Chapter 14

Harry and Bella kept hold of their hands as they slowly edged towards the clearing. They could hear some struggling and shouts, but other than that, they had no way of knowing if Voldemort was there.

"My Lord." A sickly voice asked, making the twins share a look as they recognised the voice of Bellatrix. "There is no sight of the twins."

"It appears, that I was wrong. They are not coming." The hissing voice of Voldemort sounded. The twins nodded to each other before walking into the clearing.

"As much as I hate to admit it, you were right." Bella said as all the death eaters stepped back and Voldemort stepped forwards.

"'Arry? Bella? What are ya doin'? Get outta 'ere!" They saw Hagrid being restrained by 5 death eaters.

"Well. Isn't this a pleasant sight?" He said. "Isabella, you look as lovely as ever. The offer still stands, become my wife, and I will spare you brother."

"Oh spare me the lies." She snapped. "And besides, you're a year too late." She said, holding up her left hand to show him her engagement ring. "I'm engaged. To an extremely overprotective vampire."

"He's overprotective?" Harry asked.

"Yeah. But good overprotective. Not bad overprotective." She replied.

"What would you call 'bad' overprotective?" He asked, before smiling. "Sirius." They said together.

"ENOUGH!" Voldemort yelled. "Well, if I can't have you, then no one can." He snapped, raising his wand. Bella and Harry held tighter to the others hand, not even drawing their wands. "AVADA KADAVA!" A green light hit them, and they were blasted off their feet. The last thing they remembered, was landing on the hard, cold ground.

Bella opened her eyes to see nothing but white, White walls, white floors, even white benches. It looked like she was in an overly clean kings cross station, but that confused her more than anything. She stood up and looked around, confused and wondering what happened.

"Bella?" She turned to see Harry getting to his feet and pulled him to the tightest hug she could. "I thought we died." He whispered.

"Me too." She mumbled, pulling back and seeing something under one of the benches. "What's that?" They bent down, only to jump back as they saw what looked like 2 bloody, mangled babies.

"That is what is left of the horecrox that lived inside the both of you." A voice said, making them spin around to see Dumbledore behind them, looking younger than the last time they saw him.

"Professor?" Harry asked. He motioned for the twins to follow him and sit down on a bench further down the room. "I don't understand. I thought we died."

"Well, when Voldemort hit you with the killing curse, he was unknowingly killing the pieces of himself that lived inside you. He thought that your mother's protection in your blood kept him alive and made him able to kill you, but all it did was bind the 2 of you to him." He said, his blue eyes twinkling.

"I don't want to be bound to him in any way." Bella mumbled, resisting the urge to puke.

"That is not what I meant my dear." He said with a smile. "I merely meant that when he used your blood to bring himself back to life, he bound your lives to his, meaning that…"

"As long as he is alive, so are we." Harry finished. "But I still don't understand. Where are we?"

"Where does it look like?" Dumbledore asked.

"Kings cross. But cleaner. A lot cleaner." Bella said.

"What do we do?" Harry asked.

"Kings cross you say. Well, I suppose you could get on a train." He answered.

"Where would it take us?" Bella asked, not liking the teasing glint in his eyes.

"On." He said, getting up and starting to walk away. "Oh and by the way, I pride myself on my ability to change previous statements. I therefore change my previous phrasing to this. Help, will always be given at Hogwarts, to those who deserve it." He said before disappearing.

"Professor!" Bella yelled after him. "Why does he have to talk in riddles all the time?" She asked. They heard what sounded like a train horn and walked towards it, not knowing what was waiting for them.

Bella could feel the cold, hard earth underneath her as she lay on her side. She felt a warm hand in hers and knew it belonged to Harry. She kept her eyes closed, not knowing what was happening.

"Bella? You ok?" She heard Harry ask through their connection.

"Yeah. You?" She asked, squeezing his hand tighter.

"Yeah." He replied.

"My Lord!" They heard someone yell. Harry opened his eyes a crack to see Bella's face in front of his, but just behind her in his eye line, he saw all the death eaters crowded around something which he realised was Voldemort lying on the floor.

"Leave me!" He snapped in his snake like voice. Harry quickly shut his eyes again as he looked in his direction. "The twins. Are they dead? You! Check." The twins heard someone walk over to them and felt each other's panic. As the person's hands felt over their hearts, they were convinced that this was it for them.

"Draco." They heard Narccissa Malfoy breathe. "Is he alive?"

"Yes." They whispered together.

"They're dead." She announced.

