Beast Boy tied up the bag with a frown, wishing with every fiber of his being that he didn't have to do what he was going to try to do in the first place. He sighed and looked around his room. It could possibly be the last time he was going to ever see, depending on how things went. No. He shook his head. I can't think of something like that, it won't happen. I'll find her and bring her back and we can be a family again.

He stretched wearily and smiled in satisfaction as he no longer felt any pain. It had been a few months since he had been stabbed in the chest and left to die by Raven, he was ready to go find her, although the other titans knew nothing of this mission, and he wanted to keep it that way. Beast Boy knew that the other titans wouldn't let him go if they knew what he was going to try to do.

He was going to try to bring Raven back. And he would let nothing stop him. He lifted up his bag and pushed open the rugged window in his room. Cold air blew in the scent of the city, sour and stuffy. He imagined it smelled better than where he was going though.

He prepared to morph when something gently paced itself on his shoulder. Beast Boy spun around in surprise to see Cyborg standing there with his hand on Beast Boy's shoulder and an unreadable emotion on his face.

"Oh Cyborg, I um err… I just needed fresh air! That's all!" Beast Boy said hopefully. Cyborg didn't seem to buy it.

"It's no use Beast Boy; I can tell what you are going to do. Besides, you're a terrible liar. You're going after Raven aren't you?" he inquired. Beast Boy said nothing, he only remained silent. "You know it's going to be dangerous. She already tried to kill you once she will probably try again, except you won't have us as backup."

"I know that Cyborg but…" Beast Boy made a pained sound and continued. "I can't lose her! Nothing is the same without Raven being here… And don't try to deny it either," Beast Boy insisted. He backed away from his cybernetic friend and closer to the window.

Cyborg sighed. They both remembered what had happened in the two months since Raven leaving. Everyone had noticed the deep depression that Beast Boy had fallen into, he never played video games, or cracked jokes, or complained once about Cyborg cooking meat in the kitchen. Not a single prank occurred during the two months either, which strangely enough dismayed them.

"Beast Boy. I know you only just woke up, but I need to know what happened!" Robin snapped. His fists were clenched and his teeth were gritted in pain. Beast Boy knew that him and Raven shared a mental link and close bond due to that… Was something happening right now that stretched across the link?

"I know Robin, and I'm explaining it as best as I can. I'm really confused too! I was stabbed for crying out loud!" Beast Boy crossed his arm, then winced in pain.

"I just can't believe that she turned on you like that. That doesn't sound like our Raven…" Robin muttered. Starfire walked up behind him and offered her hand on his shoulder in comfort.

"Friend Raven has been rather withdrawn recently. We should have been there for her…" The Tamaranean muttered. Beast Boy noticed tears pooling in her eyes and felt sorry for Starfire. She had lost her only female friend on his whole planet.

"You're right Starfire… She has been acting differently. We can't say that we know her, and unfortunately we have to consider her and enemy," Robin said, putting a closed left hand on his right's open palm. The rest of the team stared at him in shock. "She tried to kill Beast Boy and is going to serve Trigon, we have to put aside whatever we felt for her in case we have to fight her sometime."

"But dude! Isn't that a little harsh?" Beast Boy asked. He bared his teeth at Robin. Don't do this Robin! For my sake or everyone else's sake if nothing else! He silently pleaded to the Boy Wonder.

Robin shook his head. "It was Raven's choice… Not ours."

Beast Boy let out a deep growl. "What choice?" He looked Robin dead in the eye. "It's not Raven's fault. Her emotions give her trouble all the time… She's been battling over control of her very own self all of her life! Because she could destroy everything if she didn't." his voice dropped to a whisper. "It's so not fair…"

"Not everything is fair Beast Boy. Besides, if she is losing control so easily… Then something needs to be done about her anyway. I'll contact the other titans about it but I'm sorry Beast Boy, if it comes down to it then Raven needs to be dealt with."

"But… But… Maybe it wasn't her! One of her emotions could have taken over and stabbed me. It wasn't her that did it, I know it wasn't her!" Beast Boy's voice rose to a hysteric tone and the two titans that weren't speaking tensed, waiting for a conflict to break out.

