Epilouge: Postscript

To those future Demigods who have to suffer under our greatest quest. I would be lying if I said I'm sorry for the return of Kronos, we did what we could to delay him in our time. Connor, Katie and I left after we lost our greatest friend. As for what happened to the others? Silena and Beckendorf have another kid, a little boy that spends most of his time pretending to be a Pirate. Their daughter had married and left the Hydra, returning with her husband to France. Clarisse and Chris retired, they moved to New York and spent some time helping Percy's family, then started a life of their own. Clarisse is expecting any day now. Leo had finally finished rebuilding his dragon. They stop by every once and a while but never for long. Hazel, Frank, Bianca and Jason returned to Port Sleas. Reyna, Piper and Annabeth gathered a new crew and left. Will, crippled from his time with Luke's crew retired with Jake. Returning to the mortal world and are currently staying in NYC. Both Tyson and Ella have gone, no one knows where and any trace of them was swept away with the winds. Rachel's currently at the demigod camp ran by Chiron, being protected by those being trained there. As for us? Katie had a miscarriage with her first child. She was upset over it, but relieved at the same time. Since then she's had two kids. A set of twins, boys who are as mischievous as their fathers, and is with child as I write this. We're currently living in her old hometown, after a storm had destroyed it years ago, they had rebuilt. We live in a small cottage on a cliff that stretches into the sea.
As for Percy and Nico, Bianca told us that they went for rebirth. Trying to reach the isle of the blessed I suppose, or hoping to see each other again in another life, without all the heartache that remembering their deaths would cause them. To you future Demigods who read our story, or have to suffer with what we started. You'd be right to blame us. We started his healing process, and didn't try to stop it. But honestly what else can you expect? We're pirates. It's what we do.
Recently we've been hearing whispers of a ship, black as night and rising from the depths of the ocean. It's Captain as cruel as the strongest hurricanes, and crewed by the most feared pirates in the world. And late at night, when the kids are asleep, we'll look to the ocean and watch as The Huntress sails through the stars. Maybe you'll see her too. But what do I know?
I'm just the story teller.
Good luck to you in the future,
Travis Stoll
And yes, this is the closure of this tale. But wait! There's more. Within the next few days I'll be putting up a new story, set in modern times and bringing back our beloved hero's. Filled with more adventure, humor, and yes it's a rebirth fic.
I'll see you, when we Return to the Hunt.
