It had been two days since Tom's operation and things looked really well. Except the mob of news reporters outside the ED waiting for news about the first man to try this operation. And Zoe was just on her way to talk to them,
"Zoe any news on Tom" Came the voice of Fletch
"Yes I was going to hold a meeting but because you're a good mate I will tell you now. Well basically everything went well no complications and I think they are starting physio today"
"Ok thanks Zo I will let you go to the press."
"Fletch would you be able to come just in case"
"Yeah sure"
They walked outside and the press instantly started taking pictures and filming for the 6 o'clock news,
"How is he... is he ok?" Was just some of the questions asked all in a matter of seconds
"Can I get some hush" Zoe said but everyone carried on talking
"EVERYONE SHUT UP" Fletch yelled and it instantly went quite
"Thank you Fletch" Zoe said then carried on,
"Right your all here to find out the progress of Dr Thomas Kent and I as his boss are here to tell you. He had the operation 2 days ago and has had made a full recovery with no complications and is due to start physio today his physio will be for 2 weeks and then we will re assess him and see if there is any progress and then we will look at walking. But that is all I know so please bugger off this area is ambulances only"
And with that they all left mumbling to each other.
Not that long but longer than the last chapter I hope you enjoyed. Please R&R,
