Hey everyone! I'm super sorry for the late update and I gave you guys a nice bigger chapter for it! I've been so busy with school and other stuff as well as a lack of ability to write as much in one sitting as I used to have. So please review (if you want to) and enjoy! (If you are at this chapter I'm assuming you are hehe.)

I have to go back to school next week, my spring break was spent trying to get out this chapter and my schedule is going to be so strained that I don't know how long it is going to take me to bring out another chapter, so please be patient while I get things sorted out. Thanks!

Thanatos and Raven appeared within the throne room. They both held low quality ritual items, the use? To resurrect Trigon.

"Is this everything?" Thanatos asked Raven. She turned around to face him. The demon servant had a bored expression on his face. Hmph, that failed... Looks like I'm going to have to get what I need from other sources.

"No, I'm afraid not," Raven replied, her voice devoid of emotion. She looked glanced at the bag in Thanatos's hands and plopped her own on the ground, why should she have to put these away when there was more work for her. "Thanatos, take care of these please. Then leave me alone. I wish to practice."

She felt vague approval emanating from Thanatos's mind, it seemed that either Trigon or Thanatos himself was pleased. Whatever, she didn't need anyone's approval. There was the scraping of something against stone as Thanatos grabbed the supplies and departed, no doubt storing them in another room of the rebuilt palace.

Raven focused on what her father taught her about her new powers. Apparently with her mind and soul now complete she could manipulate the seven deadly sins, Pride in particular. She wasn't sure how she could make full use of it, but It did help her when they dealt with that high priest a long time ago. It had been so much easier doing things when the mortal was so full of himself he gave all of his supplies away.

Her new powers were interesting, and she supposed her father was good for one thing. That thing being telling her of these new powers in he first place. She sighed and looked around for something to train on. But none of these things are living, one cannot practice pride on something that does not feel! She spent a few minutes pondering over the issue, she had nothing to practice her powers on, she could however find something. Raven would have to go back to Earth though, and it wouldn't be worth it at the moment.

What Raven really should do is seek out the rest of the materials required to the ritual. Although its not as if that was particularly appealing to Raven either, if her plan worked then she would need to be more powerful than she currently was. The demoness spent a few minutes pacing in thought, before finally coming up with an idea. Hmmm, maybe I can kill two birds with one stone! After all, if I can procure the ingredients and practice my powers at the same time I should be set. Raven used her powers to call over Thanatos, the demon came in with a bored expression on his face. He looked like he was about to say something but Raven held up a finger to be quiet and reached out with her mind.

Trigon! I have questions for you my father. She hated addressing her father as just that, her father, but Raven had to keep playing along.

"What is it girl? What do you need to know? It better not have more to do with your powers, I gave you a full explanation of them earlier." Trigon's dark voice jarred her mind. The sheer power his thoughts alone had made the thought of his full resurrection even scarier.

What are the ingredients I need for the ritual, we got the simplest of items. But I am about to go out again to retrieve more... Alone. Raven finished. There was a few dragged out moments where Trigon was in thought. It would have made Raven start fuming with impatience, but she held back the emotion, she wasn't sure why. It wasn't as if she had to worry about out of control powers or really cared if things got destroyed or pitiful things such as 'morality'.

"The first item is angel feathers, can't be something fake. It must be real feathers from a real angel... And take some flame elementals with you, I doubt you have the power to retrieve the item yourself."

Raven bristled slightly with irritance. What did he mean she couldn't handle it herself? She was a demoness! I have my power and the powers I inherited... I'm pretty sure I can face an angel on my own! Trigon chuckled. It wasn't very reassuring either, Raven was sure that Trigon could feel then annoyance coming from her, but he didn't do anything about it.

So are there any angels in particular? I can't imagine a fallen angel or one currently a mortal would be good enough. Raven thought of an angel-turned-mortal she had heard about within the Justice League. Wasn't his name Zauriel or something? Well I'm pretty sure a angel like him wouldn't suffice.

"No they wouldn't it has to be a pure angel that is still blessed with the light, nothing less will work. I'm sure that one way or another you'll be able to retrieve it. Okay, my daughter?" his voice rumbled in a dark tone, one that Raven didn't trust. The demoness just nodded and moved into the ground through a dark portal. Thanatos had observed the whole thing without being in it, and was thoroughly confused.

"Don't worry my servant, Raven is just doing a little task of mine," Trigon whispered slyly.

Raven looked around. The entire world was seemingly spreading outward, curling downwards as she glanced at the horizons. It should have been extremely cold to Raven but she didn't feel any of it, she no longer had to. The pure white snow below her remained untouched as she was still hovering over the ground, not touching it.

Raven had arrived on mount Everest, the tallest mountain on earth. What better way to reach heaven then to go to the highest point on the earth? Well she could have gone to some holy place and tried to summon an angel there, but it would be more troublesome than worthwhile. Raven sighed and spread her arms out on both sides of her. Dark energy flooded through her and she started muttering in demonic tongues.

"Er vege hmph muhjev ez relmwel, hrel iras ez Scath ipaaea o' ep, nje hrel jemal ez relbb. Fel grozx dyah!" Oh great angel, the spawn of Scath summons you, in the name of hell. Be dragged down!

