Part Two: Chapter Nine: Plans

I woke the the door slamming open, Percy still asleep next to me. I sat up to glare at whoever decided to burst in. "What?" I hissed irritated. Clarisse stared at me, then the boy in my bed. I could read her emotions, irritation, annoyance, confusion, realization, embarrassment, and anger. All shifting around in different orders, trying to settle on one but none lasting more than a few seconds. Finally she decided on annoyance and slammed her fists into my desk, startling Percy awake. He stared wide-eyed at Clarisse.

"Please explain to me how you go from fighting to sleeping together," she stated bluntly.

"Angry sex?" Percy offered.

"I'm sure that's not the question you were going to ask when first bursting into the room." I studied her, she glared at me.

"Some people were concerned when they didn't see Percy this morning and thought he might have ran off." She stated. "Get dressed you lazy pieces of shit, you're both grounded." I glanced at Percy who was just blankly staring at her.

"Grounded," he repeated. "You're… grounding us? From what?"

"From each other, now hurry up before I beat your asses!" She marched out of the room. He rubbed his temples and sighed before looking at me. He leaned over and pecked my lips before getting up and finding clothes.

"You're just going to accept that?" I asked him.

"Haven't you learned by now that it's best just to humor her?" He asked, digging through my dresser, he pulled out an outfit for me, then grabbed one for himself.

"But we're grounded from each other and I just got you back." I commented as we dressed. "There is no way that I'm letting you go again." He smiled at me then walked over and took my hand.

"It won't be that bad, just some supervised dates and Clarisse breathing down our necks for the next few days." He mused. "She already promised me that the first time a guy takes me out she'd be there glaring daggers at him the entire time."

"What a mother," I laughed as we left the cabin. Clarisse was waiting impatiently for us. Chris and the Stolls not to far away talking and Katie was sitting on a railing with Annabeth. Bianca and Thalia were up on the mast talking and watching. I could tell that Piper was above us, watching as well.

"You're not aloud to be alone together for the next week." She stated.

"Only if you and Chris abide by that same rule." Percy crossed his arms over his chest, they held a glaring contest.

"I'm not the one that-"

"That spent a night with your boyfriend?" Percy continued. "I can hardly believe that." I could see her cheeks turning red. "I'm sure you've had plenty of nights alone with Chris and enjoying his company. Nico and I haven't exactly been that lucky over the course of the last few years." I could hear both of the Stolls snicker at that. "So if I'm not aloud to be alone with my boyfriend for the next week, neither are you."

"Oh, Percy you didn't hear the good news?" Chris asked, chuckling a bit. "We're engaged." Percy turned to him.

"Really? Congratulations!" He said excitedly. "Are you planning a traditional wedding or-"

"Silena's covering it." Chris mused. "She'll be overjoyed to hear that you're still alive."

"I'll have to visit when we get back to The Hydra." Percy returned his attention to Clarisse. "Do we have a deal?"

"No." She stated keeping her glare for a few more seconds. "Fine you win." Percy grinned and squeezed my hand. "But I'm still keeping an eye on you both."

"Of course," he laughed. She marched off, taking Chris and disappearing below deck.

"What happened to humoring her?" I asked as we joined Annabeth and Katie. The Stolls walked over soon after and Bianca climbed down, leaning against the netting a few feet away.

"That was humoring her." Percy noted. "I considered her idea, then twisted it in a way that would force her to disagree with it. Or she'd go along with it and she'd be sharing in our punishment. Either way it works out in our favor."

"I taught you well," Annabeth ruffled his hair, he laughed, pulling away from her and letting me hold him. Katie smiled a little, then quickly hid it.

"So this is the famous Nico di Angelo you were always talking about." She noted, inspecting me. I frowned a little and looked at him.

"You spoke of me?" I asked.

"Quite often," Katie nodded. "Whenever he was missing the sea and his ship. Which was at least three times a week."

"Or the entire week." Bianca agreed. "When I visited, you were his only topic." Percy blushed and hid his face in my shoulder getting the girls to laugh. I noticed Katie holding her midsection, she dropped her arms when she saw me looking. "So, what's this plan of yours Percy? Why did you need me to tag along?" Bianca asked, it was a few minutes before he could look up, the red gone from his face but the embarrassed look still there. He looked at everyone.

"I don't want it to be big, rescuing Will. Just a small party will slip in and out" He pulled away and stood properly. "Jake, you, the Stolls, and me. Well," he glanced at me. "I that's what I had planned before."

"Like I could stop you," I rolled my eyes and he smiled and returning his attention to her. "Once we're in sight of the ship or the cove… wherever they're at. You'd shadow travel us over to them, knock out or kill anyone who gets in our way, try not to raise an alarm." Jake joined us, Percy glanced at him. "Jake knows his way inside and out of any trap, magical, mechanical doesn't matter. He can get us into any room and break anyone out. He's the one that will get Will out. Once you've got him, my Pegasi will be waiting. If Bianca's not close enough for you to shadow travel out you take the Pegasi and leave. Get back to this ship, and don't look back."

"What if the alarm is sounded?" Annabeth asked.

"Hopefully you'll be standing ready." Percy responded. "I have a few favors left from the sea, I can call for help but only if it's absolutely necessary. With luck we won't need it."

"So prepare for the worse." I noted. "That's reasonable."

"Connor and Travis will be our distraction on ship should anything happen. We'll send a flair out."
