Rule# 18 "Where none want to go, few rarely do."

"No, no, no, no." He shook his head from side to side as he slowly backed away. "Just no!"

"Oh, stop being a baby. It's just a sewer." She dropped down the hole, and he bit his lip. He didn't want to go, but he wanted to be alone even less. He followed.

"Why are we here again?" he asked, voice muffled by the shirt he'd pulled up over his nose.

"We're here, because someone decided stealing from stormtroopers was a good idea."

He carefully avoided looking at her, despite the fact that he could feel the disapproval and irritation aimed at him.

"You steal from troopers," he mumbled. A smack to the back of the head told him she'd heard him.

"I know what I'm doing. I know how to not get caught. I know what is and isn't safe to steal from Imperials," She growled at him. "You. Do. Not."

She marched off down a side tunnel and he followed, sullenly rubbing the place her finger had poked with the last three words.

"That still doesn't explain why we're here, in a sewer." He said, careful to stay out of arms reach. "Why didn't we just go to the roofs if we were trying to get away?"

"Because troopers aren't quite as, er." She frowned, trying to think of the right word. "Look the roofs aren't always safe, and troopers have guns. Going up top would just make us an easier target to hit since we'd be the only things there and draw more attention, which is something we absolutely don't want."

"Ok," he said slowly. "But we could have lost them in the crowd or something right? Why come here?"

"Because staying up top wasn't worth the risk."

"Huh?"

She sighed, shoulders slumping in the way he'd come to know meant he wasn't understanding something she thought was obvious.

"Let me put it this way, on a scale of 'one' to 'don't even think about it, because it'll get you killed,' stormtroopers and high ranking Imperials are a 'do not annoy.' Ok?"

He nodded, but the flat look she was giving him said she didn't believe him.

"OK, look." She tugged at her hat. "Stormtroopers are soldiers, alright? They're trained to kill, not just rough people up. They're dangerous even if you do know how to avoid getting shot, and you still kcus at dodging. So I want to avoid them as much as possible."

He nodded along with the explanation, lips twisted in a tiny frown as he thought.

"That means coming down here, a place no one wants to go so not many people do."

"Is that another rule?" he whined. She cocked her head to the side.

"Why not? It's got a nice ring to it. Good idea." She clapped him on the back.

"Wait? No! That's no–"

"New rule!" She shouted over him and he groaned. "Where none want to go, few do, so head there if you're trying to avoid someone. Just don't get lazy and careless and start assuming no one will be there 'cause that's when someone will be there."

Her voice grew faint as she turned around another corner, and groaning he followed after her.
