." Giriko grumbled, folding his arms like a sulky child as Arro grinned mirthlessly and Noah frowned just barely. "I dislike the fact you are willfully harming a potential member of my collection. She may be durable but everything has a breaking point." he chided, and Giriko snorted. "Ya kidding? I've been at this since yesterday morning and all I've got to show for it is a bunch of blood and some rips in her clothes." he said in frustration, jabbing a thumb at my bloodied frame. True to his statement, while I was indeed soaked and slathered with my own blood and my clothes were practically in tatters, I was almost completely undamaged, my left eye blurry as it slowly healed from the long cut across my face. Noah perked up slightly as he noticed this. "Ah! Incredible! And you've been attacking her with all you had?"

Giriko cracked his neck slightly, rolling his shoulders. "Been hacking away like a butcher with a butchin' knife." he confessed flatly, and Noah's eyes gleamed with avarice as I mentally winced. "So the stories about Nightstalker regeneration are founded on the truth!" he said in excitement, and Giriko shrugged again, leaning in as he stared at the eye he had blinded. "Looks like it. I remember taking this one out, don't you toots?" He leered at me, and I glared at him irritably. "When I get out of this I am going to paint the walls with your blood." I said with a low growl, and he sneered in return, leaning away as Noah reached down for the book he always seemed to carry at his belt. "Giriko, I want you to put that sadism to good use. The irregularities have advanced to the fifth chapter, I want you to cut them off at the sixth. Destroy them utterly." he ordered as my eyes widened just barely, and I clenched my fists. When I get out of here I am going to rip them limb from limb and then some. I snarled to myself, smirking a little as Gopher, trailing at Noah's side as usual, instantly protested. "Noah-sama, let me go in there and kill them instead!"

Noah spared him an amused glance as he expertly cracked the book to about 4/5ths in. "Giriko needs a chance to exercise his bloodlust before he does manage to damage the Great Old One of Fear. This is more expedient." he told his servant, and the chainsaw grinned as he walked over. "I'm good with that plan, now let's get to the killing." he said as he cracked his knuckles, and Noah gave him a look of slight distaste as the book gleamed with a white light. Giriko dissolved into a stream of dark grey smoke, which was promptly sucked into the book as it snapped shut, leaving me with Psycho One, Psycho Two, and Socio Three. I sighed out loud, hanging my head as I slumped a little in the restraints. Somebody get me out of here…this is getting really hard to stomach…

Yeah, so that's this chapter all wrapped up in a nice little bow. Kage keeps referring to Noah, Gopher, and Arro as different "o-paths" because while they share the same basic… mentality, sociopaths and psychopaths are actually very different. A psychopath knows the difference between right and wrong, and chooses wrong because they feel it's more enjoyable and profiting to themselves. Sociopaths definition of right is what they want and wrong is what anyone else wants, so they don't care what happens to those around them, as long as they get their own personal goals accomplished. Basically, sociopaths have no empathy at all and have little to no emotional ties (Arro), and psychopaths are driven by a specific goal or need and don't care what they have to do or who they have to climb over to get to it (Noah and Gopher). Now that this little psyche lesson is over, make me happy and review. Please! I said please!