It was the spell that Trigon told her would work for grabbing a holy creature down from the heavens. Raven just hoped that she could later chant spells in Azarathian or English, rather than Demonic. Apparently "Azarath Metrion Zinthos" would weaken a demon rather than strengthen their powers.

Raven finished the spell and stepped back to see her handiwork. A large purple magic circle sliced apart the snow and radiated dark magic. She smiled with pride. It wasn't necessarily something she could have done before the merge. Then the ground started shaking, Raven stepped backwards as blinding light struck the ground. She opened her eyes gingerly and saw an outline of a human. Except this human had beautiful feathered wings and radiated light.

When the light beams faded Raven saw her opponent. A brown haired woman with pure white wings and a pure white sleeveless dress, it was awfully revealing for a holy being. Ironic how so many heavenly beings dress so seductively when they are supposed to be pure and chaste. It makes so sense.

The angel gave a hostile look with her glowing white eyes. "Why did you call me here demon?" she snapped, her voice resembled tinkling bells. The angel walked forward till she was only a couple feet away from Raven. "I see only darkness around you."

"And thats all you'll ever see soon, after I'm done with my task." Raven closed her eyes and focused her magic.

"I do not see darkness in the future, I am Clairvoyance, I see all clearly," she paused, "except you."

"Well than thats too bad." Raven sent out bolts of black magic. They clung to the Angel's body and stunned her. "Sorry Clairvoyance but your not gonna be seeing anything clearly."

The angel gave Raven a look full of fire, but Raven ignored it. The demoness walked over to the angel. As she got closer the angel tried harder to break free, but Raven kept her down by using more and more power.

She leaned down to the angel's face, grinned, and whispered "I'll make sure to treat your feathers carefully as they resurrect Scath... Okay?"

Clairvoyance yelled in defiance and Raven felt burning pain cover her entire body. She was launched back and slammed against a spike of rock. Okay, this wasn't going to be completely easy. Clairvoyance glared at Raven and summoned a flaming sword to her hand with a burst of light. Without saying a word she launched herself at Raven.

The demoness barely had any time to counterattack, she brought up a barrier of magic and deflected the attack. She closed her eyes and focused her magic on a counterattack. Panicked screeching filled Raven's ears. She cracked an eye open and the other flew open in amazement.

Claws of dark magic had reached out of the ground and bound the angel to the ground. Her sword laying plain and useless in a snow drift. Raven smirked and strode to the angel; her short violet hair blowing in the dark wind.

"Hmmm, I think I win... But first..." The angel's eyes widened in horror as Raven picked up the sword and muttered a spell. The sword became alit with black flames instead of the previous normal flames. Raven turned and brought the sword above the angel, certainly the angel didn't have to be alive to collect the feathers right? She grinned and prepared to plunge, but she didn't. Raven just stood there mindlessly. The angel was still bound on the ground by the magic and it would take just one blow to kill it. Raven raised it higher and cocked her head in curiousity. The angel's eyes were still wide and staring at her, but it wasn't in horror, but rather amazement.

"Amazing... I thought I could see only darkness... But there is something still in you! Its faint but it is still there. Clairvoyance sees all!" she murmured and stared at somewhere in Raven's chest.

Raven's eyes nearly leapt out of their sockets. This angel-Clairvoyance, was trying to tell her that she still had something inside of her... Impossible! If there was a spot it was an imperfection, a weakness, and it needed to be expelled.

Raven's cold gray hands let go of the sword and it fell to the ground. She angrily lunged for the angel's feathers but flinched away when the angel started shining brighter.

"tsk, tsk tsk. Sorry demoness, but unless I give my feathers to you willingly I can just self destruct or port out of here. And I would never give them to you... I can't port out either... So may the light accept my sacrifice," said the angel. What? Raven scowled, then her lips lightened into a smile.

Well, here's my chance to test out my powers! Raven closed her eyes and began muttering in demonic. When she opened them she saw a dull look in the angel's eyes. Did it work? It was so easy with the high priest earlier! Didn't this one work? Raven moved forward and winced. The angel's blast did more damage than she thought it would, was this one of the disadvantages of being demon?

Raven blinked and the angel repeated the movement. The angel wasn't acting how the priest did, was it because she was an angel? Then light reentered the angel's eyes and she smirked at Raven.

"What? I'll still self destruct. You might as well just leave because you failed," she said, still smirking.

Raven grinned back, "Oh really? I bet that I can survive it, please oh great angel, all I want is to be able to repent. I was hoping that if I gained some feathers I might be able to cleanse myself," she pleaded.

The angel cocked her head in thought. "Hmm well you are a filthy demon, no one would wanna stick to being one. The light is so much more beautiful anyways! Oh I think I'll give you a couple, come and take them. Your magic is still keeping me bound." The angel's voice rose haughtily till it was high pitched, like a snobby schoolgirl who was excited about something. Raven nodded quickly, she hoped she didn't appear too greedy, it might ruin the ruse.

"Well I am just honored great one! Thank you for helping me come back to the light," Raven said. She gave a curtsy and put an awed and thankful expression on her face as she slid over to the angel. "Thank you so much, Clairvoyance, was it?" The angel nodded. "Thank you!" She grabbed a couple feathers and tugged them off before spinning around and stalking away. The magic-sick angel just layed on the ground, dazed. The magic around the angel was released and she stared off into space.

How was that? I have a feeling that some parts of this chapter was horrible... Thoughts?