"Maybe she isn't that bad." Harry said through their connection as they heard the death eaters cheer.

"Maybe. She just married a stuck up ass hole." Bella replied, making Harry have to try extremely hard not to laugh.

"You!" Voldemort snapped. "Carry them. We will take them to the school. Show them what has become of their 'heroes'" They felt large, strong arms pick them up and Hagrid's quiet cries, signalling he was the one to carry them. "Keep their hands together. It's a nice touch."

"God. This bastard keeps finding more ways to make me sick." Bella thought to Harry, along with an image of her being sick.

"Hey sis, I didn't need to see that!" Harry replied. They realised that they were near the school when they heard the doors open, followed by Ginny's cry of horror.

"BELLA! NO!" They heard Edward scream. Harry could feel Bella's guilt at what she was putting her fiancé through.

"THE TWINS THAT LIVED, ARE DEAD!" Voldemort shouted as he made Hagrid lay them on the floor.

"NO!" They heard Esme scream. Bella opened her eyes a crack to see Emmett and Jasper holding Edward back and Alice and Rosalie holding Carlisle and Esme back.

"QUIET!" Voldemort yelled, making them all silent. "This, is what will happen to those who defy me. If you step forward now, I will give you a position in my ranks. If not, you will die." There was silence for a moment. "And who are you?" Obviously someone stepped forward, but neither of the twins dared to open their eyes to see.

"Nevil Longbottom." Nevil said, making Bella's heart freeze.

"NEVIL?" She screamed in her mind. "What the hell is he doing?"

"Longbottom? Well, I'm sure we can find something for you to do." Voldemort said, making the death eaters laugh.

"I would like to say something. Harry and Bella did everything they could. They gave their lives to stopping this war, and this is what happens? They deserve better. They never gave up on us for a second, so why should we turn our backs on them now?" He said, making the twins feel touched.

"Well, those are fine words. From a dead man." Voldemort hissed. Bella felt him step near her leg, and quickly let Harry know what she was going to do. She swung her leg around, knocking Voldemort off his feet. They both jumped up and ran to the other side of the courtyard, hiding behind a broken wall.

Before anyone could move, there were 4 Bella's and 4 Harry's running from the broken wall and dodging spells. No one knew which was the real Harry and Bella, which gave them time to throw the invisibility cloak over themselves. They started to move away from the wall when the fake twin's disappeared. After a few moments of silence, 5 figures appeared out of thin air, materialising into James and Lilly Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Albus Dumbledore.

"Impossible. You are all dead." Voldemort hissed.

"You hurt my children. You took them away from everything they knew and made them your enemies." Lilly said, her voice echoing. The twins had managed to run all the way to the astronomy tower while all this was happening.

"Good job Anna." Bella said, pulling the cloak off and smiling at the Vampire from the Volturi with the power to make pretty life like illusions. "Time for the finale."

"Tom Riddle." Dumbledore said, moving forward. "You sent Snape to kill me. You tried to kill innocent people under my watch. No more. This is it. This is the end of you." The 4 illusions disappeared and Harry and Bella sent a spell down, blasting all of the death eaters off their feet. They all looked up to see the very much alive Potter twins stood at the top of the astronomy tower.

"EVERYONE INSIDE. NOW!" Harry yelled, making the whole of the 'good side' run into the school. "Get everyone into the great hall." He said to the order. He and Bella ran toward the stairs, meeting Voldemort half way. They shot spells at him and dodged the ones he threw at them. They looked behind him and saw Nevil kill the snake with the sword of Gryffindor. They saw Voldemort about to apparate away, and quickly grabbed onto him, making him take them and steer him off course. They flew outside and smashed through one of the windows of the great hall, falling to the floor and rolling away from each other.

"Bella!" Edward yelled, seeing her land harshly on her side.

"Stay there!" She ordered, getting to her feet. She stood next to Harry and looked at Voldemort. "This is it Tom. Just the 3 of us. No more Horecrox's to fall back on." She said.

"How did you do it? How did you survive?" He asked them.

"Mainly through your ignorance." Harry replied. "When you took our blood, you made it so that as long as you are alive, so are we."

"You also killed part of yourself when you killed us. You see, when you tried, and failed, to kill us the first time, you made us Horecroxs. And you killed them earlier." Bella replied.

