Two weeks later

Cruz Manor

"Steve, I think you're gonna love this gym that I was telling you about." Alex says "They have a coach that made it to the 1973 Olympics, placed 6th all-around and he is looking for help to run the business." Enthusiastically handing Steve the numbers not looking pleased, "I know what you're thinking!" walking in front of his "Lucky #23" jersey as he calls it, "But he's old! Which means that after maybe about a year or so, we'll be able to convince him to retire and the gym will be mine….I mean ours of course. I was also thinking that you could bring your daughter to this gym to see how progress would be? I mean she has never been to any serious gym before and it could be a stepping stone for her as well."

"Lauren does needs to start seriously training but, Alex, you're not looking at these numbers. This is one of the lowest ranking gyms in the country." Pacing around the room thinking, "The coach Valentin….Prokopy…. hasn't taken any girls to the Olympics in ten years and the ones he hasn't taken he's injured in some way. I mean you wouldn't even bring Kaylie to train at this gym full time."

Sighing, he looks up at the ceiling for a minute, "My daughter is in rhythmic gymnastics which is..." "I know what that is Alex, ok, you're not the only one that knows how to research online." Holding his hand up, trying his best to be professional, "My daughter isn't going to be some test subject for this venture. However, I'm willing to look more into this building to see if it has the potential that I'm looking for because as you know I have several businesses that already need my attention and this needs to be worth my time and money."

Shaking his head, he surrenders, "ok, fine. We can look at the property and bring both of our girls to see if they would both like it and then we can make a decision. But it has to be in two weeks, I have a game and Kaylie has modeling and commercial gigs lined up with "Denver Style" and Club Fashion this week.

Threatened he nods his head, "Yes that's fine with me, just call and let me know a specific time" showing himself out.

Maybe this could be good for me, I mean you can never have too much money. Besides I need to do something other than look for Leslie all day. Plus the time that Lauren spent with Kaylie really distracted her from thinking about her mother. It breaks my heart when I walk past Lauren's room and hear her sobbing because she isn't there to tell her a story and tuck her in bed. This could be good for us, just me and her, Team Tanner. I like the sound of that.