"Hey guys, lets just calm down and talk about this later. We're all still in shock." Cyborg said. He glanced from Robin to Beast Boy and back and swallowed a bit nervously. It was obvious he wasn't sure how to deal with the situation. But then he straightened and spoke again. "Just stop with it for now. It's been a long day."

Robin and Beast Boy continued to glare at each other for a couple of minutes, before turning and without saying a word to their respective friends; Starfire and Cyborg, and walked back to their rooms.

Eventually the issue was cleared up. But the tension still remained for a while after that. Beast Boy wasn't sure that it was cleared up now, and it was two months since the incident happened.

"If I were to tell Robin I'm going do you think he would let me? No he would probably try to stop me even if it involved throwing me in jail himself," the changeling snapped. He folded his arms across his chest and waited for his friend to press harder to dissuade him or take him to Robin.

"Okay, go ahead."

"What?!"

"Go ahead. I won't stop you. We all miss Raven, even Robin. If you think that you can bring her back like normal and forgive her for almost killing you then go ahead. Just don't die while you're gone… Dying is bad for your health I hear." Cyborg smiled.

"I don't doubt it," Beast Boy said with a chuckle in return. "Hey Cyborg?"

Cyborg shot Beast Boy an inquiring look. "What?"

"Are you going to tell them about this conversation…? Or where I've gone?"

Cyborg pondered over the question for a few minutes, minutes that stretched on for a lot longer than what they should have. "No, don't worry about it BB." He let out a quiet dry laugh. "I bet they'll be able to guess anyway. One more thing though, I have an idea of how you'll be able to get there." The cybernetic titan leaned over to Beast Boy's ear and started whispering quietly in his ear.

"Thanks Chrome-Dome."

Cyborg nodded. "Take this." He handed Beast Boy a device, it looked like a radar of some sort. "Robin had me build this to help with the search for Raven, to use if we needed it. But I have a feeling only you will need it."

Beast Boy looked over it for a moment before turning his gaze back to Cyborg, confusion evident. "Um okay thanks, but what does it do?"

"It's a device I created to help find Raven. Use it at that one place I just mentioned and press that purple button there. It should open a portal to the realm of Trigon using the latent demonic energy in that spot. You'll still have to get to wherever Raven is by yourself, so be careful."

Beast Boy stared down at the device. He gave Cyborg a grateful look and put the device into his bag before turning and morphing into a bird. He grabbed the bag and flew out of the window. There was only one place he could do this at, and he would have some trouble getting there if he wasn't careful. But the thought of going back to that creepy place really disturbed him. He shook his head to clear the feelings holding him back. It didn't matter what he had to do. What was important was rescuing Raven.

With a sharp cry he landed next to an eerily familiar place, an old library to be precise. Dark energy radiated from past the yellow warning tape and "marked for demolition" signs surrounding it. Beast Boy shape-shifted back into his human form and sighed, this wasn't going to be easy.

Cyborg said that the device would only work in an area that was full of demonic energy and could sustain a portal long enough for Beast Boy to enter. If it was just demonic energy Beast Boy could have chosen Raven's room or the place in the words he had last seen her, but both places couldn't sustain a non-magical portal long enough for Beast Boy to be able to get through.

Last time we came here was when the end of the world was coming. Now it's the end of my own world. Beast Boy thought. I'm not even sure that I can still get in here… The last time Beast Boy was in here was with the other titans, and they practically stumbled through the place and got lucky enough that they didn't die from ghosts or taking a wrong direction. Some of the passages had closed though, and he would probably have to take an entirely different route.

Even the entrance was quickly sealed after the whole event; he would have to find another way to enter. He sighed and shifted into a mole. It was time to find Raven.

Well… Absolutely like… Nothing happened in this chapter… Don't worry, there will be a whole lot of Beast Boy and drama and all that exciting stuff in the next chapter. I've been too busy to write so I just needed to post what I can, sorry. I kinda broke off too, whatever.

I'm slowly rewriting the earlier chapters to make them better, so far only the first chapter has been redone. And all I really did was just add and rearrange some stuff to fit better as well as fix whatever SPaG problems were there.

Ah well please review and let me know what you thought.
