Hi guys thanks for the reviews over 60 that's the most I have had ;) I hope you enjoy this chapter and I know what you're thinking 3 updates in 2 days wow but the only reason I have been able to do this is because teachers have been really nice and not given any homework. I may update tomorrow but Friday and Saturday will probably be a no show as I am sleeping over my friend's house to do a project on the Mary Rose.
It had now been two weeks and two days since Tom's operation and he had just finished his last intense physio session and was waiting for the doctor to come around to see if there's any chance of walking,
"Tom whatever happens I want you to know I love you" Sam said holding Toms hand
"Thank you. I love you too. And Sam"
"Yeah?"
"Thank you for being there for me there's been loads of time were you could have just got up and gone but you haven't and I don't deserve someone like you"
Before anything else could be said the doctor came in,
"Right let's see your progress ai" He said. Getting his pen out of his pocket
"Now I would like you to close your eyes and tell me which side my pen is touching" he said. And Tom closed his eyes. The doctor first taped the top of his right leg,
"Right"
"Very good"
Next he tapped the bottom of his left leg near his ankle,
"Left"
"Well done"
Next the top left
"Left"
"Yes"
Next bottom right
"Right"
"Well done you can open your eyes now"
"How did I do"
"You did very well we got to do some more now"
"Ok"
"Right can you wiggle your toes for me"
Tom concentrated and then his toes wiggled and a smile instantly sprang on Tom and Sam's face,
"Right can you move your feet up and down"
It took a couple of try's but he finally moved his feet up and down,
"Very good now can you try and bend your knees"
It took a while again but he did do it
"Very well done. I'm just going to get a couple of extra hands and a pair of crutches and we will try walking" the doctor said with a grin on his face.
"Everything's looking good" smiled Sam
"Yes it is" Tom smiled back as the doctors came back
"You ready" Toms doctor said
"As I will ever be" Tom replied
"Right let's get your legs over the side of the bed"
They got Toms legs over the side of the bed and he stood up and collapsed.