"It's over Tom. This is where it ends." Harry snapped. The twins both yelled "EXPELEARMUS!" While Voldemort screamed "AVADA KADAVA!" Their spells met halfway and the whole room moved back, trying to avoid being hit. The spells started to move closer to Voldemort, his wand starting to split, when they hit him. His face was that of utter shock as he fell to his knees, his body starting to turn to dust. They both stared at the pile of dust and robes that was once the most feared wizard in the world with wide eyes, not quite registering what happened.

"We did it." Bella breathed, looking at Harry with a smile. "WE DID IT!" She launched herself into his arms and they laughed in relief. The whole room cheered and ran forward, trying to touch their savours. The order and teachers rounded up the death eaters that hung around and started escorting them to the dungeons to lock them in a room or something.

"Bella!" She turned around to see Edward fighting his way towards her, careful not to hurt anyone.

"Edward." She breathed, pushing her way towards him. The second he could, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her with more passion than he ever had before. They pulled apart and saw Hermione and Ron kissing, along with Harry and Ginny.

"YOU!" Someone screeched. The crowd parted to reveal Bellatrix looking as mad as ever. "You killed him!" She screamed.

"Well done. You finally found a brain." Bella teased.

"Why you-" She started, pulling her wand up. "AVADA KADAVA!" She screamed before Bella had time to do anything. Before she could even blink, 2 bodies were in front of her, taking the spell. She realised that it was Carlisle and Esme, who couldn't be killed.

"You bitch." Esme spat, making all of the Cullen children and Bella's mouths open in shock. "Stay away from my daughter!"

Carlisle stepped forward and punched Bellatrix in the face, making her fall unconscious. He looked back at his children's and Bella's shocked faces. "What? I didn't kill her did I?" He asked.

"Only you would punch a mad woman who tried to kill Bella and worry that you killed her." Rosalie laughed.

"Hey! How come I get yelled at when I say bitch but its fine for you?" Emmett asked in a whine.

"Do as I say, not as I do." Esme laughed. She looked at Bella, slightly worried. "Is it ok that I called you my daughter?"

"Esme, I am so touched! I love it! And I want you to know that I think of you and Carlisle as the parents I never knew." She replied with a smile, making the 2 vampires hug her. "Hey Harry! Get your butt over here!" She yelled. Her twin walked over, slightly cautious to be around vampires. "Harry, this is Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, Rosalie, Jasper, Alice and you've already met Edward. They are the Cullens, they saved me a lot and are like family. Guys, this is Harry, my twin brother."

"I can see the resemblance." Jasper said, shaking Harry's hand.

"Hey Bells, Harry." They turned around to see Hermione running towards them.

"Guys, this is Hermione. Hermone, Cullens. Where's Ron?" Bella asked.

"Talking to his family. But listen, Fudge is here and wants to see you." She said.

"And that is our cue to leave." Harry muttered as Bella grabbed a piece of debris and cast a spell on it, turning it into a portkey.

"Who's Fudge?" Alice asked, annoyed that all this magical interference was stopping her visions.

"He's our old Minister of Magic. He was fired for not listening when we tried to tell him that Voldemort was back." Harry said as Ron ran over.

"So what's the problem?" Emmett asked.

"We hate him and he can't stand us." They said at the same time, making Emmett's eyes widen.

"Wow. Cool!" He said, loving the fact that the twin's talked at the same time.

"So why does that mean you have to leave?" Rosalie asked.

"It's complicated." They said, again at the same time. "Just gold on." They all grabbed the portkey and were transported to the Cullen's home. The 4 teenagers laughed as the Cullen's looked like they were about to be sick.

"I hate your way of travel." Alice moaned. "Well, at least this means we can avoid the Volturi."

"Shit!" Bella yelled, grabbing her wand. "We left Anna!" She yelled, making Hermione jump up and apparate to Hogwarts, going to get the vampire.

"Who's Anna?" Edward asked.

"A vampire from the Volturi. She's the one that created the illusions." Harry said, making the Cullen's laugh.

"How did you get him to agree to let you borrow one of his 'talented' guards?" Carlisle asked. In all the time he knew Aro, he never once let anyone use his vampires for anything other than his own, selfish desires.

"I may have threatened to blow them all up. And then said that I would give them immunity in the wizarding world." Bella replied.

"So, you basically said that no one could kill them?" Rosalie asked, making sure she heard right.

"Technically, I said that no witch or wizard would kill the m while in the wizarding world. And since there are no witches and wizards in Italy, we can kill them if we cross their path." She replied with a smile. Edward wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close. All the danger was behind them, and Harry and Bella were finally free to do as they wished with their lives.
